HELLO EVERYONE, BUT am friend of mine lives in FL and has a very giving
soul. Well here is her story I am forwarding please feel free to cross post
for these puppies she has saved need homes desparately thanks for listening

and suddenly I spot movement under the brush.
I tell myself, don't look back, keep driving. Then I think of Charlie lying
in the floor of my van and thank the man who brought that litter of pups to
be put to sleep at my vets some 16 yrs ago. Where ever that man is today I
would like to thank him for having to presence of mind to at least have a
litter of puppies put to sleep rather than dump them with no food or water or
protection from predators. Because of that man two of those puppies remained
in my family into their golden years and were much loved pets.
I stopped the van and what I saw caused the slow trickle of tears to open
like a flood gate. Once again I have stumbled upon four starving,
dehydrated, terror filled puppies. I don't know what they are other than
mixes, this time they are black and tan. Who knows shepard, dobie, rottie,
hound? I say to myself, I can't do this again I'll just catch them and take
them to my vet. Well, I chased around dumpsters, into the woods, through
briars and finally caught all four and I hope to God I didn't miss any. As I
loaded these frightened creatures into a crate I realized I just couldn't
present my blithering self to my vet and his office staff so, bitten, pee'd
on, scratched and whatever else I headed home. I don't know what I am going
to do with these pups and I am not going to think any more about it today.
By the way Charlie, while watching me from the Bridge, you thought
I needed these pups there must be a reason but I sure can't see it right
now.
4/7/00-pups are about 8 weeks old. Appear to be hound X shepherd.
2 boys and 1 girl remaining. They are shades of black and tans.
Other pups were found at same site on Dec. 20. They appear to be lab and
possibly terrier mix. They are black with white chest and feet, one has
brindle legs. These pups have had all vaccines except their rabies. They
are about 4-5 months old now. ARE IN FL ~ if you are possible interest in
adopting please contact asap for Cathy's funds are running low :( any help
