Hello and Welcome to the Raw Goat Milk Group!

We are a group of those who have found Raw Goat Milk beneficial to our health and well being. Join our group Today and share your knowledge, questions, concerns, health info, & where Raw Milk is legally avalible.
Only in the last hundred years or so has milk been pasteurized. If you like pasteurized milk then that is fine but there are those of us who have found Raw Goat's Milk is a Marvel of Nature. Back in the 20s, Americans could buy fresh raw whole milk, real clabber and buttermilk, luscious naturally yellow butter, fresh farm cheeses and cream in various colors and thickness. Today's milk is accused of causing everything from allergies to heart disease to cancer, but when Americans could buy Real Milk, these diseases were rare. In fact, a supply of high quality dairy products was considered vital to American security and the economic well being of the nation. Milk, as a food, has long been recognized as the most nearly complete food. And since the days of King Solomon, goat's milk has been held by the informed as being superior to any other kind. Raw Cow's milk is fine for some and also has some benefits but some people with weak or diseased stomachs find in harder to digest. Raw Goat's milk is much better because it forms a soft, small, easily digested curd in the human stomach and eases the digestive process.

Goats milk contains ALL the known vitamins and a large number of the rare mineral elements so necessary to the proper maintenance of human health. Goat's milk is, therefore, highly beneficial in assisting the correction of cases of stomach ulcer, tuberculosis, diabetes, eczema and many others because these diseases are caused by "hidden hunger" (a lack in the diet of one or more of these vital, rare food elements).

No Need to Pastuerize for chevre it tastes better and the heating ofcurd to get the Stretch virtually self pastuerizes Mozz so dont pre pastuerize milk for it

Think the trick is the microwave. As my moz was good. And not too rubbery. ... She put it into the microwave at first form. For 20 sec. yes hot for me too. And

Heidi, Unfortunately you can not successfully make Mozzarella from goats milk - it will always be like a rubber ball. The proteins in goats milk are different
