Last night I ate about half a pound of raw salmon with some
unpasteurized raw butter and mineral water. Half way through the night
the acid from my stock came up to my mouth and I vomited. Nothing came
out but some stomach acid. I ate some white sour dough bread thinking
it will help. Got some more sleep and again vomited an hour or so
later. This time a little bread and very little of the salmon came out.
I seem to have problems with salmon or perhaps it has a very strong
detoxification on me. A few months ago when I was at the start of this
diet after eating some raw salmon I got a very nasty flu. I am not
sure if the flu was related to the salmon eating but it happened very
close time wise. Today I am OK but a little nauseous and only ate very
little. The salmon I ate was from supermarket, fresh, wild caught and
expensive. I was wondering if anyone can shed some light on why this
happened (the vomit), does anyone see any connection between the flu
and eating salmon?
