Important: For Doctors Who Prescribe [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] For   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #190 of 291 |
For Everyone,
Hopefully, it will be very soon, that millions of rosaceans will be getting rid
of their rosacea with [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION].
In prayer recently, it came to me that there is one major PRECAUTIONARY NOTE to
teach, that I have not really stated clearly, to date.
This identically same message is posted two times, for the sake of emphasis, in
messages #189, and #190, each with a different Subject Heading.

PRECAUTIONARY NOTE
Before applying [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] on your face, make certain that you
wash your face, (or wipe your face thoroughly with a wet cloth or tissue, if you
do not tolerate soap well), to remove any and all topical substances you have on
your face. The reasoning for this, is that the DMSO, (i.e. Dimethyl Sulfoxide),
in the [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] formula has the capability of transporting the
molecules of most substances on your face, deeply into your skin, with some of
these molecules even entering your bloodstream, and circulating throughout your
body. Therefore, by the same reasoning, no other topical substance(s) should be
applied immediately after applying this med, unless the skin has been wiped
clean of any excess, unabsorbed [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION].
Although this possible absorption of unwanted substance(s) would probably have
no discernable detrimental effect(s), it might conceivably cause some sort of
unwanted effect(s). If you have no substance(s) on your face, then there is no
need to clean the skin, before applying [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION].

In rosacea-cure message #2, I stated that, after the first couple of months of
intensive, sometimes multiple times per day "treatments/applications" of
[FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], I only applied this med 3 or 4 more times during the
next few months. But when I applied it, I would sit for 4 or 5 hours, (while
watching TV), and apply it ten times or more, with each application taking 15 to
30 minutes, to be completely absorbed. When doing this, I kept making
applications, until there was little or no stinging, when the tenth application
of the med was applied. Then, a few days later, I did this again, onto the
peeling skin, which retained more of the water-thin [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION],
which would take perhaps 5 or more applications, before there was little or no
stinging. Then, it would take at least two weeks or more, for the pink color
and peeling to go away, leaving skin that was much more healthy than before the
treatment.
I apologize for not making this more clear before now, but it is only through
responding to those who are now using [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], that I have
been forced to remember this and to make this clear. One person in particular,
is telling me that they feel that long-term daily applications are giving them
the best results.
I can see now, that I did not want to wash my face every day, (so that I could
prevent contamination of the bottle of med, when I dipped the q-tip 25-30
times), so I tended to apply many applications of med at one time, and then wait
two weeks or longer, until the pinkness and peeling were gone completely, and
healthy skin had grown in, before further applications of the med. IT NEVER
OCCURED TO ME AT THE TIME, THAT I SHOULD AVOID THE POSSIBILITY OF OTHER TOPICAL
SUBSTANCES BEING CARRIED INTO THE SKIN BY THE DMSO IN THE FORMULA, BUT MY METHOD
OF ALWAYS WASHING MY FACE BEFORE APPLICATION OF THE MED, ALWAYS PREVENTED THIS
POSSIBILITY.
SO, EITHER DAILY APPLICATION, (ON CLEAN, WASHED SKIN), OR MY METHOD OF
APPLICATION, MAY BOTH BE JUST AS GOOD METHODS, ALTHOUGH IT WOULD SEEM EASIER TO
ME, TO NOT HAVE TO DAILY WASH OFF ANY SOOTHING TOPICALS, (OR MAKEUP, ETC) ONE
MIGHT USE.
MWMWMWMWMWMWMWMWMWMWMWMWMWMWMWMWMWM
I now believe that a huge concentration of fluconazole/Diflucan, (such as ten
percent), might be much more effective and efficient, so that one would not need
to apply the med so many times, and ESPECIALLY TO TREAT THE INSIDE OF THE NOSE,
WHERE NASAL SECRETIONS, (WHICH INCREASE WITH THE STINGING), TEND TO WASH AWAY
THIS LIQUID MED, BEFORE IT IS ABSORBED COMPLETELY, WHICH SEEMS TO MAKE THE
CARTILAGE OF THE SEPTUM IN THE NOSE VERY RESISTANT TO THIS TREATMENT.
However, I could be wrong in thinking that the (DMSO + ten percent
fluconazole/Diflucan) would be better. Another reality, is that the 15 ML bottle
of [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] I used, contained just 150 mg. of
fluconazole/Diflucan, which is considered the safe, one-time dose of ORAL
fluconazole/Diflucan used to cure a woman's yeast infection, with minimal or no
side-effects. If an insane person were to swallow the whole 15 ML in the
bottle, one would expect no really bad effects. But a 15 ML bottle of (DMSO +
ten percent fluconazole/Diflucan), would contain 1,500 mg of
fluconazole/Diflucan, which might be more likely to cause bad side effects, ONLY
IF THE WHOLE 15 ML WERE SWALLOWED BY AN INSANE PERSON. Even then, the (DMSO +
ten percent fluconazole/Diflucan) mixture might be confined to the lining of the
mouth, esophagus, and stomach, (because the DMSO and fluconazole are bound
together in some way), rather than going fully into the bloodstream, as ORAL
fluconazole/Diflucan does,
and therefore might still cause little or no really bad effects.
In any case, if there is full trust, between the doctor and the patient, or if
the doctor only supplies the (DMSO + ten percent fluconazole/Diflucan) as an
in-clinic application/treatment, I believe that this much higher concentration
might be more effective and efficient, to treat/cure rosacea. Again, this is
only my educated guess, and I could be completely wrong in this/my opinion, but
it is not difficult to try it, and find out if the higher concentration would be
much more effective and efficient, in treating/curing rosacea.
Are there any caring and courageous doctors out there, who will write
prescriptions, for (DMSO + ten percent fluconazole/Diflucan), to help rosaceans
get rid of their rosacea?
In the beginning, I made the following statement in May 2003, in rosacea-cure
message #2:
"I believe it does not matter what you apply at other times, and in fact I
needed to sooth the skin in any way I could, to help it heal back with healthy
skin, after destroying this integral enemy embedded in the skin, (i.e. is it
fungus?).
However, I did try to apply this only to clean skin after washing, if only to
prevent the bottle of FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION from being contaminated
by whatever creme I might use on my face, by dipping the q-tip into the bottle
about 25 or 30 times, which is what it takes to cover the whole face, (except I
did not apply it around the eyes)."
Also, in rosacea-cure messages #72, #73, #75, #76, #81, #82, #84, #85, and #86,
a URL was given for a website that sells simple DMSO. There it states:
"DMSO has the unique ability to penetrate the skin barriers and traverse the
body quickly…. DMSO is also a carrier. Doctors are using DMSO to carry other
medical substances into the body, (through the skin), making these substances
much more effective.
Since DMSO is a carrier it could carry a toxic material that was on the skin
into the body. Having toxic material on the skin is certainly rare but if you
were working with, for example, a pesticide, you should simply wash the skin
thoroughly before applying DMSO."
In the same rosacea-cure messages, a URL is listed, where a link connects to:
<http://www.jacoblab.com/>
and then to:
<http://www.jacoblab.com/dmso_protocols.htm>
where Dr. Stanley W. Jacob, the renowned "Father of DMSO" since 1964, has the
following PRECAUTIONARY NOTE, concerning the use of simple DMSO:
"Wash hands before use. The area to be treated should be dry and clean. DMSO
will carry with it other chemicals with a molecular weight of less than 1000 but
will not transport bacteria or viruses. DMSO dries in 30 minutes."
Incidentally, the website at:
<https://www.k9bytes.com/JacobLab/Order.htm>
only shows 70% DMSO, (i.e. with 30% water), and 50% DMSO, (i.e. with 50% water)
solutions, but to purchase the 100% DMSO, (i.e. with no water), which is the
same concentration used in [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], you need simply to call
the toll free ordering number, at:
(866) 375-2262
or, if you are in the state of Oregon, USA, at:
(503) 636-1280
Simple DMSO is relatively inexpensive, at about $25.00 per 8 ounces, and is
available without any need for a doctor's prescription. It is recommended for a
wide variety of ailments, as at the URL:
<http://www.jacoblab.com/FAQs.htm>
It is the 100% concentration of DMSO that was used to make [FLUCONAZOLE 1%
SOLUTION], as is described in rosacea-cure message #170, as at:
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rosacea-cure/message/170>
For over five years, since 1998, [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION] has been prescribed
and used to cure nail fungus, with no reports of any significant adverse effects
or side effects. But there are very few topical substances that are normally
used, on the toes or on the fingers where nail fungus is found, so there would
normally be no substance(s) there, that the DMSO in the formula could transport
into the skin.
On the skin of the face, however, there are so many topical substances applied,
that it would be literally almost impossible, just to name them all. For
example, the list of ingredients of the "anti-inflammation cream", which I
highly recommend in rosacea-cure message #187, is as follows:
INGREDIENTS: Demineralized spring water, glyceryl stearate, soybean oil,
stearyl stearate, vegetable oil, cetyl alcohol, soy phospholipid liposome gel,
alpha lipoic acid, DMAE bitartrate, ascorbyl palmitate (vit C ester), whole
wheat protein, tocopheryl acetate (vit E), retinyl palmitate (vit A),
ergocalciferol (vit D), aloe vera gel, allantoin, citric acid, polysorbate 20,
simethicone, xanthan gum, methylparaben, propylparaben, imidazolidinyl urea.
My guess, is that most of the above listed ingredients have a molecular weight
that is less than 1,000, and some of these ingredients' molecules would
therefore be transported into the skin and bloodstream by the DMSO in
[FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]. Would this cause any discernable problems or
effects? My educated guess, is that such effects would be insignificant,
because the amount of molecules involved would be so small, and these molecules
are not toxic. However, it is best to err on the side of caution, and be sure
to wash your face, (or wipe it well), to remove any substances there, before you
apply the [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]. On the other hand, if you do not have any
topical substances on your face, you do not need to wash your face before
applying this med, no matter how long it has been since you last washed your
face.
I hope that this message serves to clarify and clear up this question. Given
the fact that some rosaceans do not tolerate soap well, my opinion is that any
topical substance on the face should simply be minimized. So, for example, if
you have used jojoba oil, to clean and/or to moisturize your face, my opinion
would be that removing this oil with a wet cloth or tissue would be sufficient
to prevent any possible problem(s). After all, it is obviously only toxic
substances, such as pesticides, that are of real concern, to prevent them from
being transported into the body by the DMSO in [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]. It is
even possible, that a few molecules of jojoba oil, transported into the skin,
might actually be beneficial. But since no one can say with authority, whether
any problem(s) might be caused by applying this med on top of any other topical
substance on the face, we should be sure to educate every rosacean, to routinely
minimize and eliminate any topical substances on
the face, before applying [FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION]. Also, no other topical
substance(s) should be applied, immediately on top of the application of
[FLUCONAZOLE 1% SOLUTION], unless it has been completely absorbed, and the face
is washed or wiped clean.
God Bless,
Dave Fleming
