> 7 yr old deaf fe-sp cat who has chronic herpes (eyes) Current
>treatment: 500 mg lysine
Great Lysine is the Number One nutrient recommended for herpes. However,
make sure she is getting minimal grains, chicken, corn, dairy products, and
oats as these contain L-Arginine, an amino acid that suppresses L-Lysine.
L-lysine retards virus growth.
Besides Lysine I would recommend an all around good vitamin that contains
all the vitamins, minerals, some amino acids and digestive enzymes. Lysine
is very important but so are vit. A, B, C and many others. The one I would
recommend is Mega Pet located on my website www.purelypets.com
In treating the actual herpes disease it is a fairly intense program since
it affects many parts of the body. Because the entire body needs to be
treated this is done in steps. Here is the program which I can go into
detail if you like.
Program One -- taken first month:
Mega Pet
Viral d'tox
Program Two -- taken second month:
Mega Pet
Viral d'tox
Newton's d'tox
Program Three -- taken third month
Mega Pet
Viral d'tox
Super C 2000
Program Four -- taken fourth month
Mega Pet
Viral d'tox
Garlic Daily Aid
Program Five -- taken fifth month
Mega Pet
Viral d'tox
Yeast & Fungal d'tox
Follow Program Five for as long as needed.
I realize this program is very difficult considering you have so many pets
to work with and rescue, but I wanted to give you the best program
>Also have a 12 yr old fe-sp dog in renal and heart failure. Has recently had
>a bout with vestibular disease---now seems better. Before that she was
eating
>fine (lots of allergies--so she ate Eukanuba FP)

Now she is not eating
>well---so basically am feeding her whatever it takes to get her to eat. Have
>tried hamburger/rice and canned commerical foods. Strangely she seems to
like
>dog biscuits---usually can get her to eat them if she won't eat anything
else!
>Meds for her: Lasix, Uroeze, Thyroxine, Zantac, Enacard, Pred, Cosequin.
>Don't have ml info here at computer--can get that if it is needed.
My feeling is that many of her problems are related to a Yeast infection.
I feel this because first she is attracted to dog biscuits. When pets have
yeast infections their bodies crave yeast feeding foods -- dog biscuits
being one of the them -- because of the sweetners and other ingredients
used. Second because she is on antibiotics -- which feed yeast. Third
reason is because she has allergies.
I am sending you a copy of a yeast article I wrote. It explains what a
yeast infection is, the symptoms, and how to treat it naturally. Please
see if the symptoms fit and let me know. I will send the article
separately from this one.
>Also have a 14 yr old fe (sp?) cat who is in renal failure. 200 ml sub Q
>fluids every other day (spiked with Potassium). Feeding canned CNM NF and
Dry
>WD---hard to get her to eat---very lethargic.
I will also send you an article I wrote on Kidney Disease in Cats. Please
keep in mind it is NOT completed and a little disorganized.
>4 yr old M-N white boxer with pancreatitis
I'll send you the Pancreatitis Article too.
--still in hospital---72 hrs on
>IV--amylase still off the scale and lipase only slightly improved. He had
not
>had anything unusual to eat to trigger this episode (diet Nutro Max Natural
>Choice Lamb/Rice
Many times stress or environmental factors cause an episode of
Pancreatitis. Also lamb is a very fatty meat and Pancreatitis pets often
do not do well on a lamb diet. A chicken meal diet might work better.
>We also have a paraplegic dog---any suggestions to help her with
bowel/bladder
>control?
yes Kidni Kare located on my website. This strengthens the bowel/urinary
system.
She was shot in the back as she ran away from a guy, bullet
>travelled up her spine leaving her paralyxed in her hindquarters.
There are some really rotten people in this world!! I did rescue for one
year and had to get out. Actually my husband begged me to get out because
I became an emotionally wreck. I handled all the dogs as they were coming
into the program and the abuse I saw was horrific. I could never
understand why people thought up the things they did to abuse animals. We
had to turn so many animals away and it really affected me emotionally. I
admire you for your determination and strength in being able to do what you
do.

I work with another lady Jeannie and I hope you don't mind that I forward
this email to her. I have not discussed herpes with her and would like her
to have a copy of this email.
