I am back from a trip to the RI sea coast. I flare-up from the sun but
this time I tried a heavy duty sun block. Solar Protection Formula
SPF58. Mineral Block and water resistant. I lathered my face in it and
it seemed to help. Have a few pimples and a little rash. I did not put
this on my eyelids. Even though it was in the 70s and hardly no wind,
my eyelids are both so swollen and itchy today I can hardly see. I
used Bionect a precription Derm med and it seems to help a bit. I have
used so many prescription meds (including Oracea, which doesn't work
at all), OTC of all kinds. Nothing really helps. I will try the sun
block on the lids the next time I leave the house. I feel like a
vampire...never to see the sun! I am 69 years old..these rashes come
and go in my life but at this time they are the worst I have ever had.
