your are connecting, Margaret!
your feeling of the sublime, supernatural, ethereal,
celestial, humility of peacefulness ... aye.
the consumer/science world teachings are, of course,
that these feelings must be mixed with, subservient to,
the feelings of subordination, obediance ... and fear.
thus energy, which is no more fundamental than
matter -- is promoted by the 'church' to be the
goal. simply more sugar-fix, addiction. mindless
motion. a widespread new-age propaganda.
energy, quantized lightwaves, and matter are each
made from the same numinous substrate!
that which we truly, divinely, ARE!!
that subtle ubiquity variously named electromagnetism,
light, communication, consciousness, aether, spirit!!!
always created, in thought and word and deed,
and spiritual cultivation. flowing and merging and
evolving.
a cosmic ocean of song, ocean rivers of the soprano,
tenor, alto, baritone and bass ... all joining and moving
in a neverending chorus.
now, on Earth, approaching the apex of harmony,
the epiphany, the episong.
in HER returning, nurturing,
the whole heart/mind/body of worldwide
humanity, global consciousness.
with all our relations!

I'm most certainly not a scientist but my very scientific
daughter told me that there really is no such thing as
matter, that everything is energy and what we call matter
is just energy in a very tight package. This is why,
according to her, that we can sense the "life" in all
things within the universe and of the universe itself.
I know I'm not explaining this very well but it was a
moment of insight for me since, if energy can neither
be created nor destroyed but only changed, then
energy must be eternal with no beginning and no end,
in other words, the Divine, Alpha and Omega always
with us and always within us.
