I am desperately looking for a 'hands-on' therapist in the
SF Bay area. I have seen a feldenkries therapist and another
therapist who had me do little exercizes. I was told by the
last guy to go to a gym, which I have - doing light weights
and stretching and flapping around in the pool a little. My
problem is in my neck/shoulder/radiates-to-little-finger area.

I have been dealing with this for 6 years, and while I've
become more accustomed to pain, the fact is, I am not getting
any better. It just goes up and down. I can't pinpoint
anything that makes it better, just the stuff that makes it
worse (like sitting here typing this ...) I am probably
more active now (stretching, walking, going to the gym) than
I ever have been as an adult, so its not like I'm just vegging.
Sometimes I am so tight in my neck I feel like I can't hold my
head up.

Anyhow, any suggestions I'd appreciate. I'd like to work with
someone a little more proactive (the feldenkreis person was,
it just didn't do much for me in the long run).

Thanks,
d
