Hi my name is Melanie. I have a rabbit, and just recently haveadopted a cat. My
cats name is Winston. He is supposedly a MaineCoon, but he's small, and skinny.
We've had some problems W/him sinceHe's been here (about 2 1/2 weeks) He vomits
alot after he eats. Impretty sure its hairballs. I've got some hairball remedy
treats, butHe's still vomiting up bg clumps of hair, along w/ the food. I haveto
give him only handfuls of food at a time because he'll just keepeating and
eating till he gets sick again. He also has very loose poops, and the volunteer
from the sheltersaid she'd give me a wormer for him, since he also came w/
fleas. I'mnot crazy about giving him all those chemicals, though,
anysuggestions? I'm currently giving him 1 tab of brewers yeast, 1 tab of
dessicatedliver, and 1 tab of bonemeal crushed w/ a spoonful of wet food. He
isalso got thinning patches of fur on his sides from him licking, andme brushing
to try to prevent hairballs. Maybe I'll just get himshaved and start fresh! lol
