A friend of mine had it on both hands, first one and then the other, and she was told to expect to be out for 3 months, 6 weeks per hand.  She went back to work, on a computer, of course, earlier than that, and I think she was foolish to do so.  Give your hands as much time to heal as you possibly can!  Just my 2 cents there.

I am exploring massage therapy, and I like what I am hearing from my therapist, and I LOVE the way I feel.  I think I am also experiencing some arthritis in my hands, because I have a lot of stiffness in the fingers, especially when I am at rest.  She says that all our nerves have their roots in the spine and neck, and by having the surgery, you are really just treating the area where the symptoms are manifesting themselves the worst.  You have to dig deeper and treat the cause of those symptoms, the nerves in the neck/spine areas.
