Are these foods safe?   Message List

Hi. I'm new to this group, so hello to all!

I have the early stages of Rosacea with hot/itchy red flareups which
subside after about an hour. My forehead and increasing the cheeks are
red/blotchy in appearance. I have bought myself a copy of the Rosacea
Diet and am about to start the 30 diet. Over the past few months I
have done endless amounts of reading (bet I'm not the 1st one here to
have done that?!) on the triggers of the red flare-ups. Looking
through the Rosacea Diet there are a number of foods that seem to
conflict with things I have read (e.g.
http://www.buzzle.com/editorials/7-17-2006-102610.asp) which are
included in the diet. These are tomatoes, sausage, vinegar, cheese,
eggplants, avocadoes, spinach. It just seem odd that foods that are
reported to be triggers are included in the diet.

From people experiences, are the foods listed above ok to include?
Thanks
