Hi folks...
FYI, most herbs that are anthelmintic also carry the same cautions/warnings
as wormwood.
These herbs such as tansy, wormwood and black walnut hull work due to their
toxic nature...weakening/killing the parasite so it can be expelled from the
body.
Needless to say, conventional heartworm treatments such as Heartguard and
Interceptor do have associated risk with their use but I don't want you to
think that the above mentioned herbs are benign.
For intestinal parasites you can use ground pumpkin seed, grated carrots,
non-chemically treated diatomaceous earth and/or garlic. These substances
are low risk, if at all.
