Visiting family...just thinking about it makes me feel redness coming on...!
Actually whenever I get out of my daily routine and usual digs my health boat
gets rocked. Summer is hard for me too. When it is real hot I run from AC to AC.
At least your current home is good for you. Guess I am not offering any fix,
just commiserating a bit. But, maybe more water might help sort of flush things
out. Best of luck. Deb

in New York in the middle of a hot
summer for the past 3 weeks and my skin is not looking good. I have had
a flare up of redness on both my cheeks. Red blotches and some small
pus pimples. I think the hot weather doesn't do me well in terms of the
flushing, but also I am eating things I normally don't eat so much of
at home: more carbs and sugar and more meat too, since I've been here.
Not sure which is having an impact. Maybe all of the above.
Anyway, as of today I am going to try hard to remove most of the carbs
and sugar from my diet. I shouldn't have "slipped" into eating them
again anyway. I am hoping this makes a difference. Boy, this skin thing
really affects my mood and my interest in doing normal things when I
feel like I don't look my best! Also, I realize I probably cannot
tolerate the temperature extremes of summer in NY anymore, having lived
in a cooler, more moderate climate for the past 20 years.
So glad for this email network.
