Hi Debbie,
My suggestion would be to make one change at a time to see what is causing
the urine to smell so strong. Strong urine sometimes signals too much
acidity, so the first thing you want to do is change the diet. Innova is a
very high quality food that should not cause acidic urine, but in your
pet's case it might. I would try the new food for about 1 month to see if
that helps. If that does not work, I would next suggest adding an all
around supplement as sometimes a nutrient deficient causes this problem.
If both of these suggestions do not work, your pet may have a urinary tract
infection or some bacterial infection going on. Normally this is seen in a
blood test or urine test. Has your vet tested both?
Keep me updated.
