Hi, Im a new member.
I was diagonsed with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome when I was 16. Im 17 now,
and am having the operation on Monday 11th February.

Can anyone who has had the operation tell me what the procedure is,
and also the recovery period?
I'm having a local anthesitic. Is this usual?
How long before I'll be able to write again after the Op?
Has anyone else my age had CTS? As I thought it only occured in
middle aged women, mainly typists etc.


Any additional information would be gratefully received
