Hi,

Dear friends,
Our campaign to stop a Harper majority government from devastating our climate is building incredible momentum, with a storm of media this week, and a rising chorus of voices across the country calling for unity across party lines and smart voting in this election.
The last election was decided by just 30,000 votes in close races. In just 72 hours, we've had over 10,000 pledges from Canadians to come together across party lines and vote for the candidate most likely to defeat the Conservative where live. If we can get to 30,000 pledges, we could actually make the difference in this election. Click below to sign the pledge, and forward this email to everyone you know who cares about the planet:

The campaign is really taking off – with 10,000 vote smart pledges, over $100,000 raised in a few days, full page ads running this week in key ridings, and our fantastic new campaign song from top Canadian artists that is playing on radio stations across the country. x28;click below to listen to it!x29; Avaaz's efforts have been featured in the Globe and Mail, Macleans, Toronto Star, Radio Canada and loads of other media outlets this week, and our efforts are building a massive groundswell of concern and protest.
Harper has dropped 6 in the polls, and Canadians opposed to a Harper majority government are uniting like never before. The tide is turning, let's ramp up our efforts.
