This group is especially for people with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), but anyone who would like to read about or discuss the experience of taking low dose naltrexone (ldn) for autoimmune disease is welcome.

Some people suggest that "rheumatoid arthritis" is a misleading name for a disease that is often thought of as just another form of arthritis. They suggest it should be renamed, for instance, "Rheumatoid AutoImmune Disease – RAID".

We think there's a lot to be said for this but that it could entail problems, above all, would it be as easy for people to find information when they only know it as "RA"? On the other hand RA is not just another form of arthritis. *It is a symptom (maybe only one, maybe the most obvious) of auto immune disease, and auto immune disease can be life threatening* – see:-

2/be a place for questions and discussions specific to RAID/ldn where they won’t be lost in larger lists
