Hi Deb and everyone,
Yes, regarding the clinic, I go to the one run by Dr Patrick Bitter,
Sr in San Francisco, so I know they are reputable. Last year when I
had a few photoderm treatments from them, they did mention something
about stopping tetracylines. But at that time, I was not taking any
antibiotics, so it wasn't an issue and I didn't bother to get the
full information on it. Now, if I went back, I would ask more
questions on that matter. But at the moment, I'm not doing any anti-
biotics, except for topicals like Metrogel and Klaron lotion. But
because I have these persistent red papules, especially on one side,
I am reconsidering getting the photoderm, even though I wasn't all
that impressed with the few I had done. But at least they did zap my
red spots and it dried they up. Anyway, thanks for the input. Deb,
have you ever done photoderm and were you satisfied with
it?.....Giovanna ( who has discovered the joys of hazelnut butter,
delicious and low carb, no sugar!)
