Patrick used to arch his neck back because he had sleep
apnea.  He was trying to open his airway so he could breathe better. 
After his tonsils & adenoids were removed, this problem went away. 
Patrick was a very noisy breather since birth.  Does your baby have
this
problem? 
 
Patrick's adenoids didn't "look" large.  I was
insistent that Patrick's T & A be removed.  The dr. said Patrick would
have to have a sleep study before he would remove them.  After only 30
minutes of the sleep study before Patrick was even asleep, the tech
said,
"Patrick would be having some kind of surgery." 
 
I hope you will see an ENT to see if this is a
possibility.
