Re: [resveratrol-users] [Fwd: Scientific black out of resveratrol science]

Yes, I currently take 500 mg daily, one dose in the morning.  Over the past two years I have experimented with doses ranging to over 2 grams, BID.

I do not use a commercial brand.  I have been in the botanical extract business in non-supplement areas, but am able to get very high quality extracts that test well.

FWIW, I believe it's also important to supplement with CoQ10 with resveratrol, to provide an NAD substrate for P53 acetylation.

Max,

Do you take Resveratrol?

If so, what dosage and brand
are you taking?

500mg is a lot - a lab study, I think, showed it shortened lifespan in the test (non-human) subjects. Personally I take 100mg in the AM Longevinex. Very happy...
