Hi, NF,
Although the company still sells through their toll free phone number to their
established patients, they have stopped all internet marketing. If you live in
California, and you go to their clinic, that is the only way they presently
accept patients, according to my recent phone conversation with them, (at the
toll free number in message #169). It appears that they have formed some
alliance with the Yahoo! Company since I posted message #169.
So, you can obtain [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] by finding a doctor to help you
with a prescription of this med for rosacea. Message #64 is the most helpful to
you in doing this. To my knowledge, USA doctors have started prescribing this
med for rosacea, since October 2003, so you will hopefully be able to obtain it
more easily, (for rosacea), as time passes. It helps if you demand this
prescription for rosacea, rather than taking "no" for an answer.
If the news of this one-and-only, first-ever, treatment/cure had not been
suppressed, many more rosaceans would have gotten rid of their rosacea by now.
We can only pray that those responsible for this suppression, and
disinformation, lose much more money in the future, for their actions, than they
are making from "helping/supporting" rosaceans now.

There are some testimonials that have come to me, but they are incomplete. As
you may know, it was about 18 months, from my first use of [FLUCONAZOLE 1%
SOLUTION] on my rosacea, until I first got on the internet, to "announce" this
first-ever, one-and-only treatment/cure for rosacea. I was the first, so I took
longer, but even those now getting rid of their rosacea with this med, take time
to realize that this is the real thing, the first-ever true cure for rosacea.

We also have to fully understand, that paid liars/profiteers will be coming
forward, in every way possible, to try to publicly discredit this [FLUCONAZOLE
1% SOLUTION] treatment/cure for rosacea. But for those who apply this med even
one time to their rosacea, and experience the improvement that occurs, I am
extremely confident that they will understand that they want to continue this
treatment/cure to 100% completion, which will normally take many months.

The main requirement, in any truthful and complete testimony, is that the doctor
prescribing this med for rosacea tell the truth publicly, that this med
treats/cures rosacea. To my knowledge, this requirement has not been met yet,
by enough doctors. Part of the reason for this, is that the forces that are
trying to suppress the news of this cure for rosacea, are so powerful, and so
insidious, and downright evil. When the profit motive overcomes every good
motive, (as in this case), the result is more ugly than most of us can imagine.

We can only pray that these astronomically evil forces are defeated, sooner
rather than later. In the USA, about 14 million rosaceans are being prevented
from getting rid of their rosacea. Worldwide, an estimated two hundred million
rosaceans are being kept in the dark, and are continuing to suffer while the
"rosacea-profiteers" prosper from this suffering. For those profiteers who are
reading this, I can only emphasize, that you will pay for your actions, and my
prayer is that you are punished sooner, rather than later.
God Bless,
Dave Fleming

Hello. i'm new here, but i like the info i've seen. i was just
wondering if there are any testamonials about this medication for
rosacea? it seem's only Mr. Flemming has experience using this med.
anyone else?
And if anyone knows the website of that California company that will
perscribe the medication online could you give it to me? i believe
it was in message #169. thank you.

Subject: Very Important Useful Advice, when using [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]
fulltruth40
Offline Offline
Send Email Send Email

For Everyone,
I have given some advice here, that I believe is very important, to anyone
starting to use [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], in treating/curing rosacea. Prior to
this, I have hesitated to give some of this advice publicly, because I know that
there are those who will try to "muddy the water", by claiming that the
additions to this treatment/cure that I recommend might rid one of rosacea
symptoms, which would discredit [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]. However, I am
beginning to think that there may be many thousands of rosaceans who are
silently trying this treatment, without contacting me, so I offer this advice
publicly, in spite of the possible detractors.
The following message, with my reply, is a sort of "universal start advice". I
have no way of knowing, whether this person is telling the truth, or not. Also,
since we do not know the identity of the doctor, or even of the Compounding
Pharmacist involved, we cannot check, to make certain that they have the exactly
correct formulation, of [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION].

I personally believe this is probably a true "first report", and I do strongly
encourage everyone trying this treatment/cure, to post, here on the rosacea-cure
board. If enough true reports are made, it will tend to cancel out the false
reports that are certain to be made, and will make it less necessary, for me to
constantly Moderate/Approve, (or temporarily withhold), every message posted.
So, this message is posted for the sake of those many thousands of rosaceans who
may be trying [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], worldwide, without contacting me.
Before this, in trying to help the few that have updated me privately, I have
given what little additional advice I could.
So far, I have withheld such "partial, incomplete testimonies" of this
treatment/cure, (that were sent to me privately), because I have wanted to
identify, (at least privately, to me), and contact the doctor in each case who
prescribed this, since it is the doctor's positive opinion that will convince
anyone. Also, identifying the doctor will tend to prevent false and/or
fraudulent reports, either by trolls, or by those profiteers who do not want any
true cure for rosacea to be established.
But in this case, I am making an exception, in order to share with everyone,
some of the useful additions to this treatment/cure, that I believe might be
helpful, and even crucial, to help any rosacean starting this treatment/cure.
I hope this helps.
God Bless,

Subject: Please continue updates privately to me
To: FTU

Hi, FTU,
Hope all is well, with you and yours.
Am very glad to hear from you, and hope that you are willing to continue your
updates to me privately, to:
<fulltruth40@...> (i.e. fulltruth40 @ yahoo.com)
Because I cannot know, on the "web", who is telling the truth, I have to delay
posting your updates, until I can be sure, that you are a "real" person, and not
just someone with those forces that want to stop the establishment of this
treatment/cure for rosacea. At some point, I will need to have full ID info,
(privately), on your doctor.

Please continue your updates, to me privately, so that they can be edited,
(removing your email address, and other ID info, so that you avoid any possible
"hassles"), and posted on the rosacea-cure board later.
Also, I believe I have more info, that may help you. I could prepare some past
emails, of those who have been using this med, and send you a copy, FYI. Please
let me know, if you want to receive this very long compilation, of those emails.

One thing I want to emphasize, is that this med will "fool" you, into applying
it too many times, in the beginning. The peeling can begin even a couple of
days AFTER the application, and the skin can become raw and red, especially if
you rub off the peeling skin too vigorously. Of course, as you know, this med
has no effect whatsoever, on the healthy skin of the face. It is only "hard on"
the rosacea, which makes this med a veritable "smart bomb", against rosacea.
In order to "blend in" the peeling skin, which can be unsightly, I highly
recommend an "anti-inflammatory" cream, the ingredients of which are recommended
by Dr. Perricone. It is called:

Reviva Labs: Alpha-Lipoic-Acid-Vitamin-C-Ester-&-DMAE Cream

This is under $20.00, available only from the Vitamin Shoppe chain of stores, to
my knowledge. These stores are in only 18 states, but they sell through the
web, at:
vitaminshoppe.com
and also through a toll-free phone number, at:

1-800-223-1216

This "anti-inflammatory" cream says on the label to use it at "night time", but
I believe it should also be used in the morning, to help "blend in" whatever
peeling skin may occur, so that it does not show, during the day.
Vitamin Shoppe also sells Dr. Perricone's books.
I highly recommend buying his book, "The Perricone Prescription", and, to the
best of your ability, following his dietary advice, and taking the supplements
that he recommends. It is very easy to do this.
None of the above "additions" are necessary, but I believe they may certainly
help your skin "regenerate" more efficiently, from the temporary peeling and
redness that are part of "killing" this "rosacea causing entity", with
[FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION].
WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
Here is a short explanation, of an often misunderstood part of Dr. Perricone's
book:
Dr. Perricone never discusses "trigger" foods in his book, "The Perricone
Prescription", although he may discuss them privately with you, if you are his
patient. His "no-no" list of foods has been controversial, at times, because of
confusion. He states that, any time you eat, if the result is that your blood
insulin level goes up too much, inflammation/aging is the result. Therefore, any
given food, WHEN EATEN ALONE, has a given glycemic level index, which clarifies
whether or not it is good for you to eat that food BY ITSELF, IN LARGE QUANTITY.
For example, his "no-no" list includes INSTANT COOKING OATMEAL, because it is in
a form that is absorbed too quickly, raising insulin levels too much, but he
states that REGULAR COOKED OATMEAL, is OK, because it is absorbed more slowly in
the stomach. Confusion arises, because his "no-no" list includes things like
bananas and, (God forbid), oranges, but his meaning is that these items are OK
to eat, ONLY IN SMALL QUANTITY, OR MIXED WITH LOW GLYCEMIC INDEX FOODS, which
produces a meal with an overall low glycemic index, which would not raise the
blood insulin level too much.
WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

Also, it is probably very important, whether you are a man or a woman, that you
get a good cover-up makeup, which is most likely some sort of "Mineral Makeup",
as at:
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/message/150>
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/message/151>

My strong advice, is to wait at least one week, after your first application of
the med, to observe the very long lasting effects, of the "killing" of the
"rosacea-causing entity". I believe that the skin takes as much as four to six
weeks, to absolutely return to "normal", after this "killing" takes place, so a
once-a-week application is actually pretty aggressive.
Of course, if you are in any situation where you do not have to go into any
"social setting", for weeks or even months at a time, and you do not care how
"unsightly" the temporary redness and peeling becomes, then you might apply the
med more often.
In my opinion, from a strictly medical viewpoint, the redness and peeling are
quite minor. However, being the "social beings" that we are, these temporary
effects can be quite problematic, and even psychologically devastating.
Therefore, we should be very patient, and yet also persistent, over months of
time, to "kill off" the "rosacea causing entity" 100%, while minimizing the
temporary peeling/redness, by not applying the [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] too
often.
Therefore, I believe it will be very helpful, to blend/minimize the
peeling/redness with the above "anti-inflammatory cream" and to cover the
temporary redness, with some sort of effective makeup.
I never knew about the "Mineral makeup", but I used a "concealer". The best
concealer I know of now, is:
[ALMAY (hypo-allergenic) Skin Smoothing Concealer, with Kinetin]
I think I saw it at a Walgreen's Store.

Well, I hope all this is helpful, as you join those few individuals to ever be
cured of rosacea, in all of the history of mankind.
God Bless,
Dave Fleming

From: FTU
Hello group,
I am trying Dave's treatment, so I thought I could post regular
updates on how it's working. Earlier today, I received the little
bottle with the DMSO Fluconazole that I had ordered a few days ago.
I applied it first on the inside of my arm with a q-tip, as a test,
and there was hardly any reaction. I felt a VERY slight tingling
sensation after I applied it, probable just the liquid being
absorbed or drying. After a couple of hours, a barely noticeable
redness appeared, but it disappeared shortly after. It didn't burn
or anything. A few minutes ago, I applied it on a small part of my
face, about 1 square inch or so (or around 2x2 cm. for those of us
with metric system). As Dave said, it turned red(der) and burned,
but not too much and not for long. It's still irritated and I can
feel something going on, but doesn't it hurt at all. If everything
goes well, I will apply it to my whole face tonight. I will let you
know how I'm doing in a couple of days. Cheers to all!

For Everyone,
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------\
----------
-------------------------------------------------------
In addition to message #181, Yahoo! Company anonymous employees have evidently
now deleted messages #184 and #185, as of 06NOV03, without the knowledge or
consent of myself, Dave Fleming, the rosacea-cure group-owner. The
"Subjects/Headings" of these deleted messages, were, "THE BANNING OF
[FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], "THE BANNING OF [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION],
(revised)", and "HOW TO REPORT ABUSE TO THE YAHOO! COMPANY".
As before, the Yahoo! Company has not explained why they deleted these messages.
They have not told me their interpretations(s), of the Yahoo! Company's Terms Of
Service and/or the Groups Guidelines, as applied to these three deleted
rosacea-cure messages, so I am left without any means of knowing how to avoid
this sort of problem in the future, even if I were to hire many full-time
attorneys.
This also makes it impossible for me to repost these messages, (which contain a
tremendous amount of information), with the necessary editing to know that they
are acceptable to the Yahoo! Company. This is an interesting "method of
deletion", by the Yahoo! Company, which is effectively preventing me from
reposting completely acceptable information, exposing the truth about "THE
BANNING OF [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]". This is a tremendously crucial issue,
because it is very likely, that many more attempts will be made, to discredit
this first-ever treatment/cure for rosacea. Such bannings, lies, and
disinformation must somehow be effectively dealt with, without causing the
Yahoo! Company to delete my posts, and especially without causing the Yahoo!
Company to "Terminate my Yahoo! account", (i.e. delete the rosacea-cure group).
The last message I received from the Yahoo! Company, is copied at the end of
this message, for the information of anyone interested. They seem to be saying
that any action they take is known only to the offending party, but they still
make no attempt to explain why they have not informed me of the reasons for
their deletions of rosacea-cure messages #181, #184, and #185.

Ah, how I wax nostalgic, for the good ol' days, back in May 2003, when the
biggest problem I had, was that no one knew or cared what was on the
rosacea-cure board. Still, I am happy to see that rosacea-cure now has the full
attention of so many folks.

Do I have to take a vacation, so that no one can accuse me of any more
"violations"? At least I do not have to go on "vacation", to escape the
"present environment", (i.e. of the full truth). <g>

As I make this post, on December 3, 2003, there are still those who continue to
receive no punishment or correction, for their violations against rosacea-cure,
[FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], and against Dave Fleming.
This issue is complicated, by the fact that the "rosacea-support group" has two
separate public archives. Message #54015, on the Yahoo! Groups
"rosacea-support" board, has been deleted, but is still publicly posted, in the
e-scribe archive of the "rosacea-support" group, (which is listed on the Yahoo!
Group "rosacea-support" home page, above the "FastCounter"). Since this is a
violation of the Yahoo! Company's TOS and/or Groups Guidelines, we can only ask
why nothing has been done, to stop David Pascoe from maintaining this public
posting of selectively posted lies and disinformation, about me, and about
[FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION].

Also, message #53940, which is full of lies and disinformation, (selectively
posted by David Pascoe), is still present on the Yahoo! Groups "rosacea-support"
board, but has apparently been deleted from the e-scribe archive of the
"rosacea-support" group.
Of course, since the deleted messages were posted for a long time, before they
were deleted, (and are still both publicly posted, in opposite archives, as of
December 3, 2003, the damage done by those lies and disinformation has already
been done, (and continues), and cannot be "undone".

Here are my answers to these publicly posted lies and disinformation, which have
been selectively posted by David Pascoe, group-owner of the "rosacea-support"
group.
The reasons stated in message #53940, (i.e. for why/how I started the
rosacea-cure group), are all lies. Also, this med is not "hard on the skin",
since it is the rosacea, that it is "hard on". My 15+ years of rosacea, being
prescribed Metrogel for most of that time, was not by any stretch of the
imagination, a "misdiagnosed" case. Furthermore, it is not "dumb luck", but
God's grace, (and my hard work), that is giving this cure for rosacea to the
world.
I never "abused" anyone on the rosacea-knowledge board. In fact, the author of
message #54015, (now only in the "rosacea-support" e-scribe archive), abused me,
and then I was banned by the group-owner, Andrew Reid, from "rosacea-knowledge",
because I had the capability to refute the willful disinformation that was put
out by Dr. M. Lazoff, about this treatment/cure, as at:
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/message/96>
Also, I have never used any "pseudonyms". The author of message #54015, (which
is still in the rosacea-support e-scribe archive, under a different number), is
obviously lying, because only law enforcement personnel could possibly
know/prove that such a "pseudonym/false identity" deception had taken place,
even if it had.
I will be busy, trying to find the best way to help the doctors, (who have thus
far prescribed [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] for rosacea), to find the best and most
convenient way, to offer their opinions on this first-ever treatment/cure for
rosacea, in some sort of public forum. This may take a long time.
If the Yahoo! Company does not "Terminate my Yahoo! Account", (i.e. delete the
rosacea-cure group board), perhaps these doctors' opinions will appear first, in
the Yahoo! Groups.
As for any future lies and/or disinformation put out by anyone, I believe they
should be ignored, other than to report them to the Yahoo! Company, as
violations of the Yahoo! Company policies.
Once again, I must thank the Yahoo! Company, for this free Yahoo! Groups
service, and I sincerely hope that they will not feel it necessary to delete any
more rosacea-cure board messages, because, at present, I do not know of any
better means of getting this word out, concerning the first-ever, only
treatment/cure for rosacea.

Dear egroups-feedback,
Thank you for your reply. I believe you have not understood the nature
of the abuse I am reporting to you.
The postings of the rosacea-support group board are open to be read by
any non-member of that group. Therefore, all the objections which I
have raised, concerning the violations of the Yahoo! Company's TOS and
Groups Guidelines, are in effect, by the two messages that the group
owner, David Pascoe, has selectively posted there, (i.e. messages
#53940
and #54015, explained in my first message, below), while refusing to
allow any fair posts or discussion of this matter, for over five
months.
This is a clear violation of the TOS and Guidelines, and should be
enforced by the Yahoo! Company, preferably by the deletion of these two
messages, and by informing David Pascoe that any future such
disinformation will bring disciplinary action by the Yahoo! Company,
against the rosacea-support group, (as explained in-depth, in my first
message to you, below).
It is not my business to enforce the TOS and Guidelines, by contacting
David Pascoe. That is the business of the Yahoo! Company. Since
possible future class-action lawsuits on the behalf of hundreds of
millions of rosaceans may be involved, I thought I was being helpful to
the Yahoo! Company, to point out that your allowing these violations of
the TOS and Guidelines by David Pascoe, will possibly cause the Yahoo!
Company serious problems in the future.
If you do not wish to take action against David Pascoe, that is your
decision. However, I have done my best, to make sure that the Yahoo!
Company understands, that this is no small matter, by any means.
Thank you for any attention you might give, to this matter.
Sincerely,
Dave Fleming

Dear Yahoo! Company,
I am sending this complaint, to try to help the Yahoo! Company to avoid
possible future culpability, in any possible future class-action
lawsuits by rosacea patients, worldwide, and to report abuse.
I am requesting that the Yahoo! Company delete, (i.e. cause to be
deleted), two posts on the rosacea-support board because they violate
the Yahoo! Company's Terms Of Service, and/or Guidelines. Furthermore,
the Yahoo! Company should inform the group-owner, David Pascoe, that
any
further such disinformation attacks against myself and/or this
treatment/cure for rosacea, will bring about disciplinary action by the
Yahoo! Company, against the rosacea-support group, and/or the
termination of David Pascoe's Yahoo Account(s).
Given the fact that the rosacea-support Moderators have
banned/Moderated
any open discussion of the [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] treatment/cure for
rosacea, (during the past five months, and at present), these two posts
are abusive harassment, and willful disinformation, towards both Dave
Fleming, and towards this [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] treatment/cure for
rosacea. There may be other parts of the Yahoo! Company's TOS and/or
Groups Guidelines, that the posting of these two messages by
rosacea-support Moderators may violate.
Using words from the Yahoo! Company Terms Of Service, within the
context
of David Pascoe's banning/Moderating of any fair discussion of this
[FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] treatment/cure for rosacea, for over five
months, David Pascoe's selective posting of these two messages is:
harmful,..., abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory,...,
libelous,...,
hateful,...(and) otherwise objectionable...
The selective posting of these two posts by David Pascoe also violates
point #1, of the Yahoo! Company Guidelines, as per:
1) You may not harass, abuse...other members or individuals or groups.
The reasons stated in message #53940, (i.e. for why/how I started the
rosacea-cure group), are all lies. Also, this med is not "hard on the
skin", since it is the rosacea, that it is "hard on". My 15+ years of
rosacea, being prescribed Metrogel for most of that time, was not by
any
stretch of the imagination, a "misdiagnosed" case. Furthermore, it is
not "dumb luck", but God's grace, (and my hard work), that is giving
this cure for rosacea to the world.
I never "abused" anyone on the rosacea-knowledge board. In fact, the
author of message #54015 abused me, and then I was banned by the
group-owner, Andrew Reid, from rosacea-knowledge, because I had the
capability to refute the willful disinformation that was put out by Dr.
M. Lazoff, about this treatment/cure.
Also, I have never used any "pseudonyms". The author of message #54015
is obviously lying, because only law enforcement personnel could
possibly know/prove that such a "pseudonym/false identity" deception
had
taken place, even if it had.
These violating, offensive posts/messages are:
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-support/message/53940>
and
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-support/message/54015>
Since anonymous employees of the Yahoo! Company recently deleted
message
#181, from the rosacea-cure group board, without the knowledge or
consent of the rosacea-cure owner, (i.e. myself, Dave Fleming), I
believe that the Yahoo! Company has opened itself to possible
culpability in possible future class-action lawsuits, against those who
have willfully suppressed any news or open discussion of this
first-ever
treatment/cure for rosacea.
Therefore, it is most important, in my opinion, that the Yahoo! Company
sternly warn David Pascoe, that this behavior, of allowing negative,
untrue posts about Dave Fleming and/or this [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]
treatment/cure for rosacea, while disallowing any positive posts or
discussion of this treatment/cure, will cause disciplinary action to be
taken against David Pascoe, by the Yahoo! Company, and/or the
termination of David Pascoe's Account(s), with the Yahoo! Company. If
the Yahoo! Company takes this action, it may help to protect the Yahoo!
Company, if and when any future class-action lawsuits are placed, in
the
name of hundreds of millions of rosacea patients, worldwide.
I would like to emphasize, that I am most happy to have the wonderful
opportunity to tell the world of rosacea patients about this new,
effective, first-ever treatment/cure for rosacea, through my account
with the Yahoo! Company, and through the free service of the Yahoo!
Groups. I am sorry that this unfortunate incident has occurred, and I
hope to prevent any problems, in the future, by taking this action now.

For Everyone, -------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------
Evidently, anonymous employees at the Yahoo! Company have violated the sanctity
of the rosacea-cure group, by deleting message #181, without my knowledge or
consent.
I am devastated. As group-owner of the rosacea-cure group, as at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/
it is astounding to me, that the Yahoo! Company would act in such a summary
manner, without ever stating to me specifically what I am accused of, or who has
accused me.
I am only thankful, that my Yahoo! account has not been "Terminated", to use the
language of the Yahoo! Company's communications to me, (as copied below).
Because I am thankful to the Yahoo! Company, for supplying the free service that
has made the rosacea-cure group possible, I am making this public statement, to
try to clarify this issue. It is a simple fact, that anonymous employees of the
Yahoo! Company have made this deletion of rosacea-cure message #181, without
informing me of their actions, which, in my considered opinion, is a very
one-sided action, and is therefore very unfair.
This means that the Yahoo! Company may now be subject to being included as
defendants, in any possible future class-action lawsuits, against those who have
intentionally suppressed the news of this first-ever treatment/cure for rosacea.
This is something I would have certainly worked to prevent, if the Yahoo!
Company had given me any means of understanding and correcting any statements
they might think were wrongful.
I am not trained as an attorney, but it is clear to me, that when hundreds of
millions of rosacea patients are caused unnecessary, prolonged suffering, (in
some cases, even leading to suicide), all the disclaimers of liability in the
world, as contained in the Yahoo! Company Terms Of Service and/or the Groups
Guidelines, cannot exclude the Yahoo! Company from such liability, in many
courts of law, worldwide.
I am hereby making a public request, to those anonymous employees at the Yahoo!
Company who deleted message #181, from the rosacea-cure board, to please delete
the two messages of disinformation posted on the rosacea-support group board,
which forced me to finally tell the full truth, about those who have been
suppressing the news of this first-ever treatment/cure for rosacea. Those
messages are:
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-support/message/53940>
and
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-support/message/54015>
Using words from the Yahoo! Company's Terms Of Service, within the context of
David Pascoe's banning/Moderating of any fair discussion of this [FLUCONAZOLE 1%
SOLUTION] treatment/cure for rosacea, for over five months, David Pascoe's
selective posting of these two posts is:
harmful,..., abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory,..., libelous,...,
hateful,...(and) otherwise objectionable...
The selective posting of these two posts by David Pascoe also violates point #1,
of the Yahoo! Groups Guidelines, as per:
1) You may not harass, abuse...other members or individuals or groups.

I am also making a public request, to the Yahoo! Company, that no Yahoo! group
be allowed to post disinformation about this first-ever treatment/cure for
rosacea, known as "DMSO-fluconazole/Diflucan", or as "fluconazole 1%", or as
"[FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], or by any similar name.

If the Yahoo! Company allows the rosacea-support group, (as at:
<)">http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-support/>)
to continue to post disinformation about this first-ever treatment/cure for
rosacea, (or about Dave Fleming), while this group continues to suppress any
open discussion, concerning the truth of this issue, then the Yahoo! Company
will be publicly perceived to be one-sided in this matter. I am trying to help
prevent that possibility. Only time will tell, as to what the final outcome of
this situation will be.

Perhaps it will be the "Termination" of my Yahoo! account, (i.e. the deletion of
the rosacea-cure group). I hope not. But according to the three official
communication(s) I have received from the Yahoo! Company, (as copied below), the
rosacea-cure group could now be deleted at any time, without warning, and
without any semblance of fairness.

I will be posting an edited version of the deleted message #181, hopefully
without the material that the Yahoo! Company considered so offensive, as to take
this unbelievable action, to summarily delete it, giving me no means of pleading
my case in this issue, and certainly no means of preventing any accusation
against me in the future.
I will be thankful to the Yahoo! Company, for any care and consideration they
may show, to the rosacea-cure group, as time passes. I have never sought to be
abrasive, but only persistent, and certainly willing to state the full truth, in
this matter. I am more than willing, to correct any mistakes I make, but the
Yahoo! Company has, to date, given me absolutely no means of doing this, or even
of "pleading my case", given the fact, that I still do not know what I am
accused of, or how to change it.
The mysterious deletion of this message, (i.e. #181), is all I have to go on.
For all I know, other actions may have been taken by the Yahoo! Company, (e.g.
other rosacea-cure messages deleted), that I have not yet detected. I can only
repeat, that it is astounding to me, that the Yahoo! Company made such a
deletion, without contacting me, to clarify what they have done, and why.
Once again, I must state my thanks to all the members of rosacea-cure, for your
care and support, and to all those who have helped this cause, in so many ways.
If this rosacea-cure group were to be deleted by the Yahoo! Company, it would be
the biggest miscarriage of justice I could imagine, but that deletion could be
very close, from what the Yahoo! Company has communicated to me, (as copied
below).
THEREFORE, I AM ASKING ROSACEA-CURE MEMBERS, AND ANY CONCERNED INDIVIDUALS, TO
COPY AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, FROM THE ROSACEA-CURE BOARD.
To anyone reading this, I ask that you please carry on this battle, to get the
truth out about this treatment/cure, if this rosacea-cure group is deleted by
the Yahoo! Company, at any time in the future.
God Bless,

URGENT MESSAGE OF POSSIBLE DELETION OF ROSACEA-CURE
-------------------------------------------------

The message copied below arrived on Friday, 24 OCT 03, one day after my posting
of the truth about the BANNING OF [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]. I did not expect
the "dirty tricks" to be quite this obvious, but here it is.

I hope this message is fraudulent, and I have sent an inquiry to Yahoo!,
concerning whether this message is actually from Yahoo!, or is a fake message.
Since rosacea-support is a paying customer of Yahoo!, and Dave Fleming is not, I
am assuming that some insider at Yahoo! could indeed be responsible for this
"anonymous" message. Time will tell.

This message states clearly, that Yahoo! is prepared to delete, (i.e.
"terminate"), this rosacea-cure group, even on the basis of Yahoo's BELIEF that
I, Dave Fleming, may have broken the Yahoo! Terms of Service in some way, (i.e.
if anonymous persons at Yahoo!, "believe that such use violates the TOS, then we
may terminate your account without further notice.")

THEREFORE, I AM ENCOURAGING ANYONE READING THIS POST, TO COPY AS MANY MESSAGES
AS POSSIBLE, FROM THE ROSACEA-CURE BOARD, because this rosacea-cure group site
could be deleted by Yahoo! at any time in the future, without notice, and
without any proof that I have violated the Yahoo! Terms Of Service in any way.

I can only hope that the Yahoo! owners would prevent such a miscarriage of
justice, but there is every reason to believe that the accusers in this matter
could be claiming ANYTHING, and could get away with it.
If Yahoo! deletes this rosacea-cure group, I want to take this opportunity to
thank all rosacea-cure members, for your care and support. I also want to
thank all those others, who have helped in any way to spread the word, about
this first-ever treatment/cure for rosacea. I hope that each person who knows
about this claim for the first-ever effective treatment/cure for rosacea, finds
methods to spread this word, to all rosaceans.

Hi, JN,
Your plight seems quite real. I've never experienced flushing, or even much
blushing, but I am in love with an explanation offered by a Dr. Marjorie Lazoff,
concerning the relationship, between flushing and rosacea. I have serious
differences with Dr. Lazoff, but in this case, I recommend her explanation,
because it bolsters my "hypothesis", about what causes rosacea.

It is really fascinating, in that she points out, that basically, everyone
"blushes/flushes", to some degree, as a normal, everyday event. In a rather
unorthodox, and long, (but quite clear, to the "layman"), explanation, she
points out that rosacea, (whatever it is), complicates, exacerbates, and
increases flushing, beyond "normal" limits. Personally, I have come to the
belief that rosacea is probably caused by a stealthy, deeply imbedded/rooted
fungal infestation, which is extremely slow growing, and, once it is
"established" in the skin, causes all kinds of "cascade effects" related to our
immune system, and other effects, which are affected/caused indirectly, by all
kinds of "triggers".

So, the battle is to cure the CAUSE of the rosacea, and then, the flushing
should return to "normal" parameters/limits.
I will tell you about that, in a private post, since I am not allowed to do so
in more than 25 words plus a URL, here on the "rosaceans" board. So, here is
the URL, of Dr. Lazoff's answer, to Brady Barrows' very astute question,
concerning the "difference" between flushing and rosacea:

<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-knowledge/message/2615>

Dr. Lazoff more recently posted an answer to a question, asking how we rosaceans
might be able to tell the difference, between acne and rosacea, on our own face.
Amazingly enough, she states that almost everyone has acne, at some time or
other, because the skin is simply not efficient enough to avoid it.

Although Dr. Lazoff's answer is again unorthodox, concise, and long, and appears
well suited to the "layman's" understanding, the final truth, is that the
possible "interactive cascade effects" involved, make it impossible, even for a
trained dermatologist, to tell the difference between acne and rosacea, without:
1) knowing our "patient's history"; (however one might define "history", is not
explained clearly), as well as a "constellation" of other knowledge,
2) excluding other myriad possible causes for the skin condition, and
3) "experimenting" with remedies, both oral and topical, and "seeing/watching
what happens".
She very helpfully emphasizes the obvious, that rosacea is, (i.e. is caused by),
an underlying, "sterile" inflammation, (of unknown/undetermined cause), while
acne is caused by bacteria, and characterized by the presence of blackheads and
whiteheads. Again, I highly recommend the accuracy of her statement, because it
bolsters my "hypothesis", that it is possible to attack and destroy the CAUSE of
this "underlying sterile inflammation", which is probably fungal in nature. Her
statement is at:

<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-knowledge/message/2977>

You can also see, at the end of this message by Dr. Lazoff, that she is a
"master troll". She claims that she has removed a "hidden agenda", by admitting
it exists, (which does not remove the agenda). She also conveniently "forgets"
to admit, that she is employed by the company whose products she is
"recommending". She also "takes a swipe at" Brady Barrows, as any master troll
would do, accusing others, to try to make it seem as if everyone is motivated in
the same way she is.
Brady Barrows' answer to her, is at:

<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-knowledge/message/2983>

My opinion, from my five-month's experience with her actions towards me, is that
she is a "master troll", extremely adept at manipulating the "Internet truth",
and Dr. Lazoff's motivations, are:
1) Profit,
2) To Receive Love,
3) To Help/Love Rosaceans,
in that order of importance. Sadly enough, I do not expect her to reverse that
order of importance of her motivations, any time soon. However, I do believe
she is a treasure trove, of clearly stated facts, concerning your problem with
flushing.
God Bless,
Dave Fleming

Subject: [rosaceans] Flushing & Blushing new member...

Hi, I am new and am just beginning to realize that what I've been suffering
from is ROSACEA! I have a very inept dermotologist who I am not going to go
back and see because I am certain he is mis-diagnosing me. I have many of
the symptoms of moderate (progressive) rosacea. It all started with the
flushing, I've been flushing at the drop of a hat for years (since I was little)
and
it was usually pretty predictable, social situations, alcohol brought it on, hot
foods, etc. It has gotten worse and worse and worse to the point where now I
flush for no reason at all and I have no control over it. It's a hot feeling
blotchy
rash that starts out with red blotches on my neck and chest and moves up to
my jawline and cheeks and all around my mouth and chin and I turn bright
pink. It usually lasts about 1/2 hour then goes away. usually my skin feels hot
and windburn for a long time and I can literally FEEL myself blushing.
Sometimes, lately though, I feel totally fine and I'll look in the mirror and
I'm all
blotchy for no reason too. This flushing is now happening to me EVERY time I
eat, or even talk to another human being (besides my husband and kids
whom I live with). It has nothing to do with being embarassed by something --
I just constantly flush. I've noticed I flush anytime I have to go out in public
and
do anything, if I have a coat covering my chest or neck the minute I remove it
I'm flushed there where it was. I don't have time to read every single post on
this board but I am skimming for flushing related headlines. Is there anyone
else here that has this problem with their rosacea and if so HOW DO YOU
CONTROL IT??? PLEASE TELL ME! I never used to be this way, this bad! I
have very many broken capalaries all over my face now and quite often red
splotchy areas from where pimples were that won't go away. I also have the
nodules/pustules described as a symptom especially on my hairline and
forehead area. I also have acne which I think is aggravated by the rosacea or
the rosacea is aggravated by the acne! I take Bactirum for the acne but it does
nothing for the rosacea. My doctor tends to NOT believe me and tells me there
is nothing at all he can do for my flushing, "it's a condition some people have
and they don't know why or how to treat it" I've learned so much just reading
various rosacea sites and that's how I happened to be here. SORRY - I'll
never post this long of a note again, but being new I had to explain myself.
THANK YOU

URGENT MESSAGE FOR ALL ROSACEA-CURE MEMBERS

It has come to my attention, that public questions are being posted on the
rosacea-support board, seeking "anyone" to answer, concerning "fluconazole 1%".
Since posts about this treatment/cure have been banned from that board, for the
last six months, there is a 99.99% chance that such posts are bogus, calculated
to find out who rosacea-cure members are, (i.e. what your email address is).

I have very good reason to believe that rosacea-support employs hired
"hackers/crackers", who can deal a deathblow to your computer system, with newly
created viruses, "DOS attacks", and other high-end, cutting edge
"cyber-weapons". Such big money is being made in the rosacea market, that it is
only logical, that this kind of tactic would be attempted, to try to stop the
establishment of a first-ever cure for rosacea such as [FLUCONAZOLE 1%
SOLUTION]. It has indeed been repeatedly attempted, on me.

Also, a simple search at Google for "fluconazole 1%", or similar searches, will
give the "seeker" access to the rosacea-cure board home page, so there is no
logical reason for these "inquiries" on the rosacea-support board, other than
those with a hidden, (and most likely dangerous), motive.

Therefore, I am strongly recommending that you do NOT respond to such
"questions", which are supposedly seeking "information", whether they are on the
rosacea-support board, or elsewhere. If you do, my strong opinion is that you
will be putting your "cyber life" in great jeopardy. This attack could come
immediately, or many months later.

The only way I can suggest dealing with this, is if you create a separate "new
identity account", at one of the free email services, like Yahoo! or Hotmail,
use it once, and NEVER USE IT AGAIN. But I am no "wiz kid" at this, so I could
even be wrong about this.

If you absolutely feel the need to communicate with any unknown person on this
subject, please send your email to me, and I will relay it to them. Since I
have found ways to "survive" these attacks so far, I should be able to do this
with no ill effects. Please believe me, any "normal" computer system cannot
survive these attacks. Email to me goes to:
<fulltruth40 @ yahoo.com>
or:
<rosacea-cure-owner@yahoogroups.com>

Thank you for your understanding, as we are just beginning to establish this
treatment/cure. I thank you for your membership, and I would like you to be
among the first to be cured of your rosacea, without the unnecessary hassle of
any computer system problems, caused by those misguided few, who have already
lost this war, concerning the establishment of this [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]
treatment/cure, worldwide. This is truly an inspiring, historic time, for all
those rosaceans discovering this treatment/cure.
God Bless,
Dave Fleming

For Everyone,
Those rosaceans who have the symptom of "flushing", can rest assured that they
can be cured of their rosacea, even though I never had that symptom. The
following exchange should put any doubts about this to rest, for good.
God Bless,
Dave Fleming

Hi, FQG,
Many have asked me questions pertaining to "flushing", because they feel that
this treatment/cure may not help them, since I never had any
"hot-flash-flushing". At first, a few months ago, I must admit I did not
understand how to answer this question, except to say that [FLUCONAZOLE 1%
SOLUTION] is an extremely benign, (i.e. harmless), med, and every rosacean
should try it, to make sure, as to whether it helps them or not. Since this med
has virtually no effect on healthy skin, no harm can come from trying it one
time, applied with a q-tip.
Now, finally, I have found a clear, concise, (even though a bit long),
explanation of the relationship of blushing/flushing, and rosacea. It has come
from, (of all people), Dr. Marjorie Lazoff, who has been a devoted nemesis and
devil of disinformation, concerning this treatment/cure with [FLUCONAZOLE 1%
SOLUTION], as per:

<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/message/46>

<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/message/96>

But if truth be known, I admire Dr. Lazoff's wealth of knowledge and capability,
(Solvent/Soilent Green mistakes notwithstanding), even though she has tragically
and mistakenly presumed to attack the first-ever valid treatment/cure for
rosacea. Poor Monkey Marjorie.... But I digress.

Through John Forsythe's diligent efforts, Dr. Lazoff's explanation, concerning
the relationship of blushing/flushing and rosacea, is at:

<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/message/158>

<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-knowledge/message/2615>

Her explanation should finally put to rest, any doubts anyone might have, that
any rosacean who "flushes", (as I never did), can be cured by using [FLUCONAZOLE
1% SOLUTION]. She explains that blushing/flushing is separate from rosacea, and
only becomes involved with rosacea symptoms because rosacea complicates and
increases the seriousness of what would otherwise be normal "blushing".

This unorthodox but clear explanation by Dr. Lazoff, is a major breakthrough for
me, in offering this [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] treatment/cure to ALL rosaceans,
both those who are without the symptom of "flushing", and those with it.

Either I have no shame, or I have nothing to be ashamed about, because I cannot
remember the last time I blushed. But I can now say, with clarity and
authority, that you rosaceans who blush/flush, can be cured of your rosacea,
using the treatment/cure of [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]. Amen, and Amen.
God Bless,
Dave Fleming

For Everyone,
There is not much new information in this post, for rosacea-cure members, but it
is an interesting exchange, because it shows how entrenched old thinking can be,
concerning the possibility of a true cure for rosacea.
This email exchange is in reverse chronological order, so it is suggested that
you read the messages from bottom to top of this post.

Dave Fleming wrote:
Hi, CAN,
Well, CAN, that's my whole point, concerning getting you to "see the light". As
rosaceans, we have all been "brainwashed", to believe that rosacea is such a
tangled mass/mess of differing and confusing symptoms, "triggers" and
uncurableness, that we tend to have the belief you have stated here, that we're
all "on our own".
My viewpoint, created by the realization that one "root cause" is capable of
causing all these differing, confusing symptoms in different rosaceans, is that
your rosacea will be CURED by the use of [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], and in NO
OTHER WAY. This realization has come to me slowly, over a period of about two
years now, from the time I first applied this med to my skin/face, through
EXPERIENCE with this med.

My EXPERIENCE has proven to me, that any "stopgap" method we use, of
"controlling", or "suppressing" rosacea symptoms, either causes a whole lot of
horrendous side effects, or allows the rosacea symptoms to reappear all the
time, which of course assures a very lucrative income to companies such as
Rosacea-Ltd.

When a true cure appears on the scene, such as this treatment/cure with
[FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], it takes a lot of integrity, for someone making money
from the suffering of rosaceans, to advocate the end of all that profit. It
also puts you, CAN, into the uncomfortable position of either re-examining all
you believe about rosacea, or rejecting any cure for rosacea, out of hand. You
are simply mistaken, in the opinion you have expressed here, that "success"
consists of suppressing symptoms, when we both know that real "success" is to
cure this disease, if that cure exists and has been discovered. IT DOES EXIST,
AND IT HAS BEEN DISCOVERED.

I appreciate the "peace pipe" you have handed me, to "agree to disagree". You
can either be among the first to be cured, or among the last, (puff, puff). And
companies such as Rosacea-Ltd had better start looking for other means of
income, because their sales, to rosaceans, are coming to an end. This is not a
vicious statement. It is one of pure joy, and gratefulness to God. Would that
you and Ralph Bass could share these feelings and gratefulness with me.
God Bless,
Dave Fleming

Hi, CAN,
I didn't realize I appeared vicious, in my attitude about Ralph Bass. I was
just voicing my disappointment, that anyone would so easily ignore the
first-ever cure for rosacea, and continue "helping" rosaceans with stop-gap
products, at the price of prolonging the suffering of all rosaceans.
To me, it is quite vicious, to ignore this treatment/cure, [FLUCONAZOLE 1%
SOLUTION], and just go on like nothing has happened, talking about ways of
"controlling" rosacea symptoms. That is what you were doing, even though you
might not realize it.

I admit, that I thought this first-ever cure for rosacea would simply be tried,
and investigated completely, the moment I "announced" it, way back in April
2003. Instead, I have been under heavy attack, and have spent much of my life
defending and explaining this first-ever cure for rosacea, without any benefit
to myself, other than the satisfaction, that all rosaceans will be cured of
their rosacea, because God has blessed us with this first-ever cure. So, I am
admitting to you, that I am a bit impatient, after five months of this
"unnecessary" delay. I apologize, if I was out of line, but I have shed many
tears over this delay, and I am just one small person, fighting the
status-quo-itis that is delaying the establishment of this first-ever cure.

I certainly cannot blame all this delay on Ralph Bass. I was just trying to be
factual. I was especially referred to him, and I had high hopes, that someone
with his influence, might actually care enough about the suffering of rosaceans,
to speed up the establishment of this cure.

I pleaded very hard with Mr. Bass, to help in any way he could to speed up the
establishment of this cure. He chose instead, to ignore this issue. He has
that right. But I don't have to like it. Who knows, maybe he'll change his
mind.

To you, CAN, I can only say that I know/believe that this med will end your
rosacea. Because of that, and because of your seemingly smug statement, that
your skin condition has "improved" without this med, I can only feel sympathy
for you. I hope you "see the light" soon. I'm doing my best, to help you and
every rosacean do so. This is not "my" cure. Unlike Mr. Bass, I made no
attempt to patent this knowledge, and make money from it. I welcome the work of
anyone who wants to make money from the establishment of this treatment/cure, as
long as it speeds up reaching every rosacean with this.
God Bless,
Dave Fleming

Why do attack this company in particular? I've read a lot of your

Hi, Barb,
I must admit, I am ignorant of the technicalities of the laws that may apply to
getting prescription items from overseas. The source mentioned in message # 169
is in California. A prescription is required for [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], but
since Internet or Phone "Consults" are valid, legally, as prescriptions, no
PRIOR prescription is required.

This California Internet source for [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] is the only one
that exists, to my knowledge, (at this time), anywhere in the world. I have
talked with them many times, on the phone, and they seem like a highly reputable
and reliable source. I believe they must be receiving/shipping this med from a
reputable Compounding Pharmacist.

This med is very easy to create, as at:
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/message/170>
So the lack of sources for it simply means that a high demand for it has not
been established yet. I expect that more sources of "Internet Consult"
[FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] will become available, as time goes on, since USA MDs
seem to be creating a "logjam", with their uncaring, heartless refusal to
prescribe this for rosacea.

We will have to be very careful, to only get this from reputable sources, since
it might be easy to ship "fake" med, from an Internet source, and it would be
very difficult/impossible for most people, to analyse what they receive, to make
sure it is the correct med. A person might be more certain, if they mixed their
own med at home, although this may technically be illegal to do.

Since all rosacea is in a different "stage of development", I cannot claim that
everyone's experience will be identical to mine, concerning how long it would
take to "clear it up". The one rule that I believe applies to everyone, is that
the "refractory" period, between applications of this med, should probably be
substantial, (i.e. a week to a month, or more), so that the skin will have time
to regenerate healthy skin, to replace that "rosacea diseased skin" which is
affected by the treatment.

As for how long the rosacea stays away, this is also a much more complex answer,
than would appear at first glance. For me, it has been more than a year, since
I had any rosacea symptoms, after more than 15 years of progressively worse
rosacea. I applied this med in January, 2003, but only as a test, to see if
there was any "reaction". There was none, and I satisfied myself, that the
rosacea was not "returning".

From my experience with this med, I have come to the very strong opinion, that
the "rosacea causing entity" most likely establishes itself for years, in the
skin, BEFORE any rosacea symptoms appear. Therefore, once you "kill it off", it
would be at least years, before the symptoms could return. Every day that
passes, with no rosacea symptoms returning to my face, makes me more and more
confident, about my belief/knowledge of this.

One complex issue, is that rosaceans who get rid of 90% of their symptoms, might
not follow up as they should, to "kill off" the cause of the rosacea COMPLETELY.
In that case, that "remnant" of the "rosacea causing entity" might "grow back"
within months, (or within a year or two) , rather than be gone forever.

There is also the possibility, that rosaceans might do well to apply this med
every few years, to make sure they had not come into contact with any source of
"re-infection", which might restart the rosacea, just as one might get any
disease that has been cured, by being "infected" again.

You ask very good/difficult questions, Barb. I hope these answers help everyone.
Anyone with questions, should check all the facts, at:
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/>
God Bless,
Dave Fleming

Is this a 'compounded solution', from a
compounding pharmacy, not already prepackaged

You mentioned nail fungus but how long to clear
up rosacea and how long does it stay away?
Thanks, barb

Hi, ADU-2,
Thanks very much for your interest.
Your questions about this treatment/cure are covered in message #2, and in other
older posts. Also, one of the most recent posts talks about this. You would do
well to study the most recent messages #168 through #173.

Since all rosaceans are at different stages of rosacea, I expect that the time
intervals involved may vary considerably from my own. One rule that seems
constant, is that it takes considerable time for the skin to "grow back
healthy", between applications of this med, so patience and persistence are
integral parts of this treatment/cure with [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]. My firm
belief, is that any rosacean applying this med to their whole face, will be rid
of 90% of their rosacea symptoms within a month or two, especially if they have
pustules, as I had.

Like everyone else with rosacea, I had long ago given up on knowing any cure for
rosacea. This discovery was like a bolt out of the blue, since I was not
seeking a cure for rosacea. By treating my left hand, I learned how this med
worked, leaving healthy skin alone, but causing profound changes and healing in
diseased skin. This took a number of weeks. Sometime during this time, perhaps
out of curiosity one day, (I honestly do not remember how it occurred), I
touched my nose with some of this med, and discovered that it "reacted", rather
than leaving the skin alone, so, I proceeded, with great determination, to apply
this to my face, with the firm belief that this was "attacking" the rosacea in
some way. It took 18 months, before I finally was able to "get online",
absolutely convinced that other rosaceans would get these same curative results,
using this med. I still do not know for sure that rosacea is caused by any
fungal entity. I do know, that no one has to know how/why
this med cures rosacea, for it to cure your rosacea.

As for other rosacea-cure members' results with this med, I have been forced to
choose a policy of confidentiality about this, for many reasons. You have to be
aware, that there are monumental forces, that do not want any cure for rosacea
to exist, because they will lose so much money/profit, both now, and during the
next 100 years. These forces are capable of any deception, any dirty tricks,
any "cyber-attacks", any actions at all, in order to keep this treatment/cure
from being established.

Furthermore, I believe you are very incorrect, when you say that you need to
know others' results, before knowing it would be good to try this
treatment/cure. It is well proven, in the posts at rosacea-cure, that this is
an absolutely benign med, as it is used for this treatment/cure. The worst
that could happen to any rosacean, applying this one time with a q-tip, is that
they would get no results. So, you have nothing to lose, and everything to
gain, by trying this med. Of course, if possible, it is always best, to have an
MD witness and guide your treatment/cure. Also, you might first try this on
perhaps the inside of your arm, to test for the possibility of the extremely
rare "allergic reaction".

When enough doctors have prescribed this med for rosacea, and enough of these
doctors are willing to "go public", then we should be able to make the resulting
testimonials public, with positive, assured success in establishing this med as
a treatment/cure for rosacea. Until that day, I am very concerned, that some of
the positive testimonials that exist at this time, may be paid liars who will
try at some point to claim that this treatment/cure harmed them in some way. I
would rather not give too much power, to such possible attempts to deceive.

My strong belief, is that a very strong case has been made, in the posts at
rosacea-cure, to convince all rosaceans that they should try [FLUCONAZOLE 1%
SOLUTION] for their rosacea, even without many testimonials. If you were in my
position, how many doctors' positive testimonials would you require, to assure
success in establishing this treatment/cure for rosacea? If you were a doctor,
pioneering this treatment/cure for rosacea, how many other doctors would you
want to stand with you, so that you could not be accused of being a "quack"?

From what I can tell, you have not taken the time to study the posts at
rosacea-cure. I believe that that study would serve to convince you to obtain
and try this med.

I wish that we already had enough testimonials by doctors, to convince you to
try this med. If that is what you are waiting for, you may have a long wait,
especially in the USA. At present, I consider the reluctance of USA MDs to
prescribe [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] for rosacea, to be a horrendous commentary,
against the integrity and "heartistic care", of the USA medical establishment.
Corruption and lack of "heart", may prove to be the rule, rather than the
exception, concerning American MDs prescribing [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] for
rosacea. Only time will tell.

God Bless,

Just curious to know how long before the treatment starts to work.
You metion the skin peels and the redness recedes. How long does each
skin peel/skin regeneration phase take and do you see an immediate
improvement.

Also, as this treatment would appear to imply Rosacea is fungaldid
you experiment with other treatments ie those for tinea like lamsil
which are readily available over the shelf.

Finally, I would like to know whether any of the other members of
this group have yet commenced David's treatment and if so, perhaps
they could let us all know what their findings have been. Certainly
we need to know who has experienced success using this treatment,
other than David.

Hi, UKG,
Am really happy to hear you can get hold of this med, as per messages #169 and
#170 on the rosacea-cure board. That in itself is a huge success, for the
establishment of this treatment/cure.
I understand your uncertainty. At the same time, I have typed 'til I'm blue in
the face, claiming that [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] is quite benign, even though
it does cause such a profound "healing reaction" with rosacea-diseased skin.
Since many, (if not most), of all those with rosacea have never "flushed", that
factor does not seem to be valid to me, in considering a cure for rosacea.
Normal blushing, (experienced by everyone), seems to get involved, (and
increased, and complicated), with rosacea, (becoming "flushing"), but it is just
a side issue, in my opinion, concerning this cure for rosacea.
The bottom line, to me, is that applying this med one time can do no harm, so
every rosacean should do so, even on the slightest chance that thay will find
out that this med can rid them of rosacea for the rest of their life.

As strange as it may sound to you, I do not believe that rosacea is "diverse".
Only the rosacea symptoms are "diverse". In other words, if there is one root
cause for rosacea, and if this med effectively deals with that cause directly,
for the first time in history, then all the confusion about differing symptoms
will quickly be dissipated by the curative results rosaceans get, when they use
this med. If it turns out that you have a separate "flushing disease", (which I
seriously doubt), then it will have to be given a new name, since all rosacea
will have been cured.

Another thing that may sound strange to you, is that I do not believe that this
is an "unconventional" treatment/cure. [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] has an
unblemished five year track record, being prescribed for use on the skin of the
fingers and toes, with no complaints of any significant effects or side effects.
Making the jump to using it for rosacea, is hardly unconventional. I'm sure
that when penicillin was first used, no one even dreamed of all the ways it
would be effectively used. The FDA accepts as completely valid and viable, any
use prescribed by any MD, of any established medication, (such as [FLUCONAZOLE
1% SOLUTION]), for a "new indication", (such as rosacea).

So, I don't think you need "guts" to try this med. I think you just need to be
more completely informed, and come to the realization that this med is the only
true cure for rosacea in existence. Sharing specific cure experiences may have
its place, but I disagree with you, that that is what will establish this
treatment/cure. Since everyone has such different symptoms, your reservations
about others being cured "differently" than what you "need", would always stand
in the way. I believe that sheer numbers of cures, is the only way this cure
will be established. So we do have a "Which comes first, the chicken or the
egg?", situation. But ready availability of this med is the first step, to
bring about those huge numbers of positive cure testimonials.

The one thing that has not happened yet, which I expect to happen, is that there
will be false claims that some harm was done by this med. Here again, the only
thing that will overcome such liars, will be huge numbers of cures. How long
will this take? I hate to guess, since every day of delay means so much
unnecessary suffering by rosaceans. But to me, victory in the establishment of
this cure is already assured. Enough information has been circulated about
this, and Google is giving so many "hits" on it now, that it is just a matter of
time, until rosaceans in large numbers try this med, and are amazed by getting
rid of their rosacea, as I was.

So, my final word for you in this email, UKG, is that you have nothing to lose,
and everything to gain, by trying this treatment/cure with [FLUCONAZOLE 1%
SOLUTION]. I hope that you can come to that conclusion, as well, and the sooner
the better, for all concerned.

God Bless,
Dave Fleming

HI dave, Hope you're doing ok.
I've thought a lot about undergoing this treatment and although I haven't
yet been able to get a prescription for it, I am confident I could get hold
of it if i wanted to. However, I'm just not sure that the symptoms I
experiance daily are similar to those you described which have now been
cured. I 've seen the posts from the two cases posted on your group and in
the rosacea support group, but they don't really detail the progress made
and the syptoms they are suffering.

I know rosacea is such a diverse disease and I probabley couldn't find another
sufferer with exactly the same condition as me, but I don't think I can go ahead
with an unconventional treatment like this without reading more testemonial that
I can relate to.
Flushing is definatley a big part of my disease. I rarely get papules at this
stage, and I have never had pustules, only acne.

Perhaps if you could post me some reports from sufferers that have tried
this treatment, there must be people with more guts that me, and I think
sharing experiances is the only way this treatment is going to become more
supported.

Thanks
UKG

Hi, IMT,
I certainly appreciate your anxiousness for results. The most important part of
curing your rosacea with [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], however, is patience, and
persistence. I wish it were an "overnight" cure, but it isn't. I simply had to
concentrate on being grateful to God, that a cure for rosacea could exist at
all, and then I could be more grateful than impatient. I am impatient by
nature, so I believe that fact, and my ignorance of how this cure "works",
caused me to apply this med too often, in the beginning. One can wait for two
or more weeks, between applications of this med, for healthy skin to replace the
"dead rosacea skin". And then, one must apply the med again. After a few
cycles of this, it becomes quite clear, that the rosacea is not coming back any
time soon, even though it may take much long-term patience and persistence to
"kill" it completely.
I must admit my complete ignorance, concerning the effects of IPL treatment. My
impression, however, is that it can do a lot of damage to the skin, and takes a
long time to "heal", after treatments. If that is the case, I definitely
recommend that you not combine the IPL with the [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]
treatment. One reason I say this, is that I am biased against the IPL, since I
do not consider it as a "cure" for rosacea. If the real cure for rosacea
exists, why would one want to mess around with something that is not a cure? I
do understand, however, that the "band aid" IPL may be quicker. I just do not
know. But you have my opinion, at least.

I don't know if you are male or female, but I highly recommend your looking at
the rosacea-cure posts, concerning mineral makeup. I used a "concealer" for
years, to cover the most obvious redness of rosacea, but I really did not have
the help of any good, effective makeup, to get me through the temporary redness
that occurs during this treatment/cure. The concealer worked, to some degree,
but it's only recently, that I learned about these really effective "cover-up"
makeups. They will help a lot, I believe.

Also, some sort of "creme", or "healing lotion" is useful, to blend in the
temporary minor peeling that occurs, so that the very small peeling does not
look unsightly. I used the gel after-shave that I had, on my face for this
purpose.

On my hand, which itched unbearably in "healing", I even used Desitin ointment
for babies, and Lanacain Extra Strength ointment, so I could get a good night's
sleep. My hand was not rosacea, of course, but I assume it was some sort of
fungal infestation. From that experience, I was given knowledge that guided me,
when I applied this med to my facial rosacea. This experience taught me, that
the infestation does not all "die" in one application, but slowly recedes with
repeated application and "regeneration" cycles, which can take many months, from
start to finish. The skin ends up feeling so good, after so many years of this
rosacea-diseased condition.

I'm very concerned, that you may not find an MD to help you by prescribing this
med for your rosacea. I can only suggest, that since you have located a
sympathetic CP, you should ask him for the names of MDs who have prescribed
ANYTHING through him. There is a legal technicality, that CPs must follow, to
NOT "solicit business", but anything you initiate, your CP can help you with.
ANY MD will do; it doesn't have to be a dermatologist. They just have to be
open minded enough, to help you with even the first prescription of [FLUCONAZOLE
1% SOLUTION].
If you are unable to obtain this med, then you might carefully study the facts
at:
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/message/169>
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/message/170>

My CP is just 47 miles from New York City, so you might want to give him a call,
too. But he has never been able to guarantee that a doctor he recommends would
prescribe this med for rosacea.
I certainly am sympathetic, IMT, but I am as helpless as the next person, when
it comes to convincing any MD to have the integrity and heart to help with this
matter. I can only assure you, that this treatment/cure is the only true cure
for rosacea, in my strong opinion. However you obtain it, I believe that even
within one month, 90% or your rosacea symptoms will be gone, especially if you
have pustules, as I had.

I believe that even those doctors who have helped their rosacea patient with
this, may not be willing to "go on the record publicly", because they are
standing alone. Once enough doctors have prescribed this for rosacea, I hope to
"get them together", so that they can feel more confident to "go public". As it
is, no one in NY has informed me, if they got this out of state or not.
If you come up empty, you might reach ALL the CPs in your area, by using the
reference tool listed in message #64 on the rosacea-cure board, at:
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/message/64>

Ask EACH of them, for a list of ALL doctors who have prescribed ANYTHING through
them. By contacting these doctors about this, you might find one who will help
you.
Hope this helps.
God Bless,
Dave Fleming

Thanks for your reply, Dave. I am willing to give the solution a try. I think
I just am anxious to get results, so that's why I bring up the IPL combo
treatment. I'm sure you can relate - this condition has an effect on
my social life. So I am a bit impatient at times. If I can get a prescription
quickly, great.

If I can't get one locally, I'll try the California resource you mentioned in
the group messages. Do you know if anyone had success getting the script out
of state? I'm in NY, I hope they're sympathetic!

Subject: Is [DMSO-fluconazole] "too strong" for rosacea???

Hi, IMT,
I'm very happy to hear from you. Since I'm not an MD, it's very hard for me to
answer you with absolute authority. The only authority I feel, is from my
long-term experience with using [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] to cure my 15-20 year
case of progressive rosacea.
The disadvantage we are all at, at this time, is that no one knows how/why this
med cured my rosacea, and has given good results to all those who have tried
this treatment/cure at this time. I have many opinions about this, because I
have closely observed the effects it has had on my rosacea, for about two years.
Also, I have some experience in my background, in pharmacological/medical
research, in which I actually became a very good heart surgeon on the animals
that were treated in the research.

That said, I will say that my CP also tried to "switch me" to some other
"delivery system" than DMSO, for the same reasons you mention from your CP. I
stood my ground, because I know that he does not have any idea of how/why this
cured my rosacea. Much more recently, my CP finally admitted, and agreed with
me, that keeping the "formula for this med" identical, is the only way to
guarantee that this cure can be extended to anyone trying this med on their
rosacea. In message #64 on the rosacea-cure board, at:
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/message/64>
I even brought up the possibility of adding a painkiller to the formula; (my CP
said that Lidocain could easily be added). But I strongly recommend against ANY
change in the formula, because this situation is complex enough already. But
since the stinging was strong for me, and since I know that the more people try
this, the sooner this cure will be established, I thought a compromise might be
made, to try to get more people to experience this cure, by decreasing the ten
minutes of stinging that is expected, in the beginning. Whether adding Lidocain
would negate the effectiveness of this cure, is just a guess, in any case.

With exactly the same reasoning, I would not recommend mixing the IPL treatments
with the [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] treatments. For one thing, this is a highly
unusual situation, whereby you are trying this med on the basis of anecdotal
evidence only, (even though anecdotal evidence can be 100% correct). Therefore,
you really want to know exactly what the effects are for you, with no confusion
caused by not knowing if any given effect was from the IPL or from the med.
Most importantly, my strong belief is that anyone trying this med should do what
I did, as closely as possible, to eliminate unknown factors that might negate
this cure for you. I still have a couple of veins that show on the left side of
my nose, (caused by the past rosacea damage), and someday, I might have IPL, for
cosmetic reasons. But I am sure I will delay this cosmetic treatment, until
[FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] is established worldwide, as the first-ever true cure
for rosacea. There are still people willing
to claim that my rosacea is only in "remission", and I would not want to
complicate that issue, by having IPL, or any other treatment for these minor
veins showing.

All that said, my opinion is that it is better that you try this med, than that
you do not try it. I personally believe that this will cure your rosacea,
whether or not you "mix" it with IPL treatments. Changing the DMSO to another
"delivery system" is another matter, entirely. DMSO is so unique, and so
profound in its actions, that I am convinced that no other "delivery system"
would even be remotely able to mimic its effects. I believe that part of the
CP's thoughts on this, come from the fact that the FDA has carried out a
"vendetta" against DMSO for forty years, so that drug companies could find and
market a "similar agent", since they could not patent DMSO. That corrupt
"vendetta" has failed, however, because there just isn't any "similar agent" to
DMSO!!! In any case, my cynical opinion is that the CP knows that the MD may be
more mindful of his liability possibilities, (because of the FDA's long-standing
maligning of DMSO), than of curing your rosacea. To say that DMSO
is "too strong" is a bit ridiculous, since rosacea is such a "strong" disease.
Even so, finding the MD to write this prescription for [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]
for rosacea, has proven to be difficult for many rosaceans in the USA. You may
be able to obtain this prescription as an "Internet or Phone Consult", however.

Anyway, I understand what your CP is saying, (and I'm sure he has the best of
intentions), but I can only refer to the results I have, and that formula uses
DMSO. The only "trump card" I have, is that my CP is more than willing to speak
with anyone about this, and state that I am a credible person. His website,
email address, and even his phone number, are in message #2, (and many other
posts), on the rosacea-cure board. His name is Michael Roberge, R.Ph. His
website is at:
<compoundedsolutions.com>
Having accomplished so much, (by conversing with your CP about this), you
probably should now ask your CP to contact my CP directly, to personally confirm
as much as he can with his fellow-CP.
Well, I hope this helps, and you are soon rid of your rosacea, using
[FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]. Please remember to have this treatment/cure
witnessed as much as possible, by your MD, so that all other rosaceans can
benefit from your experience, and so that this med will become easy to obtain
for over a hundred million rosaceans, worldwide.
God Bless,
Dave Fleming

IMT <email address deleted> wrote:
Dave,
I called my local CP, and I ended up speaking to the Pharmacist.
He said that the DMSO is an awfully strong delivery agent for the
Fluconazole solution. I can't remember which others he mentioned
at the moment. But, have you asked your CP if there are other
delivery agents that might work as well? Maybe the reason they
use the DMSO is to penetrate a very dense area (like a toenail).
I'm curious. He seemed receptive to trying it for rosacea with the
DMSO, I think he was just trying to come up with alternatives.
In any case, I'm trying to obtain a prescription locally. I wanted to
schedule some IPL treatments as well to take care of the blood
vessel damage already done. Do you think it is a problem to
alternate these treatments (Fluconazole / IPL) every 2- 3 weeks?
Thanks,
IMT

Subject: How Did They Make [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]????

For Everyone,
To my knowledge, it may be technically illegal, to make your own [FLUCONAZOLE 1%
SOLUTION] at home. Of course, if you find that doctors refuse to prescribe this
benign, easily mixed, topically applied med, for your rosacea, you may become
quite desperate, to treat/cure your rosacea. This is the story, of one such
desperate couple, who chose to circumvent these seemingly heartless doctors. As
my Mother used to say, "There's more than one way, to skin a cat". Although I
would not advocate just anyone using [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] without a
doctor's guidance, it is possible that this couple will find a doctor who will
monitor/witness their use of [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], to treat/cure their
rosacea, without writing the prescription.
I certainly wish this couple well, and I am posting this story here, for its
educational value only. Of course, if I had not used [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]
on my face, without a doctor's guidance, the discovery of this treatment/cure
for rosacea may have never been made....
In my case, I was afraid to let my MD or Compounding Pharmacist know I was
treating my rosacea with [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], because they might have been
required by law to cut off my supply of this med, (since it was prescribed to me
only for nail fungus).

If I had been able to create this med myself, then I'm sure that I would have
sought out at least one MD, to guide me in it's best use, in treating/curing my
rosacea.

Now that this discovery has been made, those rosaceans who are able to obtain
[FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], can ask their MD to guide them, if they choose to use
this medication to treat/cure their rosacea. Since the MD did not prescribe the
[FLUCONZOLE 1% SOLUTION], the MD's liability would be limited, and hopefully,
the MD might agree to guide/witness this treatment/cure of rosacea.
In any case, with enough positive testimonials, (with some even witnessed by
MDs), even skeptical/heartless MDs will have to consider prescribing
[FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] for rosacea.
God Bless,
Dave Fleming

OFFICIAL FORMULA FOR [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]:
Anyone viewing this OFFICIAL FORMULA for [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] should be
advised that this is a "prescription only" formula, and should not be attempted
without medical consent and advice. Also, the active ingredient
Fluconazole/Diflucan can only be obtained via prescription. Ibuprofen is
thought to be a non-essential ingredient of this formulation, but is added to
maximize absorption. However, Ibuprofen was a part of the [FLUCONAZOLE 1%
SOLUTION] that cured my rosacea. Therefore, if I were obtaining this med, I
would want the entire formula to be followed, to the letter, because no one
knows how or why it cured my rosacea.
INGREDIENT LIST:
1 gram fluconazole/Diflucan, (1% active ingredient)
200 mg Ibuprofen, (0.2% non-essential ingredient)
100 ml Pharmaceutical Grade DMSO, (i.e. Dimethyl Sulfoxide)
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS:
To make 100 ml of [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]:
Triturate, (i.e. grind to a fine powder), 1 gm of Fluconazole, USP powder, to
reduce particle size.
Triturate 200 mg of Ibuprofen, USP powder, to reduce particle size.
Dissolve powders in 50 ml of Dimethyl Sulfoxide, USP.
Add sufficient Dimethyl Sulfoxide, USP to make 100 ml.
Stir until uniformly combined.
TO MAKE A SINGLE REFILL SIZE AMOUNT, (i.e. 30 ml), THE FORMULA WOULD BE CHANGED
PROPORTIONALLY, TO:
INGREDIENT LIST:
0.3 gram fluconazole/Diflucan, (1% active ingredient)
60 mg Ibuprofen, (0.2% non-essential ingredient)
30 ml Pharmaceutical Grade DMSO, (i.e. Dimethyl Sulfoxide)
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS:
To make 30 ml of [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]:
Triturate, (i.e. grind to a fine powder), 0.3 gm, (i.e. 300 mg), of Fluconazole,

Hi, HBF,

Have gotten the article for you. If you want this as an attachment in MSWord,
let me know.
This article mixes 1.6 g, (i.e. one point six grams), fluconazole with 100
milli-Liters of DMSO.
THE FOLLOWING SENTENCE, CONCERNING MESSAGE #64, AND OTHER POSTS PRIOR TO MESSAGE
#163, ARE INCORRECT; ACTUALLY, 300 mg of FLUCONAZOLE ARE MIXED, WITH 30 ML of
DMSO.
The only reliable one I know of, mixes 150 mg fluconazole with 30 milli-Liters
of DMSO, as in:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/message/64
<<<<<<<CORRECTION AS OF 21AUG03, IN MESSAGE #163 ON THE ROSACEA-CURE BOARD ---
However, I MADE A MISTAKE BEFORE, because TWO 15 ML bottles are used, to fill
ONE 30 ML PRESCRIPTION REFILL. That has meant, that each bottle is labeled as
"30 ML", (i.e. the whole refill), when, in fact, the volume of each bottle is
only 15 ML. When I asked my Compounding Pharmacist how much fluconazole he used,
IN EACH BOTTLE, he said, "150 mg". Because the label on each bottle tells what
is in THE WHOLE REFILL, I simply read the bottle label, and thought that each
bottle held 30ML. I WAS WRONG. Each bottle holds only 15 ML. Therefore, you
must adjust all of my statements, about how much med I applied, according to
these facts. Unless you are trying to actually manufacture this med yourself,
(which may be illegal, to my knowledge), this MISTAKE AND CORRECTION is not
important, because the dosage of [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] is quite miniscule,
in either case.>>>>>>>
Therefore, the true formulation for [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], mixes 300 mg,
(i.e. 0.3 grams), of fluconazole with 30 ML, (i.e. 30 milli-Liters), of a 100%
concentration of pharmaceutical grade DMSO.
The 1% figure is calculated by dividing the weight of fluconazole, (in grams),
by the volume of the DMSO, (in ML), (i.e. a weight/volume percentage). So, 0.3
grams divided by 30 ML = 0.01 = 1%
Similarly, the formula from 1998 would be 1.6 grams, divided by 100 ML, which
would be 0.016 = 1.6%, (i.e. one and six tenths percent), fluconazole.
So, sometime since 1998, when [DMSO-fluconazole] was first prescribed to treat
nail fungus as a topically applied med, the concentration of the fluconazole was
changed, from 1.6 %, to 1 %. My Compounding Pharmacist allowed me to know, that
he was introduced to this at a seminar, (as a 1% solution of fluconazole), about
3 and a half years ago. Why this change in fluconazole content occurred, I do
not know. Three possible reasons occur, in my mind.
1) The 1% was found to be better, for some reason, or
2) Since the cost of this med is directly related to the amount of fluconazole,
it may have been found that a 1% solution was just as effective, and would cost
37% less.
3) Since huge doses of oral fluconazole or DMSO, that enter the bloodstream may
have side effects, as in:
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/message/111>
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/message/159>
the 1% concentration may simply guarantee to cut the already miniscule systemic
dosage, (when topically applied), by 37%, without sacrificing effectiveness,
making this topically applied med not just safe, but ultra-safe.
Of course, the only one I've used, is the 1% content of fluconazole.
There is a whole lot of info about simple DMSO, at these two URLs, and their
associated links:
<http://www.dmso.org/articles/information/jacob.htm>
<http://www.dmso.org/articles/information/muir.htm>
This info includes the fact, that DMSO "combines" with most any substance with a
molecular weight less than 3,000, and "carries" it deep into the skin, with a
minute amount even entering the bloodstream. In spite of about four decades, of
over 11,000 studies done on simple DMSO, it is still a great mystery, as to
how/why simple DMSO penetrates the skin as well as it does. It is even a greater
mystery, as to how/why it can "carry" substances mixed with it, into the skin,
and into the bloodstream, (and sometimes create a concentrated "reservoir" of
the "carried" substance, deep in the skin).
CAUTIONARY NOTE:
One thing that seems important, is that there are some ingredients in the
tablets, (as listed in the article below), that are supposed to be "filtered"
out. I would assume the filters used might be somewhat special. Since this med
is only applied topically, I do not see how this could be too important. A
knowledgeable person in this field has informed me that it is possible, that
there might be unwanted "excipients" in some tablets, and these excipients might
be dissolved by the DMSO, and then be carried into the skin. These possible
"excipients" do not seem too important to me, because I do remember, that when I
first was getting this prescription, the liquid was pink in color. Later
refills were clear, (and looked like water). My CP has recently informed me,
that that was because he was using the pink fluconazole tablets, at first, but
soon switched to using fluconazole powder, which is white.
As you know, the one-time tablet oral dose used for women's yeast infections, is
a 150 mg tablet, I believe.
A strange thing, about this liquid, is that it "freezes" at a fairly high
temperature. My CP said this does not harm it, but it can "freeze" even in a
slightly cold room. Simple DMSO "freezes" at 18.45 degrees Centigrade, and
that's 65.21 degrees Fahrenheit. The DMSO mixed with fluconazole may be slightly
different, but it "froze" several times with me, in the wintertime, so I had to
warm it up indoors, before using it.
Concerning your question:
*** If this works with DMSO with fluconazole, does it work with other
anti-fungals?
The only "rule", governing whether DMSO will "transport" any molecule into the
skin, is that that molecule must have a molecular weight of less than 3,000.
The molecular weight of fluconazole is 306.3, (i.e. three hundred and six point
three). I do not believe any other anti-fungal would have a molecular weight
over 3,000. However, "does it work" is a question fraught with substantial
possible dangers of the "unknown". [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] has over a
four-year record of being successfully prescribed to cure nail fungus. To my
knowledge, no other anti-fungal has been used/mixed with DMSO, except as stated
in:
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/message/64>
Well, that's all I can think of. Please let me know how you do.

The following information is from an article in the:
International Journal of Pharmaceutical Compounding, vol. 2, No. 4 July/August
1998, page 299
RX:
(For 100 mL)
Fluconazole ------------------- 1.6 g (i.e. one and six tenths grams)
Dimethyl Sulfoxide, (DMSO) qs - 100mL
METHOD OF PREPARATION
1. Calculate the required quantity of each ingredient for the total amount to be
prepared.
2. Accurately weigh the fluconazole powder or obtain from Diflucan tablets.
3. Dissolve the fluconazole powder in the DMSO or mix the finely powdered
tablets with the DMSO. (A 100% concentration of pure, pharmaceutical grade DMSO
was used.)
4. If the tablets were used, filter the product after the fluconazole has gone
into solution. (See below, for tablet ingredients.)
5. Package in a bottle with a glass rod applicator. (Mine had a small brush
applicator.)
PACKAGING
Package in a tight container, preferably an applicator bottle containing a
glass-rod applicator. (Mine was a glass bottle, with a brush applicator as part
of the screw top.)
LABELING
For external use only. Use only as directed.
STABILITY
For this nonaqueous preparation, a beyond-use date of six months can be used.
DISCUSSION
Fluconazole, (Diflucan), is a synthetic azole antifungal agent structurally
related to clotrimazole, ketoconazole and miconazole. It occurs as a white
crystalline powder that is slightly soluble in water to the extent of about 8
mg/mL, (at 37 degrees C); and, at room temperature, a solubility of about 25
mg/mL in alcohol. It has a pKa of 1.76 and the pH of the parenteral dosage form
is in the range of 4 to 8 in 0.9% sodium chloride injection and 3.5 to 6.5 in 5%
dextrose injection. [1]
Fluconazole is fungistatic and is active against many fungi, including yeasts
and dermatophytes but does not appear to have any antibacterial activity. The
drug is available in 50-, 100-, and 200-mg tablets, WHICH ALSO CONTAIN
MICROCRYSTALLINE CELLULOSE, DIBASIC CALCIUM PHOSPHATE ANHYDROUS, POVIDONE,
CROSCARMELLOSE SODIUM, FD&C RED NUMBER 40 ALUMINUM LAKE DYE, AND MAGNESIUM
STEARATE. [2]
Dimethyl sulfoxide occurs as a very hygroscopic liquid with practically no odor
or color. It has a slightly bitter taste with a sweet aftertaste, a specific
gravity of 1.100, A MELTING, (i.e. FREEZING), POINT OF 18.45 DEGREES CENTIGRADE,
and a boiling point of 189 degrees C. It is soluble in water, ethanol and
acetone.
Oral antifungals generally must be administered for an extended time period,
especially for fungal infections of the nails. In an average patient, the
toenail plate grows at a rate of about 1.5 to 2 mm per month and the fingernail
plate grows at a rate of about 3 to 4 mm per month. At this rate, for a toenail
plate of about 1.5 cm, it may take up to about ten months for the plate to be
completely replaced; and a fingernail of about 1 cm may take about three months
to be replaced. Consequently, topical treatment is desired in some cases, as
the duration of treatment may be less with some topical agents. [4]

Thanks Dave for your info. I would love a copy of the article, if you can get
it to me somehow. Is there a URL that I can just look at?
I found this site for the "International Journal of Pharmaceutical Compounding"
at <http://www.ijpc.com>
I did a search on Fluconazole, and came up with: "Fluconazole in Dimethyl
Sulfoxide, Issue Jul/Aug 1998 page 299". Is this the article that you have?
Well, if you are able to get it to me, that would be nice.
My husband has rosacea and acne, and this compounded drug would be good for him.
Now to find a dermatologist !!!
On another note, I did not completely realize the point of your group. It makes
sense that you are pushing for recognition of this treatment. Good luck in your
endeavors. If we find someone willing to do this compounded drug, then will let
you know a name.

Dave Fleming wrote:
Hi, HBF,
Just wanted to get back to you, even though I have not been able to decide how
to best present your idea publicly. I had not really thought of it, before.
I guess part of the stickiness of this question, is that the whole point of this
group, is to establish this treatment/cure as completely presentable to the
scientific/medical community, and hence, to the worldwide "community" of
rosaceans.
We can assume, that anyone making and using "Home Brewed [FLUCONAZOLE 1%
SOLUTION]", would not be as credible as someone working with a doctor.
Therefore, after curing their rosacea, they would not be able to easily convince
anyone that their cure was valid, and this would still leave all other rosaceans
without access to this [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] treatment/cure.
It will be a horrendous commentary on the lack of integrity of MDs, (in the
USA), if enough MDs do not help to establish this treatment/cure for rosacea. I
just do not know how long that will take, given the time this treatment/cure
takes, to be totally effective, much less, how many USA MDs will help in this
matter.
In any case, I wanted to mention to you, that the formula ingredients for
[FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] are in message #64.
***(EDITOR'S NOTE: SEE CORRECTION OF FORMULA AMOUNTS, IN MESSAGE #163 ON THE
ROSACEA-CURE BOARD. - Dave Fleming)
The three messages I have promoted, as containing most all pertinent info, are:
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/>
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/message/2>
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/message/18>
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/message/64>
I hope you stay in touch, with any results you obtain. I believe it is simple
enough, to make "Home Brewed [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]", but it seems to me,
that such desperate measures should be taken, only after we have DEMANDED that
MDs help in this rather simple endeavor, to prescribe a really benign, topically
applied med, for some sort of trial use, for the treatment/cure of rosacea.
I do have some specific info, about creating this med. It was in an article in
the IJPC, (i.e. the International Journal of Pharmaceutical Compounding). It was
not that complicated, but as I said, it does not seem that making it ourselves,
will establish this treatment/cure as it should be established. Let me know, if
you want a copy of this article.

HBF wrote:
Sorry about the confusion about my message. It was late, and I was not typing /
thinking clearly at that moment. Was probably thinking FLuconazole + DMSO, but
typed only DMSO.
Well, if you could do me a favor then: I would like to propose an idea to you
and your members of the Yahoo group, but I DO NOT WANT MY E-MAIL ADDRESS posted.
You could put out the information, but ONLY if you wanted to do so. So it is to
your discretion. But DO NOT PUT IN MY E-MAIL Address with this idea. Thanks!!

Idea is:
Firstly, find out what is meant by a compounding pharmacist what exactly is 1%
Fluconazole DMSO solution. I am guessing that what they mean is you take 10 mg
fluconazole and mix it with 1000 mg DMSO. I believe that this, as in other
compounded drugs, would yield a 1% product. For instance, if you get a 1%
progesterone cream, the way that it is made is to take 10mg progesterone and mix
it in 1000 mg of cream base. They can then call this a 1% progesterone cream.
It is made so that it is 10 mg progesterone per 1 gram cream. So, as I have
said: firstly, find out from the compounding pharmacist what is in the 1%
solution, exactly. I am sure that they would tell you since they have told me
about the ingredients in other compounded drugs. If you run into a problem with
getting that information, e-mail me back and I'll call someone myself.
Secondly, find out their process. I imagine that they simply pulverize (glass
mortar & pestle?) the Fluconazole in some way, and then add it to DMSO in the
above-mentioned proportions.
Thirdly, get some DMSO through www.dmso.org & http://www.jacoblab.com/ They
sell DMSO made by Dr. Stanley Jacobs. Their DMSO is supposed to be very good.
Fourthly, get a prescription for Fluconazole for something else: vaginal yeast
infection (this would obviously only work for women), or some other way, and
just compound your own solution at home. The fluconazole pills come in 150 mg
strength, I believe.
In this way, you don't have to convince any MD of any weird thing regarding 1%
fluconazole. They more happily dispense the drug to women with vaginal yeast
infections. Might even like to give it to people with fungal infections of the
toenails or fingernails.
You've probably already thought of this. Anyway, just an idea. Maybe you don't
even want to post this, but it might be a way you would be able to get what you
want.
*** If this works with DMSO with fluconazole, does it work with other
anti-fungals?
Again - if you do post the idea, don't post this with my e-mail address.
Thanks for your group. I think I am going to figure out how to get some of this
stuff to try it on a family member here at home.
Thanks again for all your hard work

Dave Fleming wrote:
Hi, HBF,
I notice that you state, "your Yahoo group about DMSO". I just want to clarify,
that a mixture of DMSO and fluconazole is absolutely, completely different, than
simple DMSO, so this group is not about DMSO, but I think you may already
understand this.
Yes, this email address reaches me. I appreciate your interest. An email
address that reaches me more immediately, is (fulltruth40@...).
Frankly, I have not encouraged members of the rosacea-cure group to post,
(although they are free to do so), because they expose their email address
publicly, and I have experienced some horrendous "cyber-attacks", since I began
this group. Therefore, I am concerned, that this could happen to anyone who is
trying to promote the establishment of this treatment/cure.
Sometimes, since I do not check, I do not know whether someone reaching me
privately at (fulltruth40@...) is a member of the group or not.
As you may have noticed, a lot of the email to me is inquiry, or questioning
this claim in some way, so I reply to it, and therefore, my clarifying answer is
posted, along with their doubts/questions. Sometimes, when they post something
negative sounding on the board, I answer it, with their original message, which
I post on the board. Then, I delete their original message on the board,
because I see no reason to waste people's time reading a message that is
clarified by my answer, in the later post including their original post.
I have been told that this makes me look "over controlling", but I am new at all
this, and am following the most logical course I can, following the stated goal
of the group, to serve as a clearing house for any POSITIVE support for the
establishment of this treatment/cure for rosacea.
For over a month, anyone could post on the board, (even non-members), but
someone with a twisted agenda started posting, so now, only members can post.
Since I believe that evidence must be plentiful, to convince anyone, I do not
believe that presenting piece-meal evidence is the best way. I am trying to
privately amass enough evidence to be convincing, as a whole, so this appears to
be a long-haul project, given the fact that this treatment/cure is not
"overnight" in nature.
Sooooooooooo, I am very interested to hear your idea, concerning the best way(s)
to obtain the prescription for [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], for rosacea.
I look forward to hearing from you again.

Dear Dave,
I have read some of your messages in your Yahoo group about DMSO.
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/>
I am a little confused. It appears that most of the messages are from you, but
you have also replied to many different people inside your own messages. I have
not been able to view the original messages from those other people. Are they
members of the group, and just e-mailing you privately, or ??
I had an idea for you about the difficulty of getting the 1% solution, but don't
really want to write it to you if this isn't really even the right e-mail
address.
Please reply if I have the right address.

Generic Diflucan
Brand name:Diflucan
Pronounced: Dye-FLEW-can
Generic name: Fluconazole
Pronounced: Flew-CON-uh-zawl
Why is Generic Diflucan prescribed?
(Orally administered) Fluconazole is used to treat fungal infections called
candidiasis (also known as thrush or yeast infections). These include vaginal
infections, throat infections, and fungal infections elsewhere in the body, such
as infections of the urinary tract, peritonitis (inflammation of the lining of
the abdomen), and pneumonia. (Orally administered) Diflucan is also prescribed
to guard against candidiasis in some people receiving bone marrow transplants,
and is used to treat meningitis (brain or spinal cord inflammation) caused by
another type of fungus.
In addition, (orally administered) Fluconazole is now being prescribed for
fungal infections in kidney and liver transplant patients, and fungal infections
in patients with AIDS.

How should you (orally) take Generic Diflucan?
You can take Diflucan (orally) with or without meals.
Take Fluconazole (orally) exactly as prescribed, and continue taking it (orally)
for as long as your doctor instructs. You may begin to feel better after the
first few days; but it takes weeks or even months of (orally administered)
treatment to completely cure certain fungal infections.
--If you miss a dose...
Take the forgotten (oral) dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost
time for your next dose, skip the one you missed and return to your regular
schedule. Do not take double (oral) doses.
--Storage instructions...
Diflucan tablets should be stored at normal room temperature. Avoid exposing
them to temperatures above 86°F.
Possible food and drug interactions:
If Diflucan is taken (orally) with certain other (orally administered) drugs,
the effects of either could be increased, decreased, or altered. It is
especially important to check with your doctor before combining (orally
administered) Fluconazole with the following (orally administered drugs):
- Blood-thinning drugs such as Coumadin
- Antidiabetic drugs such as Orinase, DiaBeta, and Glucotrol
- Astemizole (Hismanal)
- Cisapride (Propulsid)
- Cyclosporine (Sandimmune, Neoral)
- Hydrochlorothiazide (HydroDIURIL)
- Phenytoin (Dilantin)
- Rifabutin (Mycobutin)
- Rifampin (Rifadin)
- Tacrolimus (Prograf)
- Terfenadine (Seldane)
- Theophylline (Theo-Dur)
- Ulcer medications such as Tagamet

Special information:
The effects of (orally administered) Diflucan during pregnancy have not been
adequately studied. If you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant, inform your
doctor immediately. (Orally administered) Diflucan appears in breast milk and
could affect a nursing infant. If this medication is essential to your health,
your doctor may advise you to stop breastfeeding until your treatment with
(orally administered) Diflucan is finished.

RECOMMENDED ORAL DOSAGES FOR ADULTS
For vaginal infections:
The usual (orally administered) treatment is a single 150-milligram dose.
For throat infections:
The usual (oral) dose for candidiasis of the mouth and throat is 200 milligrams
on the first day, followed by 100 milligrams once a day. You should see results
in a few days, but treatment should continue for at least 2 weeks to avoid a
relapse. For candidiasis of the esophagus (gullet) the usual (oral) dose is 200
milligrams on the first day, followed by 100 milligrams once a day. An (oral)
dose of 400 milligrams a day can also be taken if your infection is more severe.
(Orally administered) treatment should continue for a minimum of 3 weeks and for
at least 2 weeks after symptoms have stopped.
For systemic (bodywide) infections:
(Oral) doses of up to 400 milligrams per day are sometimes prescribed.
For urinary infections and peritonitis:
(Oral) doses range from 50 to 200 milligrams per day.
For cryptococcal meningitis:
The usual (oral) dose is 400 milligrams on the first day, followed by 200
milligrams once a day. (Orally administered) treatment should continue for 10
to 12 weeks once tests of spinal fluid come back negative. For AIDS patients, a
200-milligram (oral) dose taken once a day is recommended to prevent relapse.
Prevention of candidiasis during bone marrow transplantation:
The usual (oral) dose is 400 milligrams once a day.
If you have kidney disease, your doctor may have to reduce your (oral) dosage.

For Everyone,
It is now possible to be prescribed [FLUCONALZOLE 1% SOLUTION] by Internet or
Phone Consult, with no physical exam necessary. As per message #143, you simply
state that you have nail-fungus, and pay the Consult Fee, the price of the
[FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], and any shipping fee, to have [FLUCONAZOLE 1%
SOLUTION] delivered to your doorstep.
The Phone or Internet prescription requires no physical exam, and has been
common practice, for a number of years. It is based on the fact, that the
law(s) governing the issuance of medical prescriptions, state that an
"examination" is necessary; physicians may interpret the term "examination" to
include Internet or Phone examinations, especially for more benign medications.
At present, I have found only one source of [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], for nail
fungus, on the Internet, and it appears to be reputable and reliable.
IF ANYONE KNOWS OF ANY OTHER INTERNET / PHONE PRESCRIBED [FLUCONAZOLE 1%

For the one I have found, their fee, for Phone Consult Prescriptions is a bit
high --- $225.00 Initial and $110.00 each, for any Follow-Up Consults.
The cost of the [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] is reasonable, at $55.00 for 30 ml.
They stated that their shipping cost is $3.00.
Their website is being overhauled/changed, so they are presently only taking
orders through their
<toll-free phone number, at (866) 833-2273>
They have stated to me that they supply this Phone Consult Prescription service
only on a case-by-case basis. This means that you are much more likely to
receive this service if you live in their state, in California. They might more
likely refuse this service to anyone outside California, even though they do
serve the entire continental USA. Wherever you live, it couldn't hurt to call
and ask them.
An estimated 34 million Americans have nail fungus, with 90% of them going
untreated.
Other than appearance, nail fungus generally has no symptoms. In some very rare
cases, nail fungus may cause pain, limit mobility, and interfere with manual
dexterity.
The most common type of nail fungus is in the big toes, and causes
yellowish-brown, or greenish-brown discoloration with eventual crumbling and
disintegration of the nail plate, usually after many months or years of
progressive growth, under the extra-hardened top layer of the toenail.
[FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] is presently a hard-to-find item, and most doctors are
either ignorant of its existence, or do not know of any Compounding Pharmacist,
through which they could prescribe it.
Topically applied [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], (a mixture of DMSO and
fluconazole), is better than any other nail fungus treatment, because it avoids
the substantial side effects caused by orally administered treatments, and has
an exceptional, totally unique ability to penetrate the skin and nail, because
of the DMSO used as the "delivery system". Even though initial results are
substantial with this treatment, it may take six weeks or longer, of daily
application, to completely get rid of the nail fungus infection. EVEN SO, DO
NOT LET ANY DOCTOR "SWITCH YOU", TO USING SOME OTHER TREATMENT FOR NAIL FUNGUS.
This is indeed the best treatment available for nail fungus, so do not allow any
doctor to successfully mislead you into trying some other remedy. Stick to your
guns.
How Does An Online Consultation Work?
Online consultations are a new concept in health care that utilize the Internet
to improve patient access to physician care. The patient does not receive a
traditional physical exam by the physician, but rather completes an online
questionnaire and communicates with the physician using a secure online
communication tool. Although online consultations will never take the place of
traditional medicine, they do provide a means for patients to receive treatment
for a limited number of conditions that, in certain circumstances, may not
require a physical exam.
Worldwide delivery:
Importation of prescription medication is legal in most countries (including the
USA) provided the medication is for personal use and is not a controlled
substance, (i.e. a narcotic, psychotropic, etc.).

Hi, Joey,
When I read your letter, below, I was not convinced that you have rosacea, (as I
understand it), because you are so young, and because the "normal" progression,
is to first have rosacea on the face, with it progressing to the eye area.
But you could have rosacea, or something that could be treated/cured by applying
[FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], ONLY TO THE SKIN OF THE FACE, AROUND THE EYES, BUT
NEVER INTO OR ON THE EYES.
Everyone can find all the facts, about this new treatment/cure for rosacea, at:
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/>
Of course, it is still hard to find an MD to prescribe this for rosacea, so I
hope you can overcome that problem, along with all rosaceans.
By the way, ocular-rosacea is a very special case, concerning this topically
applied [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]. Although I never applied it directly to the
eyes, this med is amazing, in that part of it actually enters the bloodstream,
and thereby has the highly probable effect of treating/curing ocular rosacea,
EVEN THOUGH IT SHOULD MOST LIKELY NEVER BE APPLIED IN THE EYES, BUT ONLY TO THE
FACIAL SKIN AROUND THE EYES. Although I never had known symptoms of
ocular-rosacea, I noticed a definite "sensation", in my eyes, every time I
applied this ON MY TOES, in the beginning. Yes, I said toes.
So the incredibly small amount I applied on my toes, put an even smaller amount,
(probably not measurable by any current means), into my bloodstream, and I felt
some slight "sensation" in my eyes, within a couple of minutes of the
application to my toes. At the time, I just thought it was a bit strange, but I
ignored it.
I got this prescription for a bad case of nail-fungus, and I only discovered
later, that it cured my rosacea when I used it on my facial skin.
My strong belief, is that I was "developing" ocular-rosacea, and that this med
was attacking that slight infestation, in my eyes, EVEN THOUGH I NEVER APPLIED
IT TO THE EYES, AND I NEVER APPLIED IT EVEN TO THE SKIN IN THE EYE SOCKETS,
AROUND THE EYES.
It is quite possible that SOME HARM COULD BE DONE by applying [FLUCONAZOLE 1%
SOLUTION] directly INTO THE EYES. It causes such a strong reaction in
rosacea-infested skin, that I would not trust applying it directly to the eyes.
However, I do believe it may successfully treat/cure ocular-rosacea, because
applying it repeatedly, (over a period of weeks/months), to the skin of the
face, allows some infinitesimal amount of this med to reach every part of the
body, (including the eyes), through the bloodstream.
I hope this info helps you, and all those suffering with ocular-rosacea.
God Bless,
Dave Fleming

pretty much stopped using my contacts for the past year. It really
doesn't seem to make a difference though.
I can't seem to find an eye doctor that specializes in Ocular Rosacea

tear ducts plugged. My eyes are pretty moist during the day. They

don't understand why my eyes are still red???? I have tried Doryx

Anyone have any advice on what I can do to have white eyes and not red

Well, no one can say that God does not have a sense of humor, as He punishes the
rosacea-support group, for their greed-based banning practices. On 22AUG03, a
donlene7702 posted a message #52745 with the Subject, “What Worked For Me”. It
was posted on the heavily Moderated rosacea-support board, as a serious
recommendation, to use Clorox bleach, right out of the bottle, on your face.
Five aghast replies followed. Then, in message #52765, Subject, “No Harm
Intended”, on 24AUG03, donlene7702 says he’s serious, and he’s leaving the
group. Then, message #52803 is an apology to donlene7702, pleading with him not
to leave rosacea-support!!!!!!!

David Pascoe recently banned me, john forsythe, from rosacea-support, because I
sent a message recommending [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION].

David Pascoe may wind up wishing he had not suppressed the first treatment/cure
for rosacea, just as the Pharaoh wished he had not tangled with Moses. It looks
like, this time, God’s imagination is ranging far beyond too many frogs, into
the realm of lawsuits. Ouch! I’ll bet David would rather have the frogs. This
includes Andrew Reid as well, who is the group-owner of rosacea-knowledge.
Hmmmmmm “support”, and “knowledge”. Could these groups be lying, about the real
$tatu$ of their motivation? I guess God knows.

I, for one, hope David Pascoe and Andrew Reid change their minds, concerning
their ban on [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]. But don’t hold your breath. I wonder
what will happen next? I guess only God knows.

For Everyone,
Pharmasave Drugs, Ltd, as the first source of [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], to
treat rosacea in Canada, is to be commended, as serving the highest, cutting
edge standard of service to rosaceans.
From the information below, we see that Pharmasave pursues the ideal of
independent owners who seek to give customized service to their local
communities. No "cookie cutter" drug store, this.

Our deepest thanks and gratefulness go out to Pharmasave, and to the first
doctor in Canada who has written a prescription to help a suffering rosacean,
for [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION].
May many thousands, and millions of prescriptions follow. Perhaps American
rosaceans should find a way to reach Canadian doctors, and order this med from
Pharmasave. I don't know if this is possible, but necessity is the mother of
invention, or so I have heard.
I have posted the following material, from the Pharmasave website, to encourage
any means possible, to help break through any barrier, in the USA, that may be
preventing some US doctors from writing this prescription for rosacea patients.
God Bless,
Dave Fleming

The following text was found at the Pharmasave website, at:
<http://www.pharmasave.com/>
<http://www.pharmasave.com/About/ownership.asp>
ABOUT US - OWNERSHIP
Ownership Opportunities
Pharmasave, now a familiar drug store name in communities across Canada, first
appeared on the retail scene in 1981 when a visionary group of pharmacists
formed a new business association to pursue a dream of independence under a
strong brand, which they jointly owned. Today the entire organization consists
of over 320 independently owned franchises operated in eight provinces.
In Canada, Pharmasave is the third largest national drug chain and the 5th
largest chain by store count. It is presently the 20th largest chain store in
North America by dollar volume. In November 1999, we were named as a regional
finalist in the 50 Best Managed Private Companies Program.
A Brief Review of the Organization
As the entity that is responsible for overall development of the Pharmasave
brand, Pharmasave Drugs Ltd. created regional sub-franchise companies to develop
provincial territories across Canada. In turn, these regional sub-franchisors,
[like Pharmasave Drugs (Atlantic) Ltd.] source new member retail stores and
enter into franchise agreements with them for the use of the Pharmasave system.
New members also enter into a license agreement for the use of the Pharmasave
trademark.
Pharmasave and You
As any store owner will tell you, being a part of the Pharmasave organization is
a rewarding and challenging career that offers many benefits. As independents,
members have the freedom to steer the course of their success while at the same
time, having the benefit of national marketing clout. This includes advertising,
buying power, human resources, operating systems, business development and
merchandising. The Pharmasave "value-added" program is continually being
upgraded with the addition of even more services. These skillfully managed
services are cost effective to our members and in the end, result in lower
prices for our customers.
Today, to grow or even maintain market share, a retail store must reach out
beyond its geographical trading area and become a destination. Becoming a
destination takes much more than a convenient location. At Pharmasave we don't
just recognize this, we focus on it - from product offerings to services to
in-store decor.
We strive to have people view our stores not only as a convenience, but also as
a healthcare resource and a unique shopping experience. We provide our members
the tools that allow them to develop the most effective mix of product and decor
for their market. No cookie cutter here - each store has a unique formula for
success and relationship with the communities in which they operate. With this
in mind, we have built into our decor package and our merchandising systems the
flexibility to allow each member the ability to tailor their business to their
own specific goals.

I read most of the emails from the rosaceans in this group. There was one in
particular that sparked my interest and his name is Dave Flemming. Dave did a
write up on Fluconazole which I found interesting. I showed my doctor Dave's
email and asked if he would prescribe the Fluconazole 1% Solution....which he
agreed to.

The next step was to find a pharmacy that had the recipe for this solution.
After not having any success with my regular pharmacy, I decided to try
Pharmasave and they did it with no problem. The cost here in Canada is $47.00
for 30 ml, which is a bit pricy.
I started using this solution on August 12th of this month and am already seeing
an improvement on my face....amazing.
If you haven't read Dave's email or if it isn't available now, I will paste a

____________________________________________________________

This group exists to raise awareness, concerning a new powerful treatment and
cure for rosacea. By God's grace, I was led to discover this cure for my
rosacea, and I am coming to my fellow rosacean sufferers, trying to communicate
this to every single rosacean sufferer, and overcome the natural skepticism
involved, since no cure has ever existed for rosacea until now. The goals of
this group will be quite straightforward.

1) We will work to unite all rosacean sufferers, and any others possible, in
demanding that the topically applied DMSO medication, called [FLUCONAZOLE 1%
SOLUTION], (brand name Diflucan), be made available for the treatment of
rosacea. FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION is an absolutely benign, topically applied
treatment, which is created ONLY by COMPOUNDING PHARMACISTS, and is now,
[03MAY03], being prescribed only for nail fungus.

2) In preparation for that day, (rosacea-cure@yahoogroups.com) will strive to be
a clearing house for any sort of evidence that points toward and/or supports the
claim that this treatment cures rosacea. For example, the following quote is
from a January, 2003 article, covering formerly impossible to diagnose fungal
causes for inflammation, at
URL:http://www.jsonline.com/alive/news/jan03/108386.asp "Researchers at the Mayo
Clinic achieved a breakthrough in 1999, when they found that some inflammation
was caused by an immune response to fungi…"

For your convenience, the following three message/links cover all of the most
important information, concerning this claim:

Subject: A CORRECTION, for the Formulation of [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]
fulltruth40
Offline Offline
Send Email Send Email

For Everyone,
It has come to my attention, that I made a rather stupid mistake, concerning the
formulation of [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]. Although this mistake has no effect
whatsoever, on any claims I have made for this med, it does need to be cleared
up, so that absolute statements can be made, about the incredibly small dosages
I used, of this topically applied med. As it turns out, correcting this mistake
will actually decrease any estimates of the miniscule amount of med I applied,
as I treated and cured my rosacea with [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION].
To clarify, for the layman's sake, ML is the same as "milli-Liter", in this
explanation.
I MADE A MISTAKE HERE, because TWO 15 ML bottles are used, to fill ONE 30 ML
PRESCRIPTION REFILL. That has meant, that each bottle is labled as "30 ML",
(i.e. the whole refill), when, in fact, the volumn of each bottle is only 15 ML.
When I asked my Compounding Pharmacist how much fluconazole he used, IN EACH
BOTTLE, he said, "150 mg". Because the label on each bottle tells what is in
THE WHOLE REFILL, I simply read the bottle label, and thought that each bottle
held 30ML. I WAS WRONG. Each bottle holds only 15 ML. Therefore, you must
adjust any of my past statements, about how much med I applied, according to
these facts. Unless you are trying to actually manufacture this med yourself,
(which is illegal, to my knowledge), this MISTAKE AND CORRECTION is not
important, because the dosage applied, of [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] is quite
miniscule, in either case.
Therefore, the true formulation for [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], mixes 300mg, (i.e
0.3 grams), fluconazole with 30 ML, of a 100% concentration of pharmaceutical
grade DMSO.
The 1% figure is calculated by dividing the weight of fluconazole, (in grams),
by the volume of the DMSO, (in ML), (i.e. a weight/volume percentage). So, 0.3
grams divided by 30 ML = 0.01 = 1% fluconazole

<<<<<<<When I stated, in rosacea-cure message #2, (and in many other posts),
that I used one tenth, to one fiftieth of a 30 ML bottle, I meant one tenth to
one fiftieth of a 15 ML bottle. Therefore, instead of using a maximum of 3 ML
per full face application, I actually only used a maximum of 1.5 ML, (i.e. one
point five ML), per full face application.>>>>>>>

I humbly apologize, to one and all, for this mistake, on my part. Since I am
trying to "pin down" the exact dosage I applied, especially for the
scientific/medical community, I hope we can now go forward with more exact
information, about the actual dosage of [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] I
used/applied, to cure my rosacea.
God Bless,
Dave Fleming

carefully. I have edited his email address out of this message. For an
explanation of my editing, see:
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/message/160>

I have never said that I specifically fear "attack" by the pharmaceutical
companies. I have always tried to make it clear, that all the miriad of people
and businesses, who are profiting from "helping" rosaceans, are in the catagory
of those with incredibly strong motivation(s), to stop any real cure for rosacea
from being established. I have found various attacks against me, and against
the rosacea-cure group I started, to be a fact, rather than just a "conspiracy"
theory. This includes the attack of banning, used against me by the groups,
"rosacea-support", and "rosacea-knowledge".

I would like to point out, that the following message from Jordan, makes it
almost permanently impossible, to determine if Jordan is really a rosacean cured
by [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], or if it is just another part of a "disinformation
attack".
Drug companies are so powerful, that they would more likely pay off the doctor
concerned to be silent, than to attack her. Perhaps that is what is happening.
In any case,
TIME WILL TELL. Since I know/believe this treatment/cure is the answer to every
rosacean's prayers, I do not intend to give up, ever.

to post, I assume). Here is the message I sent to him. I can understand his
excitement, if this is the real thing!
Dear Jordan has the right, to announce this anywhere he likes, (with my
blessing), but I am paranoid, as everyone knows, about possible "attacks",
against him, or whatever might be done, to disappoint everyone. Let's make sure
this is genuine, before we jump up and down too much, too soon.
Here is a copy of the private message that I sent him:
-----PRIVATE MESSAGE TEXT TO JORDAN FOLLOWS-------
Dear Jordan,
This is surely an exciting time, in the entire history of rosaceans!
I have had to delay postings such as yours, because of possible deception by the
very powerful forces who make money from rosacea, who do not want any cure for
rosacea to exist.
Therefore, your message is being carefully saved, until your statement can be
confirmed. In the long run, it is important that your doctor be willing to
state publicly, that the results from this treatment/cure were indeed good.
Is it possible, that you could reach your doctor, (and the Pharmacist who
supplied you), and find out if they are willing to contact me privately?
Ideally, I need their phone numbers, their snail-mail addresses, and their email
addresses.
If these are not possible to send me, for any reason, I just hope that you
continue to inform me, of whatever you can, concerning your ongoing experience
with this treatment/CURE for rosacea. I very much appreciate your message,
below. It helps to inspire me, that even though this battle is going so much
more slowly than I had hoped, we will win, in the end.
You must know, of course, that proving your good experience, with your doctor's
credible witnessing, is going to help make it possible for over a hundred
million rosaceans to be rid of this disease.
Please reach me privately, at:
<fulltruth40@...>
or at:
<rosacea-cure-owner@yahoogroups.com>

God Bless,
Dave Fleming
-------END OF PRIVATE MESSAGE TEXT TO JORDAN-------

May this be the beginning of the end, for any work to oppose the establishment
of [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], for the treatment/CURE of ALL rosacea. And may
this be the beginning of the beginning, for worldwide rejoicing by ALL
rosaceans.
God Bless,
Dave Fleming

For anyone reading this post, I suggest that you do not read it, unless you have
the time to explore the devious, deceptive methods that I have tried to expose
here. I have assigned the name, (Benedict Arnold Trolle; BAT, for short), to
the person who originated this material.
I do want to thank BAT publicly, because BAT has allowed me to fairly painlessly
expose some of the depths of dark deception, to which enemies of this
treatment/cure for rosacea are willing to descend.
This person could be just a forlorn troll, desperately seeking attention. Or,
they could be a paid "agent provocateur", doing everything in their power, to
stop anyone from being cured of their rosacea, and part of a "Team", if you
will, bent on the destruction of the rosacea-cure group. I personally believe
the latter.
So, if you have a lot of time to spend, enjoy this post. I worked very hard on
it, but you don't really need to know anything here.
God Bless,
Dave Fleming
(BAT ATTEMPTED TO POST THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE, ON THE ROSACEA-CURE BOARD,
RECENTLY. SINCE I HAD BEGUN MODERATING POSTS, I STOPPED IT, AND THE MESSAGES
FOLLOWING THIS FIRST MESSAGE, ARE THE PRIVATE EMAIL, BETWEEN BAT AND MYSELF.
BAT'S NAME HAS BEEN CHANGED, TO PROTECT THE GUILTY, AND TO DEPRIVE BAT OF POWER
IN THIS SITUATION. -editor, Dave Fleming)

Hi Dave,
It's been a while since I've posted,... Also, I
believe you asked me if I was on the payroll of the big drug
companies. I'm not sure if I responded, so I'll start with that. I
am a health care scientist, but NO...I am not on the payroll of any
drug company and will not profit from any statements I make.
(BAT HERE DESCRIBES A JOB THAT BAT SUPPOSEDLY DOES, IN THE HEALTH CARE FIELD.
THERE IS NO REASON TO BELIEVE THAT ANYTHING WHATSOEVER, THAT THIS PERSON STATES
AND/OR CLAIMS, HAS ANY TRUTH IN IT. - editor, Dave Fleming)
With that said I want to ask you again about your claim that this is
a completely benign treatment... And I am going to stand by my
belief that you cannot SAFELY say this without research. As you
know, the DMSO-fluconazole combination has not been evaluated in
controlled clinical trials (if you feel this is wrong-please let me
know),
(I AM LETTING YOU KNOW HERE, BAT. BOTH ORAL FLUCONAZOLE/DIFLUCAN, AND DMSO,
HAVE GONE THROUGH ALL THE EXHAUSTIVE CLINICAL TRIALS REQUIRED BY THE FDA, AND
THEN SOME. THE EXPLANATION OF HOW AND WHY THE FDA HAS ACCEPTED [FLUCONAZOLE 1%
SOLUTION], IS AT:
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/message/18>
BUT YOU ALREADY KNOW THIS, BAT, BECAUSE I EXPLAINED IT TO YOU WEEKS AGO, IN A
PUBLIC POST. - editor, Dave Fleming)
so I ran a literature search on DMSO which is the base you are
using. Here is some of what I found:
DMSO = Dimethyl Sulfoxide
Medical uses: Dimethyl sulfoxide has many applications in medicine.
Therapeutically, it is used as a topical anti-inflammatory. It is
also used in veterinary medicine; in plant pathology and nutrition;
and for the DIFFUSION OF DRUGS, ETC, INTO THE BLOODSTREAM BY TOPICAL
APPLICATION.
Kinetics: Dermal Absorption:
1) DMSO is absorbed systemically (tissues and body fluids) following
topical application.
2) Within 5 minutes of dermal application, DMSO can be detected in
the blood. Within 20 minutes it is throughout soft tissues, within
an hour it is found in bones and teeth.
(THERE IS NO MENTION OF DOSE HERE. HUGE DOSES ON THE ORDER OF 1 mg per Kilogram
of body weight OF THE SUBJECT, WERE INVOLVED. IT IS LIKELY THAT NO MEASURABLE
AMOUNT OF EITHER FLUCONAZOLE, OR DMSO, ARE DETECTABLE, (i.e. MEASURABLE), IN THE
BLOODSTREAM, WITH THE VERY SMALL DOSES USED TO CURE ROSACEA WITH [FLUCONAZOLE 1%
SOLUTION], EVEN THOUGH WE KNOW, THAT, THEORETICALLY, SOME SMALL PERCENTAGE OF
THE APPLIED MED DOES ENTER THE BLOODSTREAM. THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT BAT KNOWS
ALL THIS. - editor, Dave Fleming)
Cautions: Approximately every 6 months, patients receiving DMSO
should have a biochemical screening, particularly liver and renal
function tests and complete blood count. DMSO has been reported to
cause eosinophilia when used topically. Topical DMSO has caused
sedation, neuropathy, headache, and dizziness.
DMSO can cause the liberation of histamine. There have been
occasional hypersensitivity reactions following topical
administration.
If the skin is not clear and dry, water will catalytically react to
produce heat.
(FOR ALL OF THE ABOVE "Cautions", NO MENTION OF THE HUGE DOSES TESTED IS MADE.
AGAIN, THE MINISCULE DOSES USED, OF [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], APPLIED WITH A
Q-TIP, MAKE THESE CAUTIONS UNNECESSARY AND EVEN ABSURD. - editor, Dave Fleming)
Dave,
I could go on (both positive and negative) but I don't want to shut
down everyone's in-box!
(THIS IS A LIE. BAT IS TRYING TO FIND OUT THE IDENTITIES OF ROSACEA-CURE
MEMBERS, AS STATED AT THE END OF THIS MESSAGE. WHAT "ACTIONS" WOULD THEN BE
TAKEN, AGAINST THESE MEMBERS, IS ANYONE'S GUESS. I HAVE BEEN UNDER HEAVY EMAIL
ATTACK BY ATTEMPTED VIRUSES RECENTLY, COINCIDING WITH THE TIME I HAVE BEEN
COMMUNICATING WITH BAT. - editor, Dave Fleming)
I just want every one to realize that if
they test this product they are at certain risk. If nothing else
they need to know about the water reaction. Burns have been reported
due to this.
(THIS IS A LIE, EVEN BY LOOKING AT THE "INFORMATION" SUPPLIED BY BAT, BELOW.
THIS CATALYTIC HEAT CAN BE, AND IS PRODUCED, BUT IT IS INCONSEQUENTIAL, AND EVEN
FELT PLEASANT TO ME, ON MY SWEATY FACE - editor, Dave Fleming)
And DMSO can lead to liver damage (even before the
added risk of fluconazole!) if it is not monitored.
(THIS IS ANOTHER LIE, BECAUSE IT IS BASED ON HUGE DOSES. BAT KNOWS THIS FACT. -
editor, Dave Fleming)
One last thing
and I'll go...please look up Stevens-Johnson Syndrome. It is a rare
effect of fluconazole treatment.
(THIS IS ANOTHER OBVIOUS LIE. BAT KNOWS THIS "EFFECT" IS BASED ON LARGE ORAL
DOSES OF FLUCONAZOLE, IF IT IS TRUE AT ALL. - editor, Dave Fleming)
Yes it is very rare, but it is
possible and in severe cases may lead to death. Dave- I will
separately send you the additional info I have. If anyone else would
like a copy- feel free to contact me privately.
BAT
(HERE IS BAT'S CRAFTY ATTEMPT TO FIND OUT THE IDENTITIES OF ROSACEA-CURE
MEMBERS. I LONG AGO SHUT DOWN THE INTERNAL MEANS FOR MEMBERS TO KNOW WHO OTHER
MEMBERS ARE. THIS WAS THE ONLY WAY LEFT TO FIND OUT WHO MEMBERS ARE, BUT I AM
MODERATING MESSAGES NOW, SO I AM PROTECTING OUR MEMBERS AS WELL AS I KNOW HOW.
I EXPECT THAT THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING OF ATTACKS, AND I HOPE THAT ALL MEMBERS
CARRY THE WORD OF THIS CURE FOR ROSACEA FORWARD, IF ANY OF THESE ATTACKS IS
SUCCESSFUL IN SILENCING ME. - editor, Dave Fleming)

(THE REMAINDER OF THIS POST, IS IN REVERSE CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER. - editor, Dave
Fleming)
Dear BAT,
I did not say you are a duck. :) I said that you may be a "conspiracy theory
devil", in your own words. There are many reasons to believe that you are:
1) You claim you have read all the rosacea-cure posts, but you seem oblivious to
the clear statements in messages #2, and #64, stating the microscopic amounts
of [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], I used to cure my rosacea.
2) You once before publicly attacked this cure for rosacea, and made false
claims about how "dangerous" it is. When I took the time to answer, and I
proved you were wrong, you did not apologize. You waited, joined rosacea-cure,
and then tried to lure rosacea-cure members into contacting you privately, to
find out the "Dangers of DMSO". Only the fact that I had begun Moderating all
messages, saved rosacea-cure members from your moot, nonsensical, alarmist, and
extremely deceptive "information". You obviously did not know I had begun
Moderating.
3) Michael Roberge, R.Ph., my Compounding Pharmacist, informed me that you did
contact him, and he stated to you, that he uses, "pure, pharmaceutical grade
DMSO". To any reasonable person, that means 100% DMSO. But you want the
percentage figure stated, so that you can use it to deceive. Some of the info
you supply below, claims that anything over a 10% solution of DMSO causes
"stinging and burning", (under SUMMARY, below). This is an outright lie. The
100% DMSO used to make [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] never caused any complaints of
stinging or burning, for any of those who have been prescribed this for nail
fungus, in over four years of use. It never caused any stinging or burning, on
my toes, on the thumb of my left hand, on the entire back of my left hand, or on
the large portion of my face including from the side-burn area, all around the
jaw line, and the chin. The only stinging, came from the obviously
rosacea-affected parts of my face, and when I last applied this to my
face, as a test, in January, 2003, there was no stinging on any part of my
face. Your source of information is obviously tainted, by forty years of corrupt
persecution leveled against DMSO, by the FDA, et al, as explained at these two
URLs, and their associated appropriate links:
<http://www.dmso.org/articles/information/jacob.htm>
<http://www.dmso.org/articles/information/muir.htm>
4) Under " DERMATOLOGIC EFFECTS", below, all sorts of side effects are claimed,
BUT NO INFORMATION IS GIVEN, CONCERNING THE DOSAGE OF DMSO INVOLVED, OR EVEN THE
CIRCUMSTANCES OF ITS USE. Again, it is inconceivable, BAT, to claim that this
information has anything whatsoever to do, with applying [FLUCONAZOLE 1%
SOLUTION], in these microscopic amounts, with a q-tip! It certainly appears that
you have tried your best to deceive, here.
  5) A "heat reaction", (if water is present), is mentioned, in both (SUMMARY),
and in, (DERMATOLOGIC EFFECTS), below. You state, in the message you attempted
to post to the group, that burns have been caused. That is a lie, according to
the info you have supplied. At no point, does it say that any burn has been
caused.
You are obviously trying to deviously twist this information, to discredit this
cure for rosacea. The [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], (applied with a regular size
q-tip), did produce an extremely mild heat, when I applied it to my sweaty face,
but it is absurd, to claim that harm could even conceivably be produced by this
type of catalytically caused, extremely mild heat, applying this med with a
q-tip!
6) When you unsubscribed from rosacea-cure, on 15AUG03, there were only two
messages in my inbox. One informed me that you had unsubscribed. The other,
was a 97k message with an attachment, which was obviously a virus. Was it a
coincidence? I don't think so.
7) As one might expect, if you are a cowardly ambush troll, once you could see
that your ambush(s) did not succeed, you feigned how "helpless" you are, and how
much you are "interested" in the "merits of (this) claim". Nevertheless, you
left, immediately. So be it.
I do not have the words, to sufficiently tell you, publicly, how I feel about
your attempts to discredit this most amazing, marvelous, and even glorious
treatment/cure for rosacea. I will say, that the blessing that God gives, to
those who attempt really big time evil, as you have done here, is punishment.
And so, I will say to you,
God Bless,
Dave Fleming

I'm a duck now, huh? That's wonderful.
So you know, I HAVE read all of your posts and I HAVE spoken to your pharmacist.
I will also be downloading the document you spoke of. Thanks for that info.
And no I have not claimed anything about the dosage levels you are using.
(THIS IS A LIE. HERE IS THE QUOTE OF BAT, FROM BAT'S LAST MESSAGE, SHOWN BELOW:
"If someone wants to use this- that's great, but they should know the risks! It
does enter the blood stream and all the tissues of the body. And there are side
effects." THESE LIES ARE WELL CRAFTED, AND CALCULATED TO ALIENATE ALMOST ANY
REASONABLE PERSON, AND PREVENT THEM FROM TRYING THIS TREATMENT/CURE FOR ROSACEA.
- editor, Dave Fleming
I've stated over and over again that I don't know the dosage you are using.
Until I have that info I can't make any conclusions. I have asked both you and
your pharmacist for the concentration of the DMSO. I still don't have that
information. I'm assuming you don't know and he doesn't want to give away the
formula. I can understand why.
This question is not answered in your posts, so sorry if it "bothers you about
me". I am interested in the merits of your claims, but if you cannot offer
complete information then there is nothing more I can do.
I will be leaving your group today.

>Dear BAT,
>If the truth is rude, I apologize to you. I have repeatedly thanked you for
your research. I believe that I will post it, in the future. I also want to warn
you, that you are at risk! I have discovered that over a half million people die
of exposure to water, every year! Please stay away from it!
>This is how you appear to me, BAT. The above statement is just as "true", as
the "Dangers of DMSO" you have found. But a lie that is a half-truth, is ever
the blackest of lies. If I do not include, that the deaths were from drowning, a
five year old is going to suffer a lot of psychological trauma, after being told
the "truth" about water, and then having his Mom offer him a glass of water at
the dinner table.
>But I am not a five year old, so I am telling you, as politely as possible,
that you do not appear to be completely sincere. Not every member of the
rosacea-cure group is in your mind-set. Some have found doctors who have
prescribed this med for rosacea. Why are you not trying to find an MD to allow
you to try this med for yourself?
>You claim that there are side effects, at the dosage levels I have used, from
applying [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]. To my knowledge, that is a lie. Where did
you get this claim? If you really want to know the truth, I am the horse's
mouth. The Compounding Pharmacists are the horse's mouth. The MDs prescribing
this med, are the horse's mouth. I have given you the means of reaching the
Compounding Pharmacist who filled the prescription(s) for me, for this med. Why
have you not tried to reach him? You may not be a devil, but when something
walks like a duck, looks like a duck, acts like a duck, and quacks like a duck,
it is usually a duck.
>The reason I am "giving" incomplete information, is because it is not recorded,
as I have stated to you ad infinitum.
>Another thing, that bothers me about you, is that the questions you are asking
were answered in the most rudimentary posts that have been made. Namely, at:
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/>
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/message/2>
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/message/18>
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/message/64>
>I have publicly repeated this blurb of three key posts "a million times". It is
a sign of someone who is only intent on discrediting this cure for rosacea, that
you have not even read these prime posts. But BAT is an honorable person. BAT is
innocent of any intention of malice. BAT is absolutely sincere, in the search
for truth....
>In message #2, I state that I used a Q-tip, to apply this water-consistency med
to my face. Through rough estimates, in another message, (I forget which one), I
state that dipping the standard sized Q-tip 25-30 times, covers the entire face,
and this may use about one tenth, (or even as little as one fiftieth), of the 30
mL bottle of this med. In message #64, I state that 150 mg of fluconazole are
mixed into the 30 mL bottle of DMSO. So, from one tenth, to one fiftieth of the
30 mL bottle of this med, is used, per each face application. But as I stated to
you before, no one in the Universe knows how much of that application enters the
blood stream, given the "reservoir effect", whereby most of the fluconazole is
likely "kept" in the skin, at the site of application, and most of the DMSO also
does not enter the bloodstream either, from what little is known.
>As for 1998, it came from my Compounding Pharmacist, Michael Roberge, R.Ph.,
and from the only article source I have found on the DMSO-fluconazole mixture,
at the IJPC, (i.e. the International Journal of Pharmaceutical Compounding)
website. I think it is at:
<IJPC.com>
>but I could be wrong. If you put in a "search" for IJPC at the rosacea-cure
group site, it will surely pop up. An article from IJPC costs about $25.00, and
a subscription is about $200.00 a year, if my memory serves me. The article is
[vol. 2 No. 4 July/August 1998, page 299]. It is nothing very interesting,
because it does not give much info on treatment. It just defines how the mixture
is made, with some rudimentary talk about treating nail fungus.
>In my opinion, none of this information, about 1998, or the specific dosage
level, will help you. The only thing that will help you or any rosacean in this
matter, is to try this, with a doctor's guidance. Some, who are more aware of
the benign nature of this topically applied med, will no doubt find a way to try
this without a doctor's guidance. I hope you find a way to try it. You'll like
it, if you are sincere in wanting to rid yourself of rosacea.

>I don't give a damn who the rosacea-cure members are! Don't throw your
accusations at me. I am not one of your conspiracy theory devils. Besides, I am
one of your members... Like everyone else in the group, I'm searching everywhere
I can to find information about rosacea. You're giving incomplete information
though. If someone wants to use this- that's great, but they should know the
risks! It does enter the blood stream and all the tissues of the body. And there
are side effects. I'm not saying anything about efficacy. I have no reason to
doubt that it worked. Actually, it's my opinion that DMSO alone would be
effective. I really don't think you're getting anything from the fluconazole.
But that is just an opinion...

rudeness and accusations! As long as you continue to act like that, please do
not reply again.

somewhere.

research. The facts you raise, however, are moot, because of the microscopically
low blood serum levels, (of both DMSO, and fluconazole/Diflucan), occurring, in
curing rosacea with [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]. Why isn't that fact enough, for
you??????? I know that you know it is true. If you had read all the posts at
rosacea-cure, you would know, that I have fairly clearly defined the amount of
this med I applied. However, no one in the Universe knows, exactly how much
actually enters the bloodstream, except that it is an astronomically microscopic
portion of the already microscopic dosage applied to the face. This makes even
these unknowable facts, moot, as well.
> >One fact about DMSO that was conspicuously missing, from your "info", was
that DMSO is known to create a "reservoir effect" whereby the amount of the
"delivered agent", (in this case fluconazole), is concentrated for relatively
long time periods, in the skin. No one in the Universe knows how or why this
happens.
> >You must also know, that the FDA, et al, have conducted a forty year corrupt
effort, to discredit DMSO, and the info you have supplied, seems tainted by that
fact, because dosage levels and clear descriptions are left out, in almost every
"case". To be fair with you, that is not your fault. But why didn't you
question/doubt this info, as closely as you question/doubt this cure for
rosacea? Some of it is akin to saying that water has been proven to cause death,
to many people....(period?)
> >I am simply "Moderating" all posts now, and until I confirm the (full) truth
in what you have written, it is difficult to justify posting moot information,
don't you agree? You state that "Internet searches are not reliable". You know
that is not true. Garbage in, garbage out is the rule, and each source of info
must be judged case by case.
> >I could not have lost respect or credibility with you, because you have made
it crystal clear, that you have never had those for me anyway, which is OK.
> >I am glad to communicate with you about this, but you have shown more than
one sign, that you are more intent on keeping people away from this cure, than
you are on caring what the actual full truth is, concerning this cure for
rosacea.
> >The most damning evidence, is that you tried to find out who rosacea-cure
members are, by inviting them to write to you privately. Very sneaky, and using
the lame excuse that you did not want to "stuff their inbox". Tsk, tsk. You are
certainly aware, that there are very powerful forces, that do not want to lose
the money they are making off the suffering of rosaceans, and I have come under
heavy "cyber-attacks", and all sorts of things have occurred, such as my being
banned without valid reason, from three major rosacea groups. One of the most
important things these forces would want to know, is who are the rosacea-cure
members. Lo and behold, a person who attacked me, (with moot/false claims, in
rosacea-cure post #131), tries to do the same thing again, but this time tries
to find out who the members are. Nasty, filthy, and as low as one can go, don't
you agree?
> >For another thing, you refer to my statement, that no claims have been made,
that any significant adverse effects or side effects have been caused by this
med. The whole point, is that NO CLAIMS HAVE BEEN MADE. Strangely, you seem to
think that that needs to be proven. Your lack of rationality, on this point,
seems highly suspicious. If you can find the claims, please do. This med was
first created and prescribed in 1998, to my knowledge. You do the math --- from
1998 to 2003 = ?
> >
> >Another problem, is that you seem to think that all the prescriptions written
for this med, and all the usage of this med, MUST BE RECORDED, AND AVAILABLE,
for this cure to be valid. Again, highly irrational thinking. All sorts of meds
are created by Compounding Pharmacists all the time, but none of it is recorded.
To my knowledge, this is also true for ALL prescriptions written, even by common
Pharmacists. None of it is recorded.
> >I am indeed frustrated, that all of the usage of this med is not recorded. I
am also frustrated, that there are so many corrupt people, who put dollar signs
before the untold suffering of rosaceans, when this cure does indeed exist. Why
would you not want to "set up a study", for the sake of all those who are
suffering? I am not asking anyone for any favors, for my sake. Given your record
to date, any study you would "set up", would be rigged to claim this cure is
invalid. I believe it's too late for that, BAT. And I am thanking God for that.
As the song lyrics go, "Time is on my side", and, in this case, on the side of
all suffering rosaceans.
> >I do not think for one second, that you are irrational. You are simply using
tried and true methods of manipulation, in my opinion. If you really want to
help, why not "switch sides". It may make you feel good, to promote the true
cure for rosacea, which finally does exist. When God closes one door, He/She
always opens another. All those making money from the suffering of rosaceans,
will indeed find other ways to make money, once all rosaceans are cured. Of
course, those who resort to "dirty tricks", trying to "bury" this cure, may be
exceptions. I believe God may have special punishments reserved and waiting, for
them.
> >This med is only available by prescription, so how can I be putting anyone at
risk? I believe, (with very good reasons), that this topically applied med is
extremely benign. The medical community that is prescribing it, obviously agrees
with me. It also serves as the first-ever diagnostic tool, for detecting and
defining rosacea. Why aren't you shouting that to the rooftops? It's easy
enough, to "set up a study", to try to discredit that fact alone. It would be
difficult to successfully "rig", though.

The only reference to the dosage used, (that I could find in a short read), in
the material you have supplied, is 1mg/Kg of body weight, per day. Have you any
idea, what a massive dose this is, compared to what is used to cure rosacea with

when she raised some absurd "facts" about DMSO, the DOSAGE LEVEL IS
ASTRONOMICALLY MICROSCOPIC, as this med is used to cure rosacea. In her case, it
was obviously a devious, twisted, intentional attempt to discredit this
treatment/cure for rosacea. In your case, perhaps you are entirely well
intentioned. The result is the same. You are attempting to alienate anyone
possible, without referring to the fact that this med has been prescribed for
over four years, for use on the skin of the fingers and toes, and NO REPORTS
WHATSOEVER, have ever occurred, of any significant adverse effects or side
effects.

send this to them, and see if they are impressed and alarmed....

DIMETHYL SULFOXIDE (DMSO)
MEDITEXT ® - Medical Management
8.0 KINETICS
8.1 ABSORPTION
B. DERMAL
1. Dimethyl sulfoxide is absorbed systemically (tissues and body
fluids) following topical application (Prod Info Rimso-50(R), 1998;
USPDI, 1999).
1. DIMETHYL SULFOXIDE IS ABSORBED SYSTEMICALLY (TISSUES AND BODY FLUIDS)
FOLLOWING TOPICAL APPLICATION (Prod Info Rimso- 50(R), 1998; USPDI, 1999).
2. Within 5 minutes of dermal application, DMSO can be detected in
the blood (Kolb et al, 1975). Within 20 minutes it is throughout soft
tissues, within an hour it is found in bones and teeth.
8.2 DISTRIBUTION
8.2.1 DISTRIBUTION SITES
A. PEAK PLASMA LEVEL
1. Peak levels appeared in 4 to 8 hours after dermal exposure, and
hours after oral use DMSO was not detectable in serum after 120 hours
following oral administration (Hucker et al, 1967).
A. PEAK PLASMA LEVEL
1. PEAK LEVELS APPEARED IN 4 TO 8 HOURS AFTER DERMAL EXPOSURE, AND HOURS AFTER
ORAL USE DMSO WAS NOT DETECTABLE IN SERUM AFTER 120 HOURS FOLLOWING ORAL
ADMINISTRATION (Hucker et al, 1967).
B. TISSUE/FLUID SITES
1. Following rapid absorption, dimethyl sulfoxide is widely
distributed to body tissues and fluids (Prod Info Rimso-50(R), 1998;
USPDI, 1999).
8.3 METABOLISM
8.3.2 METABOLITES
A. GENERAL
1. DMSO is oxidized to dimethyl sulfone (DMSO2) and reduced to
dimethyl sulfide (DMS) (Prod Info Rimso-50(R), 1998; Sweetman, 2001).
2. Dimethyl sulfide appears in the serum 48 hours after an oral dose
and persists for as long as 400 hours (Hucker et al, 1967).
3. Dimethyl sulfone can persist in serum for longer than 2 weeks
after a single intravesical instillation of dimethyl sulfoxide (Prod
Info Rimso-50(R), 1998).
8.4 EXCRETION
8.4.1 KIDNEY
A. DMSO and its metabolites are excreted primarily in the urine and
feces; dimethyl sulfide is also excreted through the lungs and skin
and is responsible for the characteristic odor (garlic-like) from
patients (Prod Info Rimso-50(R), 1998; Sweetman, 2001).
B. It is thought that DMS is responsible for the unusual odor. The
percentage of each compound excreted depends on the route (Kolb et
al, 1975).
8.4.4 OTHER
A. Dimethyl sulfide, a metabolite of dimethyl sulfoxide, is
eliminated in expired air and through the skin, (Prod Info Rimso-50
(R), 1998; USPDI, 1999).
8.5 ELIMINATION HALF-LIFE
8.5.1 PARENT COMPOUND
A. GENERAL
1. DMSO has a shorter half-life, being usually undetectable in 48 to
120 hours.
1. DMSO HAS A SHORTER HALF-LIFE, BEING USUALLY UNDETECTABLE IN 48 TO 120 HOURS.
8.5.2 METABOLITE
A. GENERAL
1. DMSO2 and DMS have long half lives, appearing within 48 hours of
an oral dose and persisting as long as 400 to 500 hours (David,
1972).

MEDITEXT ® - Medical Management
9.0 PHARMACOLOGY/TOXICOLOGY
9.1 PHARMACOLOGIC MECHANISM
C. DMSO has several possible actions.
1. LOCAL ANESTHETIC (Percy & Carson, 1981) - DMSO lowers the
conduction velocity of isolated nerves in ANIMALS, and provided pain
relief equal to morphine when given topically, SQ, IP, and IV, but
not orally (Jimenez & Wilkens, 1982).
2. ANTIINFLAMMATORY ACTIONS may be due to its ability to scavenge
free radicals, stabilize lysosomal membranes (Jimenez & Wilkens,
1982), and produce vasodilation.
3. COLLAGEN - DMSO has an effect on collagen fibers. The mechanism is
unknown but may have to do with dissolving collagen and leaving
elastic fibers intact.
4. FREEZING - There is considerable debate whether DMSO protects
cells from freezing and will reduce increased intracranial pressure.
These effects are still under investigation.
5. CARRIER - DMSO enhances the percutaneous absorption of substances
or molecular weight less than 3,000. It also decreases movement of
water soluble substances once in the skin, thus creating a dermal
reservoir.
5. CARRIER - DMSO ENHANCES THE PERCUTANEOUS ABSORPTION OF SUBSTANCES OF
MOLECULAR WEIGHT LESS THAN 3,000. IT ALSO DECREASES MOVEMENT OF WATER SOLUBLE
SUBSTANCES ONCE IN THE SKIN, THUS CREATING A DERMAL RESERVOIR.
6. DMSO is a free radical hydroxide trapper (Brayton, 1986).
7. In ANIMALS, DMSO temporarily reduced autoantibody levels. Its use
may have a temporary immunosuppressive effect.
9.2 TOXICOLOGIC MECHANISM
A. DMSO enhanced cholinergic contractions in isolated guinea pig
central airways induced by transmural electrical field stimulation
(Schreiber & Slapke, 1990). The authors speculate that enhancement of
neurotransmission might be a possible cause of DMSO-induced
neurotoxicity.
B. DMSO may induce histamine release from mast cells (Brayton, 1986).

3.0 CAUTIONS
3.2 PRECAUTIONS
A. Use with caution in patients with urinary tract malignancies,
since intravesical instillation may be harmful due to DIMETHYL
SULFOXIDE-induced vasodilation
B. Full eye evaluations, including slit-lamp examinations, are
recommended prior to and periodically during treatment
C. Approximately every 6 months patients receiving DIMETHYL SULFOXIDE
should have a biochemical screening, particularly liver and renal
function tests and complete blood count
D. DIMETHYL SULFOXIDE may potentiate the effects of other drugs
administered concomitantly
3.3 ADVERSE REACTIONS
3.3.1 BLOOD
A. HEMATOLOGIC EFFECTS
1. Dimethyl sulfoxide has been reported to cause eosinophilia when
used topically and hemolysis when given intravenously.
3.3.3 CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM
A. NEUROLOGIC EFFECTS
1. Topical dimethyl sulfoxide has caused sedation, neuropathy,
headache, and dizziness. Headache and drowsiness may develop
following administration of sulfoxide by any route. Encephalopathy
has been related to intravenous use. There is some evidence that
dimethyl sulfoxide may decrease cerebral edema.
F. NEUROLOGIC FINDINGS
1. SUMMARY:
a. Topical (1 gram/kilogram/day) dimethyl sulfoxide 80% applied to 60
volunteers for 14 days caused SEDATION (52%), HEADACHE (42%), and
DIZZINESS (18%) (Brobyn, 1975; Council Report, 1982). Headache and
DROWSINESS may develop following administration of sulfoxide by any
route (Reynolds, 1991).

3.3.5 GASTROINTESTINAL
A. GASTROINTESTINAL EFFECTS
1. Commonly reported side effects with dimethyl sulfoxide therapy are
halitosis and taste disorders. Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea,
constipation, and anorexia were also reported. Gastrointestinal side
effects may develop following administration of dimethyl sulfoxide by
any route.
B. ANOREXIA
1. SUMMARY:
a. Anorexia (2%) was seen with topical dimethyl sulfoxide 80% (1
gram/kilogram/day) therapy when administered to 60 volunteers
(Brobyn, 1975).
D. HALITOSIS
1. SUMMARY:
a. GARLIC-LIKE BREATH and ONION-OYSTER-LIKE-BREATH occurs in nearly
100% of patients using topical dimethyl sulfoxide (Brobyn, 1975; John
& Laudahn, 1967), and probably by any other route of administration
as well. The odor on the breath may last up to 72 hours due to the
presence of a metabolite of dimethyl sulfoxide (Prod Info Rimso-50
(R), 1991; Luery et al, 1984).
3.3.6 KIDNEY/GENITOURINARY
A. GENITOURINARY EFFECTS
1. Cystitis, hematuria, hemoglobinuria, diuresis, and hemoglobinuria
have been reported with dimethyl sulfoxide therapy.

3.3.8 OCULAR
A. OCULAR EFFECTS
1. No adverse ocular effects were seen in patients receiving topical
dimethyl sulfoxide solution. Animal studies have documented lens
changes; however, several intensive studies and clinical experience
have failed to document any similar effect in humans.
3.3.9 RESPIRATORY
A. RESPIRATORY EFFECTS
1. Influenza-like syndromes, bronchial asthma symptoms, dry nasal
passages, dyspnea, dry or sore throat, and cough have been reported
with dimethyl sulfoxide use.
3.3.10 SKIN
A. DERMATOLOGIC EFFECTS
1. Skin reactions are one of the most common side effects occurring
with topical dimethyl sulfoxide and include wheals, erythema,
dermatitis, body odor, pruritus, occasional blistering, drying, and
scaling. Painful stinging and burning of the skin has also been
reported. A heat reaction may occur if administered on wet skin.
B. BODY ODOR
1. SUMMARY:
a. A garlic-like body odor that may last up to 72 hours due to the
prolonged presence of dimethyl sulfide, a metabolite of dimethyl
sulfoxide has been reported (Prod Info Rimso-50(R), 1991). A case
report also notes a 64-year-old businessman had a significant clam-
like body odor after ingesting dimethyl sulfoxide orally (1/2
teaspoonful, 99%/day) for 12 years (Dalton et al, 1981).

E. PAIN
1. SUMMARY:
a. Concentrations of greater than 10% dimethyl sulfoxide cause a
stinging and burning sensation. Most therapeutic applications use a
60 to 90% gel or solution. If the skin is not clear and dry, water
will catalytically react to produce heat. Administration of a greater
than 50% solution may cause erythematous reactions (Olson, 1982).
3.3.12 OTHER
B. IMMUNOLOGIC EFFECTS
1. Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) can cause the liberation of histamine.
There have been occasional hypersensitivity reactions following
topical administration. It is also suspected to cause
antiinflammatory activity and immunosuppressive action.
C. HYPERSENSITIVITY
1. SUMMARY:
a. Dimethyl sulfoxide can cause the liberation of histamine. There
have been occasional hypersensitivity reactions following topical
administration. Hypersensitivity reactions have occurred in a patient
receiving intravesical dimethyl sulfoxide (Prod Info Rimso-50(R),
1991). Urticarial rash and even vesicles have been seen possibly due
to the release of histamine with dimethyl sulfoxide use (Luery et al,
1984). Hypersensitivity reactions may occur following administration
of dimethyl sulfoxide by any route (Reynolds, 1991).
2. LITERATURE REPORTS:
a. Dimethyl sulfoxide releases histamine from mast cells, causing
rash, and there have been hypersensitivity reactions. Dimethyl
sulfoxide is a counterirritant (Luery et al, 1984).
D. IMMUNOSUPPRESSION
1. SUMMARY:
a. Dimethyl sulfoxide is also suspected to cause antiinflammatory
activity and possibly an immunosuppressive action (Weetman et al,
1982).
3.4 TERATOGENICITY/EFFECTS IN PREGNANCY
A. TERATOGENICITY
1. U.S. Food & Drug Administration's Pregnancy Category C (Prod Info
Rimso-50(R), 1991).
See Drug Consult reference: "PREGNANCY RISK CATEGORIES"
2. Various teratogenic effects have occurred in various animal
species. There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in
pregnant women. DIMETHYL SULFOXIDE should be used during pregnancy
only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the
fetus (Prod Info Rimso-50(R), 1991).

Has everyone seen the amazing statement by Dr. Lazoff, concerning the usually
misunderstood relationship between flushing and rosacea? Brady Barrows seems to
have asked the most perceptive question I have ever seen, regarding this
widespread confusion. The last message, in this exchange, which contains Dr.
Lazoff's very comprehensive and revealing statement, is at:
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-knowledge/message/2615>
Of course, Dave has stated that he never had the "hot flash" kind of flushing,
that many rosaceans have. Even so, he believes that [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]
will cure all rosaceans. This statement by Dr. Lazoff, seems to prove the
possibility of that belief.

The following was posted on the "rosaceans" group board, on 12AUG03. It began
with discussions of diet, (especially the Atkin's diet), and led to questions,
about the true cause of rosacea.
God Bless,
Dave Fleming

Dave Fleming <fulltruth40@...> wrote:
Dear Marilyn,
You may not be allowing for the fact, that "hydrogenated", or "partially
hydrogenated" fat is put into just about everything, at our supermarkets, and
this fat is alien to our body, since it has never occurred naturally, and is
only used to benefit the manufacturer, to produce a longer shelf-life for the
product. So, virgin olive oil fat is good for you, and that man-made fat is bad
for you.
Since you have to keep repeating the fasting and "cleanses", which seem like
fairly radical methods, I would claim to you, that you have not actually found
the "root cause" of rosacea. I hope the following thoughts will help you, (and
every rosacean), reassess some of your opinions as you state them in your post,
below.
Why is it, that very few will accept the fact, that it could be an outside
"organism", (such as some type of fungi), causing rosacea? There are so many
obvious facts that support this theory.
1) Strangely, even though the "butterfly shaped" area of rosacea is localized
around the moist, perfect environment for fungi, (i.e. the nasal and sinus
areas), no one seems to recognize this as significant, even though we know that
this is an area of the body under constant assault, since we have to breath in
outside air at all times.
2) We all know, that fungal spores are in every breath we take, as the
weatherman tells us every day, with the current level of pollen and mold spore
"count".
3) Any disease, that consistently "goes into remission", and returns, is not
under true "control", but is obviously a running battle, caused by a chronic
cause of some sort, which is only suppressed, and never controlled. We should
say that our rosacea is "under suppression", rather than under control. Given
the human condition, we want to believe the most positive scenario, so we say it
is under control, but all the facts point at it's only being suppressed, unless
we find the "root cause", and find out how to destroy it.
4) There is a rule of Pavlonian Conditioning that says that inconsistent
rewards, for any given behavior, are actually more powerful, than consistent
rewards. So, the dog will salivate even more, every time you ring the bell, if
you do NOT feed him EVERY time. This fits in very well, with how much people
"believe in" their own pet "theory", regarding the "cause" of rosacea. A common
means of manipulating persons who believe we are "lacking", from a religious
viewpoint, or just from a lack of self-esteem, is to tell them they are "dirty",
or "full of toxins". So, we will show you how to "cleanse" yourself, (or your
dirty, dirty, colon and liver). Since the "cleansing" can be an elaborate
stress in itself, many changes will occur in the body, and the person may be
hoodwinked into believing this "helped" them. If the "reward", (i.e. the
temporary lessening of rosacea symptoms), does not come, there is always some
devious, built-in means of "explaining it away", such as, "You must
have eaten something not in tune with your body type" or, "You must have been
angry about something", etc, etc, etc. When you see such a "system", follow the
money. In the end, profit is the only real motivation for the existence of that
system. Since so many Americans have bad eating habits, and even bad living
habits, (such as no exercise), we are particularly vulnerable to spending money
on such "systems of healing". So, we are led down many dead ends, because we do
not know the real root cause of rosacea. Once the means of destroying that root
cause is discovered, all the other claims, which involve only temporary
suppression of rosacea symptoms, will fade away. Notwithstanding the confusing
effects of the ups and downs of our immune system, on rosacea symptoms, once we
hypothesize the existence of an outside organism being the root cause of
rosacea, it will become more and more obvious, how unlikely it was all along,
that such a highly localized disease could be "caused"
by any inner deficiencies of the body.
5) The most distinctive attribute of the realm of fungi, is that they have
learned how to live without any direct dependence on light. Intuitively
speaking, this would explain why laser/IPL treatments might "discourage" the
fungi causing rosacea, since the obvious examples of fungus in our everyday
experience, like mushrooms, are inhibited by sunlight, and only flourish in
shaded, or completely dark areas. Intuitively, we might also think that saline
solutions might give some temporary relief, by creating a "discouraging
environment" for the fungi causing rosacea.
6) Known fungal diseases, such as candida, have proven to be quite hardy, and
extremely opportunistic in their ability to destroy bacteria, which are in
competition with the fungi, for food sources. This extraordinary ability has
produced the antibiotics, which we have used so effectively in combating certain
bacterial diseases. This same hardy ability to "survive", would make it
reasonable to extrapolate the existence of a "stealthy", extremely persistent
fungi, impossible to detect by any standard test, but capable of surviving many
types of treatment, and continuing to "grow back", (albeit, extremely slow
growth), which would explain the tendency of rosacea symptoms to "go into
remission and return", but tend to progressively worsen, over many years.
7) For a wider discussion of the concepts of lifestyle and "genetic medicine",
and relationship/effects on the treatment/cure of rosacea with [FLUCONAZOLE 1%
SOLUTION], see:
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/message/152>
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/message/153>
I hope that point number (4), above, will be especially useful, in convincing
many rosaceans that they are "barking up the wrong tree", concerning the "root
cause" of rosacea. As this new, unique treatment/cure for rosacea is
established, all other methods for "suppressing" rosacea symptoms will slowly
become known to be inadequate. This is not to say that some light fasting, and
perhaps many other regimens, (that temporarily enhance our immune system), are
not positive in many ways. But they will no longer have any place in "treating"
rosacea symptoms.
All the most important facts, about this new, one-and-only true treatment/cure
for rosacea, are at:

It is the long term effects I have concern about.
Too many cancers such a breast cancer are CAUSED by a HIGH FAT diet!.
To anyone here who says no it is not,I tell you yes it is.
The proof is all there.
Women in other cultures who eat rice, grains, lentils, fruit and vegetables have a
very low ,almost non-existent case of breast cancer.
In India it is virtually unheard of!.
Until they move to North America and adopt our wonderful high fat, greasy, fast
food diet.
Then they get sick.
This is not a cancer forum,it is a rosacea forum so I wont get into the factual
statistics of low cancer rates in other countries.(They also do NOT have the
SKIN PROBLEMS that WE have I might add)
Its all in the DIET.
Brady,s book has really helped a lot of folks with rosacea.
I have read the testimonials.
But for me,I would rather work on the *cause* of rosacea and eliminate the cause
which is toxins, and toxic poisons in the liver.
You CANT have a bad complexion if your colon and liver are clean.
And yes, Brady sugar IS a poison.
One reason why your diet works so well for rosaceans.
But it is a very HARD diet to stick to for the rest of ones life.
lol
I would rather find the cause, and eliminate the problem altogether.
I feel that I have done that and I am in remission because of it and nothing
makes me flare up anymore.
I live my life as I want enjoying the summer weather, cold beer and spicey food.
I can do these things because I have gone after the CAUSE and eliminated the
problem.
I do regular fasts cleanse my colin and liver.
I tell you,it works!.

p.s.,Brady I love your book and what you have done for rosaceans.
But I have always had concern for a high fat diet and I have made it no secret
on this forum.
That is only where I am coming from.

Have a great day!
Bye for now

   Onelove,

There is a plethora of scientific papers browbeating
Atkins, Drs. Eades and any low carb high protien diet.
There are also a growing number of scientific papers
showing the healthy effects of a low carb high protein
diet. Here is just one link for scientific reports on
the healthy effects of eating low carb >

   http://www.lowcarb.ca/

Any search on a search engine will give you a number
of sites indicating low carbohydrate is healthy. The
facts are that Americans have been eating high
carbohydrate for the past thirty years or more and a
whopping fifty five percent are obese. Diabetes grows
at a similar rate. Rosacea rates have too!

Yes the complex carbohydrates are better than the
simple carbohydrates. There is not a diet guro on the
planet who would knock vegetables. Even Atkins
says to eat them. Vegetables with a low glycemic
index are healthy for everyone. Even you have
stated in past emails that the simple carbohydrates like
starch and sugar are not healthy. Atkins validates
this as well. Many have found that the Atkins diet
does control rosacea while losing weight.

To all rosacea-cure members,
Laughing in the bright sunlight, soaking in the rays, giving our pineal glands a
healthy workout, and still avoiding the burn or reaction, (with no side
effects), are the goals.
The sunscreen poll, (which is now open), at the group
(rosaceans@yahoogroups.com), just might give us some of the knowledge we need,
to keep cool.
We also have the bonus, when we vote, of knowing that our vote is helping every
other rosacean.
If you prefer not to be a member of the "rosaceans" group, just join, vote, read
the poll results, and unsubscribe. It only takes a couple of minutes, and,
hopefully, if enough people vote, we will all benefit.
God Bless,
Dave Fleming

Dr. Mercola's "blog" made the following statement. Since I am a bit cynical, I
cannot "hear" his talk about "electromagnetic frequency", but I do believe I
hear his heart of hearts, and deep inside, I do agree with him, that everyone
could benefit, if we send out positive "vibes", as we called them in the 1960s.
So, may the positive electromagnetic frequency be with you...., and with all the
MDs, whose help we desperately need, to prescribe [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], to
cure every rosacean....

Why Do Doctors Kill Themselves?
How tragically sad, that doctors who are so committed to helping people, kill
themselves, because they are unable to help their patients. (See BBC News
"suicide article", at the end of this statement.)

How can they?

They are in a losing battle, trained in a fatally flawed paradigm that is
designed to enrich the drug companies at the expense of healing the consumer.
The doctors are every bit the victims, as the consumer, as the drug company
spends around $10,000 every year, to influence their behavior in prescribing
drugs. (See "doctor payoffs" article, at:
<http://www.mercola.com/2002/mar/9/doctor_payoffs.htm>
The logical consequence for most doctors, is to believe what they are fed, and
become enormously frustrated that they are unable to help the people who seek
their help in recovering from illness, at the deepest levels.

All too frequently, doctors are unknowing pawns in the drug company game. It
starts the moment they enter med school, and has an over 99% success ratio in
brainwashing new doctors to their point of view. I know, because I was there,
and came out on the wrong side of the fence.

So what is the answer?

I will relate more in an upcoming story, but I believe the answer is to avoid
having negative feelings towards the drug company. Negative feelings actually
generate a specific electromagnetic frequency that actually attracts more of the
behavior to society.

What is the alternative?

I believe that we need to focus hard and imagine and feel what it would be like,
to have the drug company on our side, and actually fighting the good fight, and
using their resources to help mankind, rather than line their pockets, so
doctors like this don't have to kill themselves.

So focus hard for several minutes a day, so you can serve as a mini
electromagnetic generator, and feel exactly what it would be like, to have good
drug companies using all their incredible power and influence, for good.

The following post about sunscreens, was prepared to help facilitate an upcoming
poll about sunscreens, in the "rosaceans group", at URL:
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosaceans/message/1643>
with the voting site, at:
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosaceans/surveys?id=11169123>
I encourage all rosacea-cure members to participate in that poll, if you find it
possible to do so. Correct sunscreen usage, which is surrounded by a lot of
controversy, should be of interest to all of us, even after we are cured of our
rosacea.
God Bless,
Dave Fleming
-------SUNSCREEN POST TEXT FOLLOWS-------
It seems to me that the FDA's system of judging sunscreens, is not entirely fair
to "mineral makeups". For one thing, the FDA has made the term "sunblock"
illegal. Physically blocking the sun, is exactly what mineral makeup does. For
another thing, "chemical" sunscreens can cause photosensitization in the skin,
and they "wear out" fairly quickly, once they absorb a certain amount of
sunlight. Mineral makeup, by definition, is inert, and can never cause any skin
"reaction", and it can never "wear out". These facts are not included in the
FDA system. The following material, from the jane iredale website, covers this
info, and a lot more, concerning the inside facts about "sunscreens", as at:
<http://www.janeiredale.com/janesguide/janesguide.html#qa>
I hope this info helps, in the upcoming rosaceans poll about sunscreens.
God Bless,
Dave Fleming
-------MATERIAL FROM JANE IREDALE WEBSITE FOLLOWS-------
SPF and FDA
What is an SPF rating?
Sun Protection Factor (SPF) refers to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's
(FDA) approved techniques to assess the efficacy of a sunscreen in the
Ultraviolet B (UVB) portion of the spectrum. An SPF rating does not measure
Ultraviolet A (UVA) protection.
The textbook definition of SPF is the ratio of the time of ultraviolet radiation
(UVR) exposure necessary to produce minimally detectable erythema in
sunscreen-protected skin to that time required to produce the erythema in
unprotected skin. A typical testing protocol is as follows: skin in a
non-skin-exposed area, such as the buttocks or lower back, is covered with
light-proof adhesive foil; 1-cm areas of foil are removed sequentially so that
each area receives a defined dose of UVB. The following day, the patient returns
to be examined and areas are assessed for erythema (redness).
So, the SPF number gives you some idea of how long you can stay in the sun
without burning. For example, if you normally burn in 10 minutes without
sunscreen and you've applied a liberal dose of a sunscreen with an SPF number of
15, you should be protected from sunburn for 150 minutes. This does not mean
that you are protected from other radiation damage. A broad spectrum sunscreen
is required to give protection in the UVA range as well.
A very water-resistant rating is given if that same sunscreen still tests at the
same SPF after being applied to human subjects and submerged in moving water for
four 20-minute immersions. Our powders achieved an SPF 20 for the loose bases
and an SPF 17 for the pressed. They all received a Very Water Resistant rating.
Under the new FDA monograph, it is no longer permissible to claim a "Water
Proof" rating.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
What's the difference between a sunscreen and a sunblock?
Under the new FDA monograph the word "Sunblock" is no longer allowed. The FDA is
trying to eliminate any confusion the public may have or sense of false
security. However, the titanium dioxide and zinc oxide in our bases literally
block UV rays by acting like tiny mirrors on the skin reflecting and refracting
the light. Most chemical sunscreens have highly efficient absorption
capabilities through the UVB, partly the UVA, and in some instances infrared
wavelengths. Once the chemicals have absorbed their limit, the sunscreen ceases
to be effective. (Absorption is the process in which light is "lost" when it
falls on a material. The light is not actually lost, but is converted into some
other energy, such as heat.)
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Dr. Nicholas J. Lowe and Dr. Josia Friedlander, both from the Skin Research
Foundation of California, said in their recent book Sunscreens: Development,
Evaluation, and Regulatory Aspects: A new subclass of physical blockers,
micronized reflecting powders, have more recently been made available from a
variety of manufacturers. Unlike traditional physical blockers, micronized
reflecting powders are less visible, yet provide broad-spectrum protection
against UVR. These should prove useful in UVR-sensitive patients resistant to
older physical blockers for cosmetic reasons. An additional benefit is that they
do not cause photosensitization.
Not all mineral powders have an SPF rating. If they do, the SPF rating must be
specified on the label.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
How much sunscreen must be applied to get the protection advertised?
Much more than you think! At a recent conference of dermatologists, we learned
that if you imagine your cupped hand mounded with shaving cream, that's the
amount you must apply to achieve the SPF rating that the product claims. The FDA
suggests: to get the maximum protection from your sunscreen, apply at least one
large handful about 30 minutes before you go outside, and reapply after
swimming, toweling dry, or participating in any vigorous activity that causes
heavy perspiration.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXx
Is it necessary to wear additional sunscreens when using the minerals?
No. You may if you wish. We always believe that you can't wear too much
protection in the sun. However, be careful of comedogenic or sensitivity
reactions to some chemical sunscreens. Because our minerals provide a physical
sunscreen, there are no chemicals to be absorbed by the skin that could cause
reactions.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
How do you increase the sun protection?
Our makeup has a certified SPF 17 for the pressed bases and SPF 20 for the
loose. This was achieved by an FDA approved laboratory using one light coverage
on human subjects. The light coverage was applied with a brush just the way you
would use it if you were applying a normal makeup. When the tester applied a
second layer, the protection increased. The increase in protection will, of
course, depend on how much you apply.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
What does a water- and perspiration-proof rating mean?
Under the new FDA monograph, no manufacturer is now allowed to claim a "water
proof" rating. The highest nomenclature that is allowed is "very water
resistant." This is a rating allowed by the FDA when a product has successfully
completed its criteria for underwater testing. It requires that product be
placed on a human subject and immersed in moving water for 80 minutes. The SPF
is then tested. In the case of our makeup, it maintained its SPF and, therefore,
acquired a "very water resistant" rating.
It applies to our mineral powders this way. If you are perspiring heavily or
swimming or you've been caught in the rain, don't wipe your face with the towel
-just pat it. You may remove a small amount of the makeup, but the majority will
stay on the skin. Dancers have found jane iredale to be much easier than usual
makeup because they don't have to keep reapplying it during performance. If you
are exercising in the sun, it would be wise to brush on another layer of
minerals after you've dried you face.
