Hello Dee,
Sorry to hear about you kitten with the ear and balance problem. My primary
skill is as a homoeopath. I have put in some comments on what you say.

This is the presenting problem--the infection and the head tilt. No way to
tell which came first. The antibiotics will have knocked out the symptoms of
the infection, but not taken care of the cause, which may or may not have
been blockage of the ear passage by the polyp.

Something special about feral cats that have been tamed. All my cats have
come in from the wild.

Surgery would still not get to the casue of the problem.
I called our holistic vet and we are

I am not surprised. thuja is a very useful remedy, but although a lot of
people believe it is a specific for warts, polyps and so on, this is not in
fact the case. Thuja is very useful for treating these conditions ONLY if
the rest of the symptoms ie the whole of the case, including things like
personality, the state of the animal's fur, appetite and all the rest, can
be matched up.
Any suggestions?

So. what to do? I have a couple of suggestions, based on a lot of experience
treating strays. The very first thing I would do would be to give ONE dose
of Sulphur 6X liquid. One drop in the cat's water bowl. This will bring to
the surface the symptoms that need to be treated. The ear may begin to run
again, and so on. After three days, there should be a clear symptom picture
which can then be prescribed upon. My (educated) guess is Syphilinum 30C.
Also a single dose. However, if the symptoms involve the coat (itchy,
patchy, scurfy, etc) Rhus tox 6X would be my choice.
I really do not think Thuja is the correct remedy. Hope this is useful to
you.
