Re: [repetitivestrain] Surgery

wow steven,

You're so young to have this. If you are asking these questions, maybe you're not quite ready or informed about the surgery enough??? I'm sorry to sound judgemental. These are things you really should discuss with your doctor BEFORE you get cut. I have cts, tos and cubital tunnel syndrome. My doctor kept pressuringme to have the surgery and when I went for a second opinion, my new doctor was against mehavign the surgery since I had been diagnosed for less than ayear. He didn't recommend the surgery fo rme, and I am again with another doctor who finally doagnosed the tos and cubital tunnel syndrome. I think if I had gotten the carpal tunnel release, it woul dnot have mattered since my problem originated at my shoulders. Actually, i have found a great deal of relief from massage and acupuncture.

Good luck!!

-j
