This is the Rochester NY Chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation (WAPF). WAPF is a nonprofit organization founded in 1999 to disseminate the research of nutrition pioneer Dr. Weston Price, whose studies of isolated nonindustrialized peoples established the parameters of human health and determined the optimum characteristics of human diets.

The Foundation is dedicated to restoring nutrient-dense foods to the human diet through education, research and activism. It supports a number of movements including accurate nutrition instruction, organic and biodynamic farming, pasture-feeding of livestock, community-supported farms, honest and informative labeling, prepared parenting and nurturing therapies.

The Rochester NY chapter hosts events reflecting the above mentioned areas. Additionally, we share recipes, health-related resources and on-going support to assist those pursuing a nutrient-dense diet.

Our Yahoo group is new, so please share your thoughts with us on how we might expand this to better serve all of our members. And, please share your recipes and other WAPF interests with us.
