I would like to hear from people who cockers have small ear canals.
Boomer has them. We have been working really hard to get his
infection under control. When he arrived his ears were terrible.
They are much better now, but I am still worried about him. We use
the blue power treatment twice a day on him. It appears that it is
hard to get the liquid down. His ears are harder than my other guys
if that makes any sense. I have started using a dropper and that
seems to help. His former owner said he has suffered from ear
infections all his life because of his allergies and was constantly
on medication for ear infections and allergies. I am working on the
allergies and in fact making great progress in that area. When he
arrived she had him on pred for his allergies. I have not given him
pred at all since coming to our house. I have been handling his
allergies with herbs and supplements. His skin is no longer flaky
and although he still chews his paws he does not stratch. He has
almost totally stopped stratching his ears also. I think I need to take the
yeasty foods out of his diet to see if that would help.
