Hi Lisa,
Have you done a Google search for RSD? It stands for Reflex Sympathic
Dystrophy and it's pretty terrible. You might get some relief if you
find a qualified Lymphatic Drainage therapist who is trained in the
Foldi method. There used to be a center in NYC that trained therapist
who live all over the world. You could try calling 1-800-MD-LYMPH. I
don't know if the number is still in operation, but they are excellent.
Lymphatic drainage causes the nerves to calm down, exactly what you
need. You may also try looking for a massage therapist who is
certified in cranio-sacral techniques. Contact the American Massage
Therapy Association (AMTA) in Illinois and they should be able to give
you direction on how to find a certified therapist.
Good luck, there is an answer out there and if you search long enough
you'll find it.
Julie
