Re: [Reflexology Community ] Re: Weird find

I would ask for more details to know what your working with. Did you get a
history before you started sessions?

We don't work on specifics but you should know your clients history.

Hello all,
I have a reflexology client this weekend, with a very "weird finding", or at
least it was for me. Fifty some year old male, with a history significant for
mild cardiac problems, gout, lymphatic congestion. I was examining his feet as I
worked and I saw one area, about 1.5 inch circle on the medial aspect of the
foot right in the middle with what looked like large open pores, there were many
of these pores or holes, and it was on both feet. I said "what's going on here",
the client, laughed and said something that I didn't quite understand. his wife
was present and they both said something about his youth. WHAT IS THIS? anybody
see this? regarding their response, I thought maybe it was from IV drug use?
although I have never heard of this. HOLES in his feet.
thanks for any help

Michelle: Perhaps it is plantar's wart as they tend to embed deep in the foot and dematologists use dry ice to get rid of them and it does produce a hole....it...

Hi Jane and Michelle, This is nothing I have ever seen in my experience of reflexology. The client's comment did seem to point to perhaps some past behavior....

IV drug use is seen as "tracks" along a vein.  The track marks are actually carbon creating a tattoo on the skin.  The needle passes thru a flame to fill...
