Debbie,
I am so sorry to hear about Bongo's passing. Our deepest sympathies go out
to you and your family during these trying times. Bongo sounds like he was
such a special boy, and the story of him and Cleatus is a hoot! I know his
absence has a deeper meaning for you than most because of his special
abilities.
It's natural to assign yourself guilt when things like this happen. If I
only did this. If I only stopped that. But, you have no reason at all to feel
guilty because no matter how hard we try or how perfect we follow a plan,
life has a way of throwing us curve balls.
Take care and keep in touch. May your other pets live long and healthy
lives.
