The answer to your question is a bit complicated, but extremely easy to
understand. The short answer, is YES, and NO, concerning "thorough scientific
studies". The SAFETY of both DMSO and of fluconazole, SEPARATELY, have long ago
passed all the exhaustive FDA standards, and been approved by the FDA.
This TOPICALLY APPLIED benign MIXTURE of the two, does not require such
"redundant studies", to be fully acceptable to the FDA, as it is approved for
use by individual USA doctors, for "new indications", (i.e. to treat/cure
maladies other than the ones the FDA originally approved these drugs for). Such
is the vagueness, of our USA "medical system".

These facts mean that you now have the cure for rosacea available to you,
legally and ethically from your doctor, even though (DMSO + fluconazole) has not
gone through any "thorough clinical studies", MIXED TOGETHER AND APPLIED
TOPICALLY.

But this "topically applied mixture" is KNOWN TO BE BENIGN, by any knowledgable
doctor, even though they may NOT know, that it cures rosacea, and many other
skin diseases.
If for any reason your doctor fails to prescribe this for your rosacea, at your
request, you should FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR WHO WILL.

So, dear Gloria, you can either be among the first cured of rosacea, or among
the last. That is the choice now available to all those rosaceans who continue
