Greetings!

There are so many stray cats around our complex. One morning I
walked outside to do my stretching, meditation and yoga and this HUGE
cat was on my ledge. She frightened me, she looked like a fat hairy
possum.

Well, yesterday she made her way to our apartment. My 14 year old
scooped her up immediately. The Humane Society was closed today so
we are taking her tomorrow. Then we will see about adopting her.

I have no idea what kind of cat she is. She has very long hair, blue
eyes and a big thick furry tail. My daughter says she looks like the
cat in the movie Meet the parents. I hate cat hair and must admit I
am doing pretty well with the short hair cat but this one is a
beauty. It is obvious that at one time she had to be someone's well
cared for pampered cat (she has no tag). My daughter says something
about long hair siamese cats???

Any idea as to the type of cat she is and what we should do to make
her comfortable and advice on not getting any fleas if she indeed has
them? She is in my daughter's bathroom as it is a tiled surface. I
would had to have fleas again.
