Re: [rawpaleodiet] Re: Pics of kids eating raw beef

Hi Edwin

You mention raw goat; do you ever eat goat leg? Goat is quite tough; do you
eat tough parts and how do your kids handle tough raw meat?

Did you used to eat rice? Have you noticed a difference not eating rice?

Nicola

My kids are not pure raw paleo nor cooked paleo eaters.

I'm the one doing the raw paleo thing so they get sprinkled with daddy chow.

The kids eat cooked white rice, cooked sea foods, few cooked / raw
vegetables, raw fish, raw sea weed, raw fruits, raw vegetables, cooked /
raw goat, cooked / raw beef, cooked pork, raw eggs, extra virgin olive oil.

We are into organic food.

Daddy (me), is into one of his health experiments again. Mommy (my
wife), approves of raw fish and raw eggs, but not yet raw beef. Wife
approves of seared beef. So I feed my kids raw beef when my wife is not
around.

My children need constant feeding so raw fruits are always available
whenever they are hungry. I think their eating frequency and
requirements are different. I think they need more nutritious stuff
like liver and organ meats. I listen to their requests. My 6 year old
loves goat kidney for example.

We live in Manila, Philippines so our fruits are mostly organic, wild,
and changes season every few months.

In order of quantity my kids eat: raw fruits, cooked rice, cooked / raw
animals, vegetables.

I'm slowly transforming our family diet, thanks to all your help.

We have 3 nannies and a cook, Filipino diet is based on white rice.
Although I'm the more attentive parent, I'm not a full time parent, but
my business is walking distance from our house. The kids get their raw
animal foods when I or my wife is with them at meal times. The nannies
and the cook are not raw foodists.

I've noticed my kids are enthusiastic with raw fish, raw egg yolks and
raw beef. Not so with cooked versions. And they do not like vegetables
so much. In fact my 3 year old girl does not like vegetables at all.
Our raw fruits are superior to vegetables anyway.

I'm a raw paleo newbie, only began January 2008 so I haven't sorted all
the food sources yet. So it really depends on me being successfully
able to self experiment and source out the raw animal foods. I've
already succeeded with the raw fruits since I came from raw fruitarian
prior to raw paleo.
