No one said this is going to be easy. I think I even mention that in my
book. Tomorrow just try to keep below the 30 grams of carbohydrate
a day. As you mention below, it works. If you make a mistake, just
learn from it and go on. You will note that when you go over the 30 grams
of carb your rosacea will return. Sugar is the fuel that keeps the rosacea
burning. You are learning to cool the fire by reducing the fuel. You are
also learning how addicted you are to sugar. Some have said it is worse than
getting off heroine. Just think that at the end of the thirty days you will
treat
yourself to all the fruit and sugar you want. Then you will decide after that
if sugar is worth eating like you did before, or whether you like controlling
rosacea with diet. Not everyone can do this diet, so don't beat yourself up.
You can always find other ways to control it like doxycycline or all the other
treatments I mention in my book. But I would like to encourage you to try
this for thirty days. And I look forward to your reports.

As to the different sources on cole slaw carb counts, I don't know what to say.
I quote Atkins. Just do your best to reduce carbohydrate. That is the idea.
Read the chapter on Vegetarians which may give you some ideas on alternative
foods to eat for thirty days.
