Dear Bhaskar,Sorry about the confusion about the two groups. Our group is a raw foods natural hygiene group and the other is a general raw food group. The other group posted their general raw foods pot-luck invitation on our Natural Hygiene website as a courtesy. We receive this querie about the difference often and so I posted an answer in the FAQ section of the Database on our group website:A. Peeled, chopped, sliced, diced, spiralized, machine-mixed, pureed, blended, smoothied, souped, juiced, dehydrated, leathered, heated below a temperature considered the threshold of preserving enzymes, (in total - all food preparation that oxidizes), not food-combined and hence causing indigestion, served with an infinate number of foods at a meal, including mushrooms, onions, garlic, radishes, condiments, sauces and other irritants, salted, sea-salted, spiced, herbed, non-organic and missing 90% of Natural Hygiene - all the other causes of True Health! There are exceptions for people whose bodies are not physically capable of tolerating all fresh organic whole ripe raw foods. One example of an exception was a person who Les and I helped. He had cancer of the lungs and throat, and then the brain that then further progressed to other parts of his body, and his wife juiced organic produce for him and fed him through his G-tube, with the permission of the family doctor. His wife gratefully claims that this kept him alive much longer than anyone expected. Please regard all raw-foodists as our friends. They are on a learning curve, as everyone else involved in natural health is, hopefully transitioning to Natural Hygiene. Our group's next meeting is on Tues Feb 7th at 6 pm , at the Deli inside the Big Carrot, where we all meet and then go over to the produce section to purchase whatever we each would like. Please check our group's calendar:As for your needs to go completely raw very easily and without any food prep, check out all the resources on our group website, from the Home page description to Photos, to Reccomended Reading in the Database, to Files, to Links, and all the other answers in the FAQ and/or give Les a call at 416-887-0333.Welcome to our group! Please let us know how this works for you.Sincerely,Dianne
