Here is an excellent little exercise for moving the pranas through all
the parts directly associated with depression.
Sit in easy pose. Inhale deeply and hold the breath in the throat
chakra. Take in a little more breath until you feel the energy
expanding there. Lean the head forward a little and then roll it
gently five times clockwise and five times counter clockwise. Keep
the breath held throughout. As you circle the head see/feel/perceive
the pranas spiraling out of the throat and throughout the brain,
senses, memory centres etc. Straighten the head. Exhale and
see/feel/perceive the pranas spiraling through the whole brain and
out the crown of the head (very important). One to three times at a
sitting, no more. Can be repeated twice a day and for long term to
energise the brain and relieve depression.
