It seems that people are really divided on the colloidal silver issue. Some people swear by the stuff, even using it internally. Then there are others that think it is fine for external use since there seems to be a risk involved in taking it internally. Our holistic vet gave it a try in his practice (and he has been holistic since 1980) and ended up tossing his supply out, stating that there were far better remedies than the colloidal silver. I personally would use Calendula on the abrasion. I have Calendula ointment and it does an outstanding job on all the little cuts, abrasions and other little war wounds seen in our rather large cat family. Some people crush Calendula pellets in put it directly on the wound and some use the tincture.
