Elena, the Rosacea/Protein Power Diet is a very powerful way of eating for
restoring health. Not just for clearing the skin. I use it with several of my
patients in clinic (I have my acupuncture license in California) for various
health problems, including GERD. It very well could happen that you could get
off your meds, or at least reduce your dosage with your doctor's okay, PROVIDED
you follow the Diet through to its maintenance level and basically remain with
it. If you have any questions with the "30-Day" book, let me know.
Yeah, the chocolate experiment. Actually, it wasn't quite an experiment -- I had
a very good idea what was going to happen, or rather not happen. There's a lot
to be said for following the plan the majority of the time. That way a short
detour doesn't derail everything you've worked hard to do. But had I continued
with the chocolate and gone back to eating poorly, yeah the chocolate run would
have been a disaster. It pays to read labels carefully and be very choosy about
what you put in your mouth ... LOL :)

> Well thank you again Rachael. Very good reading. Interesting that you
mention GERD because that is one of the conditions I have. If and when I get as
good at this as you and Brady I'd love to experiment with getting off the
medication I take for the GERD. Also would love to get off the fibromyalgia
medicine (I REALLY don't like that one!). I have to go to Barnes and Noble this
week to pick up a dictionary for my son, so I'll look for the book you suggest.
Thanks again.
