I just subscribed to your list. To briefly introduce myself, my name is
Nicole and I live in South Africa.

I have several pets, but the one I am most concerned about at the moment is
my cat, Blackie. She is a 14 year old tabby who has been diagnosed with
asthma. She was first diagnosed a few years ago, but our vet at the time
told us not to worry about it - that it was more distressing for us to
hear, than it was for her. Last year it got noticeably worse and our vet
put her on cortisone. She is normally on 1 every second day, but due to the
change of season - her coughing has got worse, so I've increased it to 1
every day.

She is in otherwise perfect health, as is her sister. But I would like to
know if there is any "alternative" treatment for cat asthma. ANY
information and advice would be greatly appreciated.
