The main reason you need another surgery is because the pressure on the
median nerve was caused by something outside of the carpal tunnel. Go
to www.aboutcts.com and read about the muscles that impact the median
nerve and why you don't need surgery to release the tension on the
nerve. All another surgery will do is cause more scar tissue within
the area that was once a tunnel.
