Megumi and I watched The Secret a few days ago.
Being young and from Japan, it was an eye opener
for her ... that people could and should expect to
change, and ask for anything that they want.
A little sad to see it was predominantly about
material and consumer needs ... nothing of the
sacred land/earth, culture, ancestral, divine.
Tonight we watched The Celestine Prophecy,
and found it a couple of steps ahead of The
Secret. Wondrous fun cinematography and
shared experience of growing thru adolesence!
The Celestine Prophecy was about white
christian corporate culture growing out of its
male domination and sexual perversity. Being
situated in Peru, it also had the backdrop of
divine nature, the wilderness, and the sacred
diversity, some presence of a modest diversity
racial and cultural background.
No awareness of our aboriginal, native, ancestral
peoples, or the ways of nature ... or discussion
of the Maitreyah (Global Consciousness) or the
returning Global Feminine.
Still, enlightenment for a great proportion
of our western world.
For all our relations,
Millennium Twain
