An Invitation to Join the Body Soul & Spirit Online Community

Over the years, the Body Soul & Spirit Expo has hosted a number of
remarkable businesses, organizations, and individuals at our annual
events. In that time we have become much more than a "holistic
expo", and as our website continued to grow, we've found that an
increasing number of visitors to our site using us as a resource to
find products, practitioners, business, schools, and workshops.
After speaking to our professional exhibitors and clients, we began
to formulate a vision of creating a holistic community that would
meet this need.

Part of that vision inspired us to expand the Body Soul & Spirit Expo
Web site into a year-round holistic directory and online community.
This new community will give you a platform to educate your clients,
and make your many products, services and resources available
throughout the year.

The first part of this online community was launched in August of
2005, and was funded by many of our colleagues that we have worked
with over the years. As we continue to grow, we would like to invite
you to participate, as we are confident that as we all work together,
we can create something truly wonderful!

Our vision is to create a truly interactive online community, with
both "general members" (free membership), and a professional
membership, with tools, forum, and interactive features that will
allow those interested in your services, products, educational
programs or organization to interact with you, and learn more of what
you offer. The site is "personalized" for each member, and allow
members to post, edit, and update your information, choose their
interactive features allows you to select your options based on
membership level and desired level of participation.

A professional membership gives you your own place on our website,
with several dynamic and interactive features that are sure you
noticed, helping you to cultivate a relationship with potential
clients, and reach those interest in what you offer.

Some of the many features include the inclusion of you workshops,
classes or events in the calendar of events, as well as on your
professional pages, the ability to post articles, moderate in
the "Ask An Expert" forms, email notification to our general member
(who select appropriate options) of special events, and much more.

The key to success in our on-line community is the level of
interactivity it provides, allowing you to establish relationships by
answering questions from general members, educating potential clients
by posting articles, and notifying members of your events, seminars,
or classes.

Your page grows with you, and the more you participate, and you will
also be found on all the other pages on our site that apply to what
you offer (e.g. if you offer Cranial Sacral Therapy, or post an
article on Cranial Sacral Therapy, it will appear on the pages
pertaining to Cranial Sacral Therapy). This means that not only are
you building your own part of the site, but contributing to the

For those looking a less involved option, our Directory Membership,
offers many of the same features, with the exception of the
professional page. With this membership, you information will come
up in our directory under you selected category, you will be able to
participate (if accepted) as a moderator in the "ask an expert"
forums, share you knowledge by contributing to the member articles,
and much more.

Other options, such as a fully functioning e-commerce store, banner
advertising, email list notification and much more are also
available, and new features are planned as the site expands. (Your
participation funds the sites development and promotion).
