Hello Heather-
I do not sit here all day . I pop on and off. We now high speed Broadband so
life is good agian. When we moved out here all we had was dail up.
We had a brand new perfect house and yard. Moving to this old old old farm. We
did over extrend ourselves to afford it. For 6 month owed 2 homes but 2008 wil
be a better year. If milk prices stay high I should be able to pay off all my
cows. And start to show a small profit. Now to get grain prices to level out.
I do spend 6-8 hours in the barn. Morning and late afternoon.
Nice to hear from you and I hope you find the farm you are looking for.
Liz

tank!!!! That was 3 ish years ago...still a sore spot..LOL

inspections on a repo home that we have an accepted offer on....not enough land
in my eyes, but will do for a start. Get a great price on a decent home, make
it a great home and get an even greater return is what I say. :)

Michigan were you have to buy "shares" in order to obtain raw milk or have your
own milking animal. I prefer raw goat milk. I have tried it investigated it and
dont mind the price of it (around $7 a gallon) but would rather have my own
animal and see what is going into, how the milk is handled, now how it is
acting, and its health condition.
