Hi,
Under the state of relaxation or half-meditation, the energy field is
activated and it is possible that one starts to perform spontaneous
movements, which are known in China under the term 'spontaneous
qigong'. These movements are completely natural. For the awake
consciousness, these movements seem unconscious, however, for the
subconsciousness (which is activated during the state of relaxation
and meditation), they are normal and entirely purposive: they do
stimulate the cleansing and opening of the energy channels, they
assist in the process of restoration and improvement of the energy
and blood circulation in the body. D-r Wang Jianjun from China
explains that during this process, the brain does not control (or
almost does not control) the movements of the body, the willpower is
also passive, while the inner nature of man, which can very well
sense what is needed for health, feels itself released and
unrestricted by the commands of the brain, and thus it strives to
clean the all places in the body, which are in disbalance, where
there is a disease or conditions for the development of future
diseases.
In spontaneous qigong, the movements are quite different in each
individual, because the parts and the energy channels, which should
be cleansed are different for each person.
These movements may be slow, fast and even unusually fast-speeded.
They are characteristic and common only in the BEGINNING STAGE of the
person's transformation (you mentioned that your friend has started
to practice qigong recently) - the period of recovery of health.
After this they stop. Like their appearance, so their
discontinuation is completely natural.
Such movements appear almost in all people who have health
problems, no matter if:
1. the person himself practices meditation;
2. another person - healer - helps him with his energy, or:
3. the person relaxes under the accompaniment of music;
4. the person is under the state of collective relaxation or
collective meditation.
