Dotty~
We use colloidal silver here for our family in many different ways. I used
it in my children's eyes when they started to get pink during a recent bout
of flu, and I knew without it I would be dealing with a full blown infection
by morning. A few applications and it completely went away. I also have
used it in my dog's eyes after slight injuries to help it heal, then brought
them to the vet to make sure there was no extensive damage.
During cold and flu season, I like to spike our orange juice with a drop or
two in the morning to keep our immune systems strong. If we happen to
succumb to the flu or cold virus, I up the dose a little, along with
echinacea, goldenseal, zinc, etc. I feel that treating illnesses this way
makes our immune systems stronger and more able to handle illnesses in the
future.
I have heard that people use colloidal silver topically as well for
scratches, but I haven't had an opportunity to utilize it like that yet. I
wouldn't hesitate to give it a try though. It is a wonderful antifungal,
anti bacterial and anti-viral agent. It is believed that the reason why the
"Blue Bloods" did not succumb to the various epidemics of their time is
because they ate from silver spoons and drank from silver cups and ate from
silver plates, thusly always having a trace amount of silver in their
systems. Little royal babies were given silver spoons to suck on as a
pacifier (born with a silver spoon in their mouths).
Let us know how the silver works for you. I am sure it will help it heal
quickly.
