This support group is restricted and for the private use of parents active in the River Region Autism Support Group, based in Montgomery, Alabama. It will be used to connect the parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders for the purposes of sharing information, discussing treatment and educational options and for fellowship. To that end, medical and educational service providers are prohibited to ensure privacy and encourage open discussions. All communications should be respectful in nature and be private, seen only by those who are members of the webgroup. Please don't quote anyone or discuss anyone else's comments without permission from that contributor. Disagreements should be handled with care so as to not offend others. At the same time, we all should remember that it is okay to disagree and not be too sensitive. This can be an exciting tool for us as we strive to improve the situations of our incredible kids.
