Then that is fine, the puppy can eat once a day. However, make sure the
one meal is very high quality. A high quality dry food along with some
human grade food.

I sold Solid Gold a few years ago and pets appeared healthy but only were
eating enough to survive because they hated the food. Make sure this is
not the problem.
