I'm in the state of Georgia and there are no requirements to practice, but
if I want to have insurance anyway, what do I need to do to get it. The
sight you referred me to seem to imply that I must have 100hrs for them to
offer me the insurance. Am I understanding that right? I have only 50 hrs
at present.

Eye twitches can sometimes be relieved through exercises. Focus
alternately on objects close up and far away. Without moving your
head, make your eyes look straight up, down, side-to-side, and in an
X shape.

I have only one eye and get eyestrain easily. This has helped me.
Rubbing and pressing deeply on the eye reflex points of the hands or
feet can also strengthen the eyes.

When they say 100 hours, they may be reffering to education from a school or
course that is setup to teach Reflexology.

Hiya, Qutaibah, I'm quite new to this refloxolgy group, but I
believe vetical refelexolgy is a technique that is practived while
the person is standing or sitting, ie there is no need to access the
soles of the feet. I have a book on the subject, but have not read
it in any depth, so cannot comment on the technique. the ISBN No.is

I just became a reflexologist, and I am really excited about it! Do I really
have to have 100hrs before I can get the insurance? I do plan to get more
educational hours in the future, but in the mean time, I am practicing my new
profession of reflexology. Let me know. Thanks!

Hi all, I just joined the group and was wondering what Recovazon is?
I guess it's an American herbal type remedy?

   Welcome Carole,

Recovazon is indeed a herbal remedy.
Based on a Shaolin (China, martial arts monks) post-combat formula, enhanced
with
   Rainforest herbs.

Last week I put some of the gel form
on the feet of a 91 year old client.
She told me this morning it had felt like
her feet were in kid gloves.

Ask me off list if you want to know more OK?

Is there an insurance company that specealizes in mal practice
insurance for reflexologists?

What are the requirements to be eligible for such coverage?

Thanks,

THINK ABOUT MERCURY ALLERGY Thimerisol is found in
many eye medications. It is a preservative that was
removed from saline years ago for the "sensitive" eye
crowd. It still is in many, as it is in Tetanus
immunizations and TB test solutions.

Benadryl would help Yes Ien will remind us that any1
using medications must recover twice, once from the
disease the other from the medication, but it is worth
a try. Look for the word thimerisol on your
medications and contact solution bottles, if it is
there, it is probably the culprit. I am a nurse and
the many doctors I work with have no idea about this.

work your adrenals, the epi and cortisol will help as
well as the diaphram reflex to relax. The liver to
clear the toxins. If you have trouble with old
silver/mercury amalgham fillings in your teeth, well
that is a whole other story.

In all honesty, you should work the whole foot, both feet for
diabetic neuropathy. You can't really zero in on any one area and
expect good results. My husband has diabetic neuropathy and you
really need to work the entire foot. If your friend can get her feet
in her lap, then she should just work all over, every centimeter. Use
the thumbwalking technique over every tiny area on each foot. Maybe
her hands won't be at the same angles as if someone else is working
on her, but I am sure it will at least help.

I am a lay person, into most all natural healing modalities, don't usually
use an RXs because I always have side effects that are worse than the original
ailment. I have an eye infection or allergy that has lasted 4 weeks, have been
to my optometrist, used 3 different prescriptions (because it was my eyes)
and can't seem to whip this. The medicines have caused more itching and
redness. For comfort I'm using aloe juice in my eyes for eyedrops and castor oil
on
the lids along with wet, cool tea bags to soothe. Haven't worn any eye makeup
or contact lens for all this time. I have never had any problems like this
for 40 years I've been an adult. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Blessings,
Sandy

I TAKE IT YOU MEAN CHEMOTHERAPY AS IN CHEMICAL THERAPY
There are many things that are helpful. Reflexology
being the first on my list of things to do as it is
the least invasive, often most comfortable and
quickest easiest. As a nurse in acute care hospitals,
I have had the chance to work on many, with the
patients reporting success and requesting repeat
sessions. Working the heart, liver, kidney reflexes very
important for overall health as the heart has to pass
blood to the liver to detox then to the kidneys to get
rid of it. Spleen lungs gallbladder not to be
ignored, but for comfort work also spinal reflex with
good Harley Davidson's and the head. Knowing the
location of the cancer to work those specific reflexes
is also helpful. Stomach adrenals to ward of nausea
too ohhhhhhhhhh the list could go on

Aromatherapy is the second best. Lavender being one
of the best you can use for any ailment. Lemon oil is
very helpful for masking bad odors during treatments,
but also covers the aroma of food. Remember the
olfactory nerve passes direct to the brain, so that it
stimulates the brain faster than the other senses as
it does not have to pass thru the hypothalamus or
other structure before reaching the brain. Essential
oils are not the only game in town, there are other
scents that mimick food that are available.

good luck, contact me off list if you have more
questions that i might help you with

Dear all:

This is a question put to me by a doctor friend. I looked
through the files but could not find an answer.

She has several patients with cancer, and she would like to know if
there are any therapies that could be applied to counter the
nasty effects of the quimiotherapy. Specially the lost of
taste ,and /or felling that everything tastes like metal, and the
swelling of the heart.

I thatch you in advance for any help you may give this dear friend
and her patients.

Yours truly,

MIR, SFO.

BLEPHROSPASM has many causes, basically it can be
related to irritation of the muscle, most commonly
seen in upper lids. good old "ten finger" osteopaths
have a good way of working on it by pinching during a
spasm then releasing then rubbing. just like any
muscle with a "knot" in it the irritated area creates
more toxins locally and increases the irritation and
increases the spasms...massage therapists love to find
this in the middle of a back as they apply direct
pressure to the area with thumbs HARD (like the
pinching) this causes the no blood flow to the area,
the spasm stops, then massaging the area brings fresh
blood to the area, removes toxins, removes irritation
and your back feels better, the same technically
applies to the problem u r having, when the spasm
starts, pinch hold til spasm stops + a ten count then
rub the area. warm packs might also help the blood
supply to the region.

BOTOX just like they use for wrinkles was originally
designed for just this problem, but remember it is
BOTULISM bacteria that is injected into the muscle

good luck
