Hi!
I am Michelle and this is a run down on my "pack":
Molly - 10 1/2, spayed Aust Shep. Doing pretty darn good - avoiding cruciate
surgery, hypothyroid and on Soloxine, seasonal allergy stuff. The socialite of
the pack.
Emma - 9, spayed Aust Shep mix. The "train wreck". Doing lots better now
that her Addison's disease was diagnosed and treatment started. Has severe
IBD, and chronic urinary tract infections and is incontinent.....we're working
on it all these days.
Luke - 5, intact Aust Shep. The "man" and top dog. A total powerhouse and
totally devoted to me. All bone and muscle - hard to keep weight on the boy.
He has mild IBD/colitis so we are very careful what he eats.....
Zack - 8 mos intact Aust Shep. The puppy and destructo machine. So far, he
is just a goofy growing puppy - happy and healthy.....
I live to clean up and analyze poop. I am being funny.....but, seriously with
2 IBD dogs it becomes part of life unfortunately...., Basically, I am boring in
comparison :)
Right now I am cooking food for these guys. Chicken and rice primarily, its an
evolving thing and we are looking for some permanent solutions that will work
for everyone in my pack.
Hope this is a fairly active and informative list - I will certainly share info
when I can!
