The increased salivation is a very positive process, experienced in qigong
practice. It tells that new energy is generated during the the training of
the still qigong exercise (meditation). The consistency of this type of
saliva is much more watery and sweeter than the usual sailva. It is a sign
of trasformation of bodily fluids into qi energy.
Actually, in the ancient qigong books it has various names, one of which
is "jade elixir".
