Releasing the Cold   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #56 of 247 |
We often get cold despite our efforts to avoid it. In Western
medicine, the reason for getting cold is the penetration of virus. On
the other hand, in oriental medicine, the reason for getting cold is
the penetration of cold and humid energy in the body. Therefore, the
prescription focuses on releasing that cold and humid energy.

The first gate of cold energy penetration is 'Poong-Mun' energy
point. And the cold energy moves to 'Poong-Ji' and at last 'Poong-
bu'. Gently stimulating these energy points helps releasing the cold.
Also massaging 'Hahp-gok' and 'Gok-ji' helps to heal. When one has
fever or difficulty in breathing, massage 'Kong-choi' in arms.

After stimulating each energy points, send energy to 'Dae-Chu' and
make it warm. Simply putting hot-pack or hot towel on the 'Dae-Chu'
point will bring the benefits. Try this method for about 3-4 days to
release cold.
