Hi there - I also have CTS too, and, though I haven't been diagnosed with thoracic outlet syndrome, I KNOW something is going on in my shoulder area. When I lie down to nurse my baby, my hand will get numb from that, so I think there's something more going on. I did go through some physical therapy, and I should be working on my posture. . .
 
I'm really interested in learning more about alternative treatments, such as massage and acupuncture that you mention. I just don't know where to get started with that and I don't want to waste my money. Anyone get any help from chiropractic?
 
One more question - I know estrogen can increase CTS symptoms, but I'd like to know if progesterone does too. A few places I've read that it actually could help, but nothing really definitive.
